Abstract

Stone is one of the C type materials from the eruption of Merapi volcano which is a commodity for the people around it. The process of transferring the materials to consumers uses a mode of transportation in the form of trucks. There are two types of trucks that be used, it are dump trucks and non-dump trucks. Non-dump trucks, the process of unloading material is used manually technique, using human power. In the unloading process, problems in the form of work postures were found to have the potential to cause musculoskeletal disorders. The method used in this study to analyze the working conditions using RULA. The results of measurements using the RULA method obtained a final score in the process of lifting the material, the maximum score is 7. Meanwhile, in the process of lifting stone material for transfer or unloading, the final score is 7. So it was concluded that the activity process has the potential to affect the health of workers. and further investigation and improvement of work processes are required as soon as possible.

Abstract

Manajemen jasa adalah salah satu yang menentukkan keberhasilan suatu industri jasa atau pelayanan. Pelabuhan Penumpang Gapura Surya Nusantara merupakan terminal penumpang yang ada di pelabuhan Tanjung Perak, Surabaya. Dengan mempunyai pasar yang cukup besar dan menjadi tempat untuk menghubungkan beberapa daerah melalui transportasi laut yang ada di Indonesia, membuat Pelabuhan Penumpang Gapura Surya Nusantara  mempunyai aktivitas pelayanan kepelabuhanan yang cukup padat di setiap harinya. Semakin padatnya aktivitas pelabuhan maka semakin banyak pula pelayanan yang akan diberikan pada konsumen. Oleh kerna itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan kualitas layanan yang baik dengan mengintegrasikan metode service quality dan Quality Function Deployment. Pada penelitian ini akan mengumpulkan sebanyak 60 sampel dan teknik yang digunakan adalah random sampling. Pengumpulan data untuk penelitian ini dilakukan melalui wawancara, kuesioner, dan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan pada metode servqual, diketahui nilai gap dari 21 atribut yang ada masih menunjukan nilai negatif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat gap pada atribut kualitas layanan tersebut. Selanjutnya, atribut yang memiliki pengaruh paling dominan terhadap kepuasan konsumen adalah atribut X2 (kebersihan ruang tunggu dan fasilitas yang ada) dengan nilai NRW sebesar 7,20%. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menyarankan untuk Pelabuhan Penumpang Gapura Surya Nusantara Tanjung Perak agar perusahaan perlu lebih memperhatikan fasilitas pelayanan yang inginkan oleh konsumen pada setiap atributnya terutama pada atribut yang memberikan nilai gap negatif terbesar.Kata kunci: Service Quality, Quality Function Deployment (QFD)

Abstract

Explosives come from natural resources, which were initially just ordinary materials or compounds where humans did not yet know the elements, functions, and effects. With time, humans conducted research when they saw the reactions arising from natural chemical reduction's effects. This research developed as a refinement of explosive products from time to time according to the functions and benefits for the benefit of the development of a region or country. International crime has become a threat to countries around the world. The development of technology and the flow of information resulted in a new order of life in various dimensions. The circulation of weapons or conventional explosives that weapons manufacturers have made is in great demand by many countries, including the Indonesian nation, as a tool used and used by the TNI to maintain security and maintain the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Adopting these problems, further research can be carried out on expired/failed explosives to be reused for their functions. The extermination that has been carried out so far poses a risk to the environment and living things. The use of explosives using the sloping and molding method designed with FAST and HIRADC in mind is expected to provide a solution to minimize risks to both the environment and living creatures around it.

Abstract

Kualitas dari suatu produk yang dihasilkan merupakan salah satu faktor penentu minat bagi konsumen, sehingga perusahaan dituntut untuk mampu memberikan yang terbaik dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan konsumen. Dalam pengendalian kualitas produksi, PT. XYZ telah menetapkan target produk reject ≤ 2% dari total hasil produksi. Tetapi pada kenyataannya rata-rata produk reject adalah 2,99%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat cacat produk apakah masih berada dalam batas kendali atau tidak. Dengan menggunakan metode Statistical Process Control (SPC) dapat diketahui bahwa cacat produk yang terjadi tidak dalam kondisi yang terkendali. Identifikasi penyebab terjadinya cacat menggunakan diagram fishbone didapatkan 4 faktor penyebab yaitu Method, Material, Machine dan Man. Sedangkan dengan menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), dapat diketahui prioritas perbaikan untuk mengurangi cacat produk tersebut diantaranya yaitu dengan mengeksplor pemasok lokal maupun import untuk pemenuhan bahan baku yang sesuai, membuat jadwal preventive maintenance, melakukan proses kalibrasi/verifikasi alat.

Abstract

Even though good regulations and work procedures have been made, the Zero Lost Time Injury program and the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE), work risks and accidents still occur in the production division of PT. XYZ. The purpose of this research is to identify the dangers arising from work accidents and to know the risks of work accidents and the hazards and their impacts. HIRARC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control) method. by identifying risks, how to assess risk control risk. Data collection is carried out by field observations, interviews, and analysis of standard operating procedure documents. Accident risks and dangers are found in many activities in transportation and unloading of materials, activities for determining finish good into drums, unloading filter paper activities, there are many risks of accidents and hazards including: material fall, being hit by raw material, pinched feet when unloading etc. The impacts include: Minor Injury, P.A.K, Permanent Disability, Major Material Losses, and even Fatality. Strict action against workers who violate regulations and do not use PPE according to standards.

Abstract

Heavy equipment sales PT. ABC, especially in the East Kutai area, has not experienced a significant increase. The purpose of this study is to determine strategies for increasing sales of heavy equipment units  and spare parts in the customer area of  PT.OPQ  and PT. XYZ site Kutai Timur. The strategy innovation developed first is analyzed with a SWOT approach and then provides solutions through design thinking. The results showed that the company's position was in quadrant 3 of the SWOT analysis which advocated a change in strategy. The right strategy to be implemented by PT. ABC Site Bengalon-Kutai Timur against PT. XYZ  was obtained through design thinking, namely the implementation of the GREAT (Gain, Resilient, Excellence, Agile, Totality) prototype AHEMCE Collaborative Support to ensure the victory of business transformation on customer goals. The focus in this GREAT prototype is Digital adaptation for increased productivity, funding readiness, proper maintenance planning, cross-industry support and workforce development. After PT. XYZ  implemented the  GREAT prototype from PT. ABC, there was an increase in revenue or sales revenue of heavy equipment units by 68% and. a 121% increase in spare part or product support sales revenue. In addition to the increase in revenue, there was an increase in Physical Availability (PA) of 93% with a BUS value: 54.13%; BS: 45.87%.Keywords: Strategy, Heavy Equipment Sales, SWOT Analysis, Design Thinking, Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

Facility layout is an important thing that must be managed effectively and efficiently in order to produce optimal material handling costs. UD Karya Abadi is a manufacturing industry engaged in the manufacture of pans. The long-distance of materials movement is an obstacle during the production process. The distance of the material in carrying out the transfer will affect the total costs required in the production process. Facility layout design is carried out by paying attention to material handling distances and relationships between departments. The from to chart method is used to determine the smallest number of product moments that can be designed in an industrial layout. This research resulted in a decrease in product moment of 2840.181 from 4769.059 to 1928.878. The decrease in the product moment means that the material movement becomes smaller, so it can increase production capacity due to the smaller operator movements. This research resulted in a proposed layout for a new production facility and lowered material handling costs.Keywords: From to Chart, Layout, UD Karya Abadi

Abstract

Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Sokaraja Tengah merupakan satu dari banyaknya fasilitas Pendidikan yang memiliki bangunan sisi barat dan timur. Perbedaan yang dapat terlihat yaitu jumlah vegetasi pada sisi barat lebih sedikit dibanding sisi timur. Hal ini menyebabkan adanya perbedaan intensitas panas matahari yang masuk dalam ruang kelas Hasil pengukuran temperatur udara dan berkisar antara 28,8°C-29,2°C dengan kelembaban mencapai 75,5%, berarti melebihi batas nyaman yang ditetapkan berdasarkan SNI yaitu 18°C-26°C. Perlu dilakukan analisis tentang tingkat kenyamanan pada ruang kelas untuk mengetahui usulan perbaikan fasilitas pada sekolah ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PMV dan PPD serta persepsi siswa terhadap kenyamanan termal ruang kelas. Hasil PMV masuk kategori slightly warm, PPD kelas sisi barat sebesar 36% dan kelas sisi timur sebesar 22,5%. Kuesioner persepsi siswa pada sisi barat sebesar 42% tidak nyaman dan sisi timur sebesar 32% tidak nyaman secara termal. Usulan yang diberikakan seperti penambahan vegetasi hingga perawatan kipas angin. Kata kunci: kenyamanan termal, persepsi siswa, PMV, PPD

Abstract

UD Gajah Delta is a familly business managed by a husband and wife in the city of Sidoarjo, East Java. This trading business was started in the 2000s and still survives today. One of UD Gajah Delta's strategies to survive today is to maintain quality and pay attention to every detail of the voice of the customer. In fulfilling the demand for pans, meatball boilers, rice boilers, and soup bowls, UD has 3 factories and dozens of employees who help with the production process. Besides that, to help the success of the production process, there are various types of machines such as cutting machines, press machines, press roll machines, and punch machines. In order to maximize the production process at UD Gajah Delta, it is necessary to calculate the need for raw materials and the number of machines used to assist the production process. Calculating the need for raw materials and machines used can use the method of operation process chart (OPC) and multi product process chart (MPPC). Abstract

Air Mineral dalam kemasan merupakan air yang mengandung bahan-bahan larut lain dan memberi nilai-nilai lain yang di kemas dalam bentuk ekonomis dan menarik. Semakin berkembangnya persaingan semakin banyak pula Merk Air Mineral di pasaran. Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis strategi menggunakan metode Markov chain dan game theory. Metode ini dapat menemukan strategi yang kompetitif sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan dan menemukan strategi baru untuk bertahan di pasar. Terdapat empat merk yang digunakan untuk membangun matriks matriks dan game theory.Dari hasil analisis Markov Chain maka di temukan bahwa rata-rata waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk state A (Aqua) berpindah ke state L (Le Mineral) adalah sebesar 8 periode (bulan), dan rata-rata waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk state C (Club) berpindah ke state L (Le Mineral ) adalah sebesar dua periode (bulan). Dan untuk hasil Game Theory perbandingan Aqua vs Nestle Di peroleh strategi optimal bagi Aqua, yaitu Strategi X2 (Desain) dan Strategi X4 (warna) dengan besar permainan (value of games) sebesar -11 yang artinya keuntugan terbesar bagi Aqua adalah -11 sedangkan bagi Nestle Di peroleh strategi optimal, yaitu Strategi Y2 (Desain) dan Strategi Y4 (warna) dengan besar permainan (value of games) sebesar -11 yaitu kerugian terkecil bagi nestle adalah -11. Untuk perbandingan Aqua vs Le Mineral di peroleh strategi optimal yaitu 24 dengan menggunakan streategi murni yang artinya keuntungan terbesar bagi Aqua adalah 24 dan kerugian terkecil bagi nestle adalah 24.
