Abstract

Unlawful acts are actions that violate the rights or interests of other people which are protected by law. in unlawful acts, the perpetrator is asked to e held responsible. This rasearch aims to analyze the responsibility of PT Surya Sawit Mandiri for unlawful acts that occured in Koto Tandun Village, Rokan Hulu Regency. The main focus is the impact of environmental pollution caused by this company’s activities, including air and water pollution, as well as the impact on the health of local communitaies. Apart from that, researshers also examine the obstacles faced by companies in completing their responsibilities. The type of research used by the author is sociological research, because in this research the author directly conducted research at the location or place being studied in order to provide a complete and clear picture. This research was conducted in Koto Tandun Village, Rokan Hulu Regency, while the population and sample were all parties related to the company and the supporting literature. The data obtained was then analyzed qualitatively and preseted descriptively. Based on theresearch results, it was found that PT Surya Sawit Mandiri dit not fully comply with applicable rules and regulations, causing harm to the community and the surrounding evironment. However, PT Surya Sawit Mandiri wil take quite a long time due to the many obstacles it faces. For this reason, it is hoped that this research can provide suggestions for increasing company compliance with environmental regulations and managing negative impacts arising from inustrial activities.

Abstract

This study aims to deeply understand the experiences of female workers in Pinrang Regency in carrying out their dual roles as breadwinners and housekeepers. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method to explore the subjective meaning of participants' life experiences. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with a number of female workers and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study show five main themes that represent the dynamics of the dual roles of female workers, namely: (1) economic motivation as the main driver of work, (2) difficulty in dividing time between work and household chores, (3) psychological and physical stress due to dual workloads, (4) adaptive strategies in navigating roles, and (5) views on social support and policies that are still minimal and less supportive of women's needs. This study confirms that female workers are in a vulnerable position due to the patriarchal social structure that has not fully changed. These findings provide an important contribution to efforts to strengthen the voices of female workers and encourage the formulation of fairer and gender-responsive public policies, especially in the informal labor sector in rural areas.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how social gender construction shapes parenting patterns in families in the digital era. A qualitative approach was used with an in-depth interview method with 10 married couples in Makassar City who have school-age children. Data were analyzed using thematic techniques, with steps ranging from interview transcription, data coding, identification of main themes, to interpretation based on the theory of social construction of gender. The results of the study show that although the digital era has changed many aspects of life, the division of roles in childcare is still dominated by traditional gender construction. Mothers remain the main party responsible for care, including accompanying children in online learning, monitoring gadget use, and searching for digital learning resources. Meanwhile, fathers tend to take a supporting or corrective role, which appears only when needed. These findings reflect how internalized gender norms continue to influence parenting practices in families, even amidst technological advances. The digital era, which should be an opportunity to encourage a more equal division of roles, actually shows a double burden for women. Therefore, transformative efforts are needed through gender education, father involvement campaigns, and family policies that support equal parenting so that families can become fair and adaptive spaces in the digital era.

Abstract

This descriptive quantitative: were collected by tests: pretest and posttest. To know the instrument used in (Pre-test) and (Post-test) is valid and reliable; the researcher tried out the test. After the data have been collected on January to April 2024, the students of class F5 belong to experimental group while the students of class F4 belong to control group. Both classes were given pre-test at the beginning. Then, the students of experimental group were taught writing while the control group was taught without. It can be seen from the result of test. The average score increases writing narrative from mean 527 in 29 students’ from F5 as experimental and the average score F4 writing narrative is 522 from 29 students’. Meanwhile after treatment and the students’ writing narrative the score class F5 from 29 students’ got 820 from experimental. And then the score students’ writing narrative in class control F4 scores 810 from 29 students’ in writing narrative text. it can be seen that there is significant increase of experimental class to the students’ in writing ability. On the other words, the experimental class can be significant improvement in their learning writing ability and The hypothesis of testing shows that the score of the experimental class . it was founded that there is significant different between the result of the teaching and learning. It can be seen that the value of p is 0.000 lower than the value of the significant level 5% or 0.000 < 0.05 that get in the result of analysis

Abstract

Pekanbaru as a metropolitan city is developing very rapidly in the modernization era and has become a role model for districts or cities on various sides of its development. The shift in urban lifestyles in interpreting beauty is evidenced by the mushrooming of Pratama beauty clinics in the city of Pekanbaru. Women from various backgrounds and ages have different meanings and standards of beauty, so their lifestyles encourage consumer behavior towards various facial and body treatments provided by beauty clinics. Therefore, this research was carried out with the aim of finding out the consumer lifestyle and the meaning of beauty for beauty clinic users in the city of Pekanbaru. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with lifestyle theory by David Chaney, consumer behavior theory and hyperreality by Baudrillard. The informants in this research included beauty clinic customers, clinic staff and doctors. The results of this research are facial and body beauty care as a consumptive lifestyle for women in interpreting and meeting beauty standards. Women's consumptive lifestyle towards using treatments at beauty clinics also shows their social status or image in their environment. The hyper-reality that occurs is that women undergo treatment at beauty clinics because they feel it is safer to be handled directly by a specialist doctor, so their safety is more guaranteed and they are guaranteed to get the desired results more quickly and instantly. However, beauty treatments also have a dependency effect, making consumer behavior unavoidable because women's need for appearance has become a primary need.

Abstract

This research was conducted at FISIP Riau University, Pekanbaru, Riau. The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) The level of activeness of FISIP Riau University activists in the organization. 2) Academic achievement of activists who are active in organizing at FISIP Riau University. 3) The relationship between the activeness of activists in organizing with the academic achievement of activists FISIP Riau University. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of inferential research. The population in this study were all students who participated in organizations or activists at FISIP Riau University, with a sample of 69 respondents taken by random sampling. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence between organizational activeness on student academic achievement. This is evidenced by the F table value of 3.98 and F count of 63.135, where F count is greater than F table, which means that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Then, from the results of the T test that the effect of organizational activeness (X) in improving academic achievement (Y) with a significant value (sig) of 0.000 and a value of 0.05 so that the sig value is greater than the value of a equal to H0 is rejected which means there is an influence. Activist activism in organizations can be categorized as high, with an overall score of 3,636 which is in the interval 3222-4142. The academic achievement of activists is also categorized as high, with an overall score of 725 which is in the interval 646-830. The significance value (sig) of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05, which indicates a significant correlation between organizational activism (X) and academic achievement (Y). The calculated R value of 0.796 also indicates a high relationship or correlation between the two variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kenagarian Kamang Tangah Anam Suku Kecamatan Kamang Magek Kabupaten Agam Sumatera Barat dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara pemanfaatan gadget dalam pola asuh anak usia prasekolah terutama oleh orangtua. Seterusnya bagaimana perilaku anak yang memanfaatkan gadget dalam bermain. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori budaya yang dikemukakan oleh George Ritzer dan teori sosialisasi yang dikemukakan oleh Peter L. Berger. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu lima orangtua yang memiliki anak usia prasekolah. Hasil analisa dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa cara pemanfaatan gadget dalam pola asuh anak yang diberikan oleh orangtua yaitu kurangnya pendampingan oleh orangtua sehingga anak bebas dalam mengunakan gadget. Dampak perilaku yang terjadi akibat dari kurangnya pendampingan oleh orangtua membuat anak tidak bisa mengendalikan emosional serta kehidupan sosial anak di mana kurang terjadinya interaksi dengan teman-teman sebaya di lingkungan sekitarnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Minas Barat Kecamatan Minas Kabupaten Siak yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan bahasa nasional anak suku Sakai siswa SDN 011 di setiap aktivitasnya, mulai dari aktivitas di rumah, aktivitas bermain serta aktivitas di sekolah dan juga ingin mengetahui peran yang diberikan oleh orang tua dan guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa nasional anak suku Sakai siswa SDN 011. Dalam menentukan subjek penelitian, penulis menggunakan kriteria berdasarkan latar belakang keluarga yang berbeda beda, agar mendapatkan jawaban yang lebih bervariasi terhadap topik yang akan dibahas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Jumlah subjek peneltian ada 10 orang. Teori yang digunakan yaitu Teori Interaksionisme Simbolik dan Teori Sosialisasi. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa anak suku Sakai siswa SDN 011 masih kurang untuk menggunakan bahasa nasional ketika dirumah dan ketika bermain, hal tersebut dikarenakan adanya bahasa daerah yaitu bahasa Sakai sebagai bahasa yang selalu diterapkan serta disosialisasikan secara turun temurun oleh orang tua kepada anaknya dirumah dan lingkungan bermain yang berada dalam pemukiman dengan mayoritas suku Sakai yang tentunya juga menggunakan bahasa Sakai. Penggunaan bahasa nasional mulai secara aktif digunakan oleh anak suku Sakai siswa SDN 011 di lingkungan sekolah saja akibat adanya kegiatan pembelajaran yang mengharuskan mereka untuk menggunakan bahasa nasional terutama ketika berlangsungnya pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru di kelas. Kemampuan anak suku Sakai siswa SDN 011 dalam berbahasa nasional didapatkan dengan cara yang berbeda-beda mulai dari adanya sosialisasi berbahasa nasional yang diberikan oleh anggota keluarganya dirumah serta ada juga yang hanya mendapatkan pemamahan berbahasa nasional di sekolah saja.

Abstract

Integrating technology in digital era into daily life, poses challenges for companies in regulating employee activities during working hours. This study examines the impact of cyberloafing and employee empowerment on job satisfaction among PT Inti Indosawit Subur employees. Conducting a quantitative, associative research approach, data were collected from 76 employees through simple random sampling. Primary data were gathered via direct questionnaire distribution, and secondary data were sourced from literature reviews. Data analysis included instrument testing, classic assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. Results indicate that cyberloafing (X1) has a positive but insignificant effect on job satisfaction (t-value = 0.195 < 1.993, sig = 0.846 > 0.05, regression coefficient = 0.025). Conversely, employee empowerment (X2) significantly enhances job satisfaction (t-value = 5.630 > 1.993, sig = 0.000 < 0.05, regression coefficient = 0.676). Combined, cyberloafing and employee empowerment explain 33.7% of job satisfaction, with the remaining 66.3% influenced by external factors not covered in this study.

Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem for Indonesian education because almost all schools in Indonesia have bullying cases that cause mental trauma and often lead to death. bullying in the name of seniority is still very rampant among students from any level of education. This research aims to find out: 1) The forms of bullying behavior that occur in SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru, 2) The impact experienced by victims of bullying on students of SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. This research used descriptive quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique by distributing questionnaires to the population, then obtained a research sample of 68 people. The results showed that the most dominant form of bullying was verbal bullying (61.8%), physical bullying (35.3%), then the last was psychological bullying (19.1%). The most common impact received by the victims was stress and depression, namely 16 respondents. While physical injuries amounted to 5 respondents, loss of goods amounted to 10 respondents, and felt traumatized coming to school amounted to 7 respondents, with this impact being less dominant. The level of bullying that has the most influence on the high and low impact received is verbal bullying with 42 respondents and physical bullying with 24 respondents. Meanwhile, psychological bullying is less dominant with 13 respondents.
