Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Value Added Tax (VAT) and Luxury Goods Sales Tax (LGST) for students of Class XII.AKL.1 at State Vocational High School 1 Dumai in the academic year 2022/2023. This is done through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning Model with Problem-Based Learning (PBL). The subjects of this research are 36 students of Class XII.AKL.1 at State Vocational High School 1 Dumai in the academic year 2022/2023. This class was chosen as the research subject because the students' learning outcomes in the previous topic were lower compared to other classes. Out of the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) set by the school, which is 75, there were 15 students (41.67%) who met the criteria. The research results show that in the first cycle, the number of students who passed was 21 (58.33%), and it increased to 32 (88.89%) in the second cycle. The students' average activity level in the first cycle was 69.25%, categorized as good, and in the second cycle, it increased to 94.26%, categorized as very good. The teacher's activity level in the first meeting of the first cycle was 26 (52%), which increased to 34 (68%) in the second meeting. It further increased to 41 (82%) in the first and last meetings of the second cycle, and 47 (94%) in the second meeting. The overall research results indicate that the implementation of the Cooperative Learning Model with Problem-Based Learning (PBL) effectively improves student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the maximum vertical displacement of vibrations experienced by the bridge when something passes over it and compare it with the complete removal permitted by SNI 03 – 2847 – 2002. To find out the direction of movement of vibration particles when a vehicle/something crosses the bridge. The maximum vertical displacement value of bridge vibration due to vehicle load experimentally ranges from 8.5 mm – 29.2 mm and theoretically from 127.5 mm – 170 mm. This value (experimentally) is smaller than the results obtained in theory, which means that the bridge structure can still withstand the instantaneous external loads that cross the bridge. At the same time, the direction of movement of the bridge particles passed by vehicles is generally vertical to the direction of the bridge.

Abstract

This scientific work aims to determine the value of vehicle amplification. Data processing uses Geopsy software with HVSR analysis, and the analysis results produce amplification values. From the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that for areas where landslides have not occurred, locations I, II, and V. Location I with low soil classification, the amplification value of each truck vehicle is 2.52, car 2.63, and motorcycle 2.26. In location II, where landslides have not yet occurred, the medium soil classification is for trucks with an amplification value of 3.47. In contrast, the low classification for cars and motorcycles has an amplification value of 2.73 and 2.77, respectively. For location V, which is far from the main road, the amplification value of 4.26 is included in the medium soil classification. Meanwhile, landslides have occurred in locations III, IV, and VI. Locations III, IV, and VI are where landslides have occurred with moderate and high soil classifications. Location III is included in the moderate classification with an amplification value of 4.08 for trucks, 4.37 for cars and 4.38 for motorbikes. Location IV, the amplification value of each vehicle (6.47 (truck), 6.08 (car)) is included in the high classification, while the amplification value of motorbike vehicles is 5.73 in the medium classification. Location VI is far from the main road, and landslides have occurred with an amplification value 6.20 with high soil classification

Abstract

During this time, the basic need for security has been established since the founding of the company. However, security measures are carried out only as they are, not consciously through more mature planning. In its activities, security management ensures that information resources remain secure and alert to their integrity, confidentiality, and availability so that they can minimize losses when unwanted things happen. Security management is to ensure that assets (buildings, machines), human resources (employees, visitors), and information systems (data, application programs) remain secure. The task and function of security management are to organize the safety and order in the environment or work area to prevent any disturbance of order and order or other violations of the rules of the company. Securities management is a part of overall management that covers the organizational structure, planning, responsibilities, implementation, procedures, processes, and resources necessary for the development, application, achievement, assessment, and maintenance of security policies in order to control the risks associated with business activities. Security management is based on the processing of data that is then analyzed about an event that has already occurred or may occur in a locality or environment. Security management is not only expected to keep information resources secure but also to keep the company functioning after a disaster or collapse of the security system.

Abstract

There are elements that result in an accident on the highway. These elements include damaged roads. Damaged roads based on applicable regulations illustrate that it is the government's responsibility to carry out their authority as road administrators, be it the central government, regional governments, whether provincial or district/city. The obligation of road administrators is based on the fact that there are credible facts about the occurrence of accident cases as a result of neglect by the organizers due to the lack of government attention regarding road damage in a relatively long period of time. This government negligence becomes a condition as a result of government activities which are considered to have harmed the community. A government that does not carry out an obligation that is under the authority to repair damaged roads which results in losses for the community and takes many victims. The City Regional Head Government is responsible not only for the losses caused by his actions, but also for the losses suffered by other people, namely being responsible for material losses caused by his negligence.

Abstract

The basic need of society is water and how water is managed has a great impact on social activities. The government of Indonesia has the right and power to administer and make use of water resources in accordance with Law No. 17 of 2019 and Article 33 Paragraph 3 of the 1945 Constitution. In terms of regulation, the government is crucial the best way to use water to suit societal demands. Although SOEs and BUMDs are responsible for water resources to be managed for the benefit of society, they still face obstacles and require assistance from BUMS or the private sector. Political and regulatory changes in Indonesia also affect the process of managing water resources, including the repeal of relevant laws that may impact projects already underway. Companies can only manage water resources if all community demands are met and they comply with standards set by the Constitutional Court. The interests of the community must come first in managing water resources that used effectively for the community.
