Abstract

The Purwodadi - Nongkojajar road section is one of the East Java Province roads in UPT PJJ Probolinggo, which received funding from the Regional Road Grant Program (PHJD). From the results of the road condition survey in 2020, the condition of road damage in the form of holes and hair cracks was obtained. Based on this, it was necessary planning the thickness of the re-pavement or overlay. This program begins with inventory and road condition, topographic and soil investigation surveys. From the results of the topographic survey, we can measure the slope, then we conduct an investigative survey using Benkelman-beam deflection measure tool to determine the back- deflection value. References and secondary data of traffic growth and road class data are collected. The thickness of the pavement was calculated using the MDP 2017 method. This research found that the required layer was AC-WC layer with an expected thickness of 4 cm. Due to the uneven condition of the existing road, an additional leveling layer AC-BC was needed to overcome this condition with a thickness of 3.0 cm.

Abstract

The rate of population growth in urban areas is increasing year by year, so that changes in land use will accompany it and have an impact on reducing catchment areas. One of the problems that arise is flooding or inundation. In addition to providing inadequate catchment areas, the existing urban drainage system often does not function optimally with various technical and non-technical problems. One of the urban areas experiencing a similar situation is Ponorogo City, Ponorogo Regency. In some areas of the city, there are still frequent flooding/inundation. For example, in the Ponorogo Regency Government Center, especially around Aloon City. This problem is the background of this study. The results of the study show that the planned flood discharge with a return period of 10 years, which was analyzed based on the modified Rational method, was 0.899 m3/s. Based on data from observations of the existing drainage system, the channel capacity analyzed by the Maning method is only 0.471 m3/sec. Thus the channel capacity needs to be increased. By widening the rectangular base of the channel from 1 m wide to 1.50 m, the channel capacity becomes 0.925 m3/s, so that it can serve according to the planned flood discharge. In addition to increasing the channel capacity, based on observations in the field, it is also necessary to immediately carry out maintenance and repair work on the existing drainage system, so that the function of the channel can be optimal. It is necessary to study the plan to construct infiltration wells in the study area.

Abstract

Landslides can occur due to decreased slope stability due to soil degradation and rock degradation making up the slopes. The problem of land mass movement occurred in the Bts. Kota Batu - Bts. Kab. Kediri Road (Link 187) Ngroto Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency, precisely at KM Mlg 31+350. This study is to determine the cause of the landslide on the Bts. Kota Batu - Bts. Kab. Kediri (Link 187) KM Mlg 31+350 and to find out the appropriate handling method to overcome the landslide. The factors causing landslides were analyzed from various sides as follows: due to existing conditions, due to changes in land use, topographic conditions, and geological conditions. The selection of the handling method, according to the situation and conditions in the field, is the use of a masonry retaining wall structure, the application of sheet piles, the handling of groundwater around the landslide area, and the normalization of rivers.

Abstract

Environmental pollution is one of the world's problems that is in the spotlight and can be related to all aspects, one of which is social inequality and also economic problems. To solve this problem, the United Nations together with UN member countries created sustainable development goals, which have 17 goals and 169 main targets and are expected to be fully realized by 2030. One of the sustainable development goals that is the focus of attention is goal number 9 on infrastructure. , industry, and innovation. Based on these reasons, this paper will discuss sustainable architecture with reviews of various existing studies as one of the efforts to support and fulfill aspects of the Sustainable Development Goals themselves. In the discussion of this paper, the author focuses on the innovation of multifunctional public infrastructure with land use and energy efficiency as a solution to existing social problems. With this research, it is proven that the use of sustainable architecture can be a solution in overcoming the problems of land use and energy efficiency

Abstract

The Puspa Agro central business market was built to increase the food supply as well as shortened the supply chain to elevate the farmer income and in the large scale escalating the economic growth of East Java Province. Meanwhile, the central market operational activity did not work as expected as planned and the government initiates to upgrading the accessibility toward the Puspa Agro central market by constructing a new road connecting with the toll road directly the arterial road. The main purpose of this research is to evaluate the location of Puspa Agro central business market using the center gravity model. The research shows that the location of Puspa Agro central business market is not fulfilling the requirement based on the 3 (three) approach which are the location of people an d goods mobility, the location of agriculture production such as, fishery, fruit and vegetables and the number of the population of the nearest city. The three alternates location is proposed, at Waru and Candi districts in Sidoarjo City and near the Pasuruan City. The alternate location must be considered to rise the central business market income since the existing location was not fully capable to achieve the trading transaction.

Abstract

The evaluation of customer satisfaction becomes a vital aspect for investigating the satisfaction level of customer toward the parking service at Tulangan New Market. This research aimed at improving the service quality and performance of parking facilities at Tulangan New Market. It also intended for investigating the characteristic of customer who frequently use the parking facilities. To ease the data analysis, the researcher used Important Perfomance Analysis (IPA) method. The assessment upon 60 respondent concerning the satisfaction and interest was portrayed in quadrant 1, whereas quadrant 2 only had 1 point of questionnaire instrument. Quadrant 3 in the cartesian diagram only gained 2 questionnaire instrument and quadrant 4 had 8 questionnaire instrument. Accordingly, the respondents were satisfied with the performances of 8 questionnaire instrument because quadrant 4 earned the most points. The conclusion, the customers of parking felt satisfied with existing service of parking facility.
