Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the knowledge factor, economic factor, trust factor, mass media or information factor, promiscuity factor, and health service availability factor that causes early marriage in Pelat Village, UnterIwes District. This research is an exploratory, descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was 130 people, and the number of samples was 57 people by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used interview techniques, filling out questionnaires, and literature studies. The analytical test used is a descriptive analysis of percentage and univariate. The results showed that 39 respondents (68%) married with good knowledge, and 18 respondents (32%) married with less knowledge. Almost 14 respondents (25%) chose to do early marry because of economic factors, and 43 respondents (75%) married not economic factors. Therefore, 17 respondents ( 30%) answered to do early married because of their beliefs and 40 respondents (70%) not causing the beliefs factor. Then, 40 respondents (70%) married because mass media and information influenced them, 17 respondents (30%) married because they were not affected by mass media and news. Then, 42 respondents (74%) married due to the negative impact, 15 respondents (26%) married because of the positive impact. Lastly, 49 respondents (86%) had received health information, and 8 respondents (14%) did not receive health information use of mass media in their teenagers. Teenagers are more concerned about socializing, so they must be wise in using mass media under their parent's control.

Abstract

Malaria is an infectious disease caused by the protozoan Plasmodium parasite and transmitted through the bite of the Anopheles mosquito. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of malaria in Kerekeh Village, Unter Iwes District, Sumbawa Regency in 2021. This research method is a quantitative study with a research design cross sectional. The sample in this study were 85 respondents in Kerekeh Village, Unter Iwes District, Sumbawa Regency. The results of the univariate analysis were obtained from the incidence of Malaria suffering from Malaria as many as 20 respondents (23.0%), good knowledge as many as 25 respondents (28.7%), the work of respondents who worked as many as 46 respondents (52.9%), Habit of using insect repellent 3 respondents (3.4%), Habit of using mosquito nets 37 respondents (42.5%). From the results of thetest, chi square it known is that there is no relationship between knowledge and the incidence of malaria, the value of X2 count (0.177) < X2 table (3.841) or p count (0.647) > p table (0.05), there is no relationship between work and the incidence malaria value X2 count (0.086) < X2 table (3.841) or p count (0.769) > p table (0.05), there is no relationship between the habit of using mosquito repellent with the incidence of malaria value p (0.0548) > p table (0.05), there is a relationship between the habit of using mosquito nets with the incidence of malaria, the value of X2 count (0,11,243) > X2 table (3.841)

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is an infectious disease of the dengue virus which is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito and is still one of the health problems that has an increasing number of cases every year. The high incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is due to the lack of prevention efforts made by the community. The research has aim to determine the relationship between community behavior and efforts to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in the working area of ​​the UPT Puskesmas Sumbawa District Unit II. This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional research design and sampling technique using simple random sampling with a sample of 82 respondents. Data analysis using SPSS version 16.0 with test analysis Spearman Ranks. The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents had enough behavior as much as 42 respondents (51.2%) and the majority of respondents who have prevention efforts are in the sufficient category as many as 45 respondents (54.9%). Bivariate results using test Rank Spearman stated that there was a significant relationship between community behavior and efforts to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever with a p-value 0.00 (p-value < 0.01). So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between community behavior and efforts to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in the work area of ​​the UPT Puskesmas Sumbawa District Unit II.

Abstract

Ibu bersalin dapat berganti posisi secara teratur selama persalinan kala II karena hal ini sering kali mempercepat kemajuan persalinan dan ibu dapat meneran secara efektif pada posisi tertentu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan posisi miring dan setengah duduk pada kala II persalinan terhadap percepatan persalinan ibu multi gravida di BPM Ely Farida. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan menggunakan pendekatan countorbalanced. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April - Agustus 2021. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu ibu multi gravida di BPM Elly farida dengan sampel berjumlah 20 responden yang dibagi menjadi dua grup. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan análisis data yang digunakan adalah análisis statistik Man Whitney.  Hasil penenlitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata lamanya kala II pada kelompok posisi miring adalah 45,60 menit,  sedangkan nilai rata-rata lamanya kala II pada kelompok setengah duduk adalah 50,70 menit dengan perbedaan nilai rata-rata 5 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tidak terdapat perbedaan posisi meneran miring dan setengah duduk dengan nilai p= 0,146; α>0,05 artinya tidak ada perbedaan rata-rata lama kala II baik menggunakan posisi miring maupun setengah duduk pada kala II persalinan  terhadap percepatan persalinan ibu multi gravida di BPM Ely Farida. Kepada praktisi pelayanan kebidanan agar mampu memberikan dukungan fisik dan emosional dalam persalinan termasuk memberikan kesempatan kepada ibu untuk memilih posisi yang nyaman dan aman bagi dirinya.

Abstract

Peer education is a process of communication, information,  and education (KIE) conducted by peers and for the peers themselves. The purpose of this study is the known influence of Peer Education Method in Improving Genetalia Personal Hygiene Behavior in Young Women in Pungka Village. The type and design of the research is quasi experiment using pretest-posttest with control group design. This research was conducted in June 2021. The population in this study was young women in Pungka village with a sample of 50  respondents divided into two groups. Analysis of the data used is univariate and ancova to determine the influence of interventions. The results showed there is a meaningful average difference in knowledge variables with a value of p = 0.003; α < 0.05 which means that there is an influence of peer education in improving the behavior of personal hygiene genetalia young women in Pungka Village by controlling the influence of pretest covariate. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of peer education in improving the behavior of personal hygiene genetalia young women in Pungka Village.

Abstract

Family Planning (KB) is an attempt to distance or plan the number and distance of pregnancy by using contraception. The results of a preliminary study conducted at plampang district health center in January-March 2020 as many as 103 respondents.From the data researchers interviewed as many as 39 respondents and found problems that occurred in plampang district health center that is delayed menstruation for 6 months to 1 year due to using injectable birth control 3 months. The purpose of this study was to see if there was a relationship in the duration of use of injection control 3 months to menstrual disorders. The method used in research is descriptive analytics with a cross sectional approach using primary and secondary data.The results of the study of 39 respondents of kb acceptors injected 3 months in UPT Puskesmas Plampang District in 2020 which was processed with SPSS 20 found 23 respondents with the use of injectable birth control 3 months with a long use of > 6 months found 16 (64.8%) respondents who experienced menstrual disorders while new use < 6 months there were as many as 7 (27.5%) respondents who experienced menstrual disorders that showed a significant relationship between the length of use of 3 months injectableKB against menstrual disorders in Plampang village of Plampang District of Sumbawa Regency with a value of p (sig)<a (0.303 < 0.05). Concluded that there is a relationship between the length of use of injectable birth control 3 months and menstrual disorders.

Abstract

The indirect cause of maternal death is being late in knowing the danger signs of pregnancy. To be able to anticipate this, an effort is needed to be able to recognize pregnancy complications or danger signs of pregnancy.  The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women about the danger signs of pregnancy and the use of KIA books in Dalam Village, Alas District, Sumbawa Regency in 2021.The research used is an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 121 pregnant women and the sample of pregnant women in this study was 55 respondents. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate using chi-square.The results showed that the use of KIA books had a p value of (0.020 < 0.05), meaning that there was a relationship between knowledge of pregnant women about the dangers of using KIA books in Dalam Village, Alas District, Sumbawa Regency in 2021. The conclusion of the research is the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women about the danger signs of pregnancy and the use of KIA books in Dalam Village, Alas District, Sumbawa Regency in 2021. It is recommended to further increase the knowledge of pregnant women about pregnancy danger signs and the use of KIA books is a strategy for community empowerment, especially families to maintain their health and get quality maternal and child health services.

Abstract

The most common causes of maternal death in NTB province in 2017 occurred when pregnant women were 17.65%, during childbirth 42.35%, and during childbirth by 40% (NTB Provincial Health Office, 2017). The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the reminder method using short message service (SMS) and the whatsapp application to improve antenatal visit compliance. This study uses observational data collection methods with research design is action or action research with the number of respondents 35 pregnant women. Data analysis uses interactive analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions according to Miles and Huberman (2015). The results of this study indicate that the adherence of pregnant women to antenatal visits in the first cycle there are 27 people (77.14%) obedient and 8 people (22.85%) not compliant by using the SMS application, while using the Whatsapp application there are 24 people (68 ,57%) complied and 11 people (31.42%) did not comply. In cycle II there were 35 people (100%) obedient by using the SMS application, while using the Whatsapp application there were 33 people (94.28%) obedient and 2 people (5.71%) not. This proves that the action research method is effective in using the reminder method with SMS and WhatsApp applications in improving antenatal visit compliance in the working area of the Lape Health Center, Lape sub-district.

Abstract

The level of patient satisfaction with hospital services in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic has not yet reached the minimum service standard.Hospital readiness and preparedness in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic are needed to achieve quality services so as to increase patient satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of community satisfaction with health workers for Covid 19 services in Sumbawa Regency in 2021. The type of research used was qualitative. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews. The informants in this study were Covid-19 patients. The results showed that the community was satisfied with the services provided by health workers in terms of service procedures, friendliness, comfort and discipline of health workers.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) and most often attacks the lungs. Tuberculosis is the leading infectious disease that causes death in the world. About 1.5 million people die every year from TB. The number of TB sufferers is 10 million per year and about 845 thousand of them are in Indonesia. This situation places Indonesia in the third position as the country with the highest TB incidence after India and China. Puskesmas and health human resources as the spearhead of health services, including those who have a high risk of being infected with the corona virus. The aim is to analyze the prediction of the incidence of Tuberculosis. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Research Results The number of cases of tuberculosis patients who were confirmed bacteriologically with AFB (+) and treated in 2015-2020 were 2,257 male cases and 1,314 female cases. Conclusion Prediction of the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in 2015-2020 most cases are male, 2015: 375 cases, 2016: 395 cases, 2017: 485 cases 2018: 408 cases, 2019: 451 cases, 2020 : 318 cases.
