Abstract

This study aims to determine how effective the implementation of Arabic learning, especially kitabah and mufradat by using the card short method in class X MA Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Gombara as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the realization of the Arabic learning process using the short card method. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research using two cycles. Data collection methods used are observation and tests with instruments of observation sheets and test of learning outcomes. The data analysis technique was carried out by comparing the results of the notes carried out by the researchers themselves with collaborators' notes with these comparisons.The results of this study indicate that the implementation of card short media in the learning of kitabah and mufradat in the MA Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Gombara South Sulawesi took place effectively. The supporting factors for the card short method are beautiful images and bright colors. Students are more happy in learning because the learning process using short card media invites students to learn while playing so students are not stressed by learning. The inhibiting factor is when learning takes place in the classroom becomes crowded because students play to find the meaning of the mufrodhat.Keywords: Card Short Method, Kitabah, Mufradat

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between the environment and learning activities with learning achievement in a process of learning Arabic students of VIII class in MTs Muhammadiyah Kampung Baru Bulukumba. The method used to collect research data was observation, questionnaires, documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicated that there was a correlation between the environment and learning activities to the level of learning achievement of Arabic students of VIII class in MTs Muhammadiyah Kampung Baru Bulukumba. Judging from the calculation of learning environment with learning activity, the result of signification is 0,212 0,05 with rhitung rtabel (at 5% = 0,392 and 1% = 0,515), that is; 0.553 0.392 / 0.515. Between learning environment with learning achievement seen from result of significance equal to 0,395 0,05 with rhitung rtabel (at 5% = 0,392 and 1% = 0,515), that is; 0.574 0.392 / 0.515. And there was a significant relationship between learning activities with learning achievement. Seen from the signification result of 0.335 0,05 with rhitung rtabel (at 5% = 0,392 and 1% = 0,515), that is; 0.697 0.392 / 0.515. Keywords: correlation, environment, activity, achievement

Abstract

AbstractThe concept of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL)  emphasizes on the  student activity, both physically and mentally. Contextual Teaching and Learning believe that learning is not just about  memorizing, , considering or remembering facts, demonstrating repetitious exercise but it is  a process of experience in real life  with the nature ( environment). Contextual Teaching and Learning in  Arabic teaching and learning process is believed to improve student’s  achievement in learning Arabic because they will get so much eager to learn or they will have the confidence to know something that has not been known so the pupils are not depressed  in teaching and learning process.Keywords: Activities, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Achievement AbstrakKonsep pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) menekankan pada aktivitas siswa secara penuh, baik fisik maupun mental. Contextual Teaching and Learning memandang bahwa belajar bukanlah kegiatan menghafal, mengingat fakta-fakta, mendemonstrasikan latihan secara berulang-ulang semata akan tetapi proses berpengalaman dalam kehidupan nyata di alam terbuka. Contextual Teaching and Learning dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab diyakini dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dalam belajar bahasa Arab karena peserta didik semakin bersemangat belajar ataupun mempunyai kepercayaan diri untuk mengetahui sesuatu yang belum diketahui sehingga membuat peserta didik tidak tertekan dalam proses belajar mengajar.Kata Kunci: Aktifitas, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Prestasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the 2013 curriculum to learning Arabic and the effect of the 2013 curriculum on learning Arabic in class VII students of Islamic Boarding School Ummul Mukminin Aisyiah.The research method used is a quantitative method. Data collection is done by means of observation, tests and documentation. This population as many as 115 students while the sample class VII A as an experimental class with a total of 38 students and class VII C as a control class with a total of 38 students students.The results of the study can be seen that the application of the 2013 curriculum has been applied regularly and well only needs to be developed later through inferential statistical testing namely by using the t test. Then obtained ttable = 1.67. So tcount ttable (8.53 1.67). so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that reading skills by memorizing students in the presence of a pretest compared to students without a pretest is very influential in improving Arabic language learning.Keywords: 2013 curriculum, improvement of learning

Abstract

This study aims to describe the method of Pengajian Kitab Kuning that applied at the Salafiyah Darul Muttaqin Pesantren Mannanti. This research is a qualitative research. Data were collected through interviews with Kyai or leaders of Pesantren and Ustadz. The location of the study took place at the Salafiyah Darul Muttaqin Mannanti Islamic Boarding School in Sinjai Regency, South Sulawesi Province. This study found that the method applied in the Darul Muttaqin Mannanti Islamic Boarding School was (1)The Sorogan Method or the Wetonan Method, that the students proposed one of the books to study which was submitted to the ustadz to be studied by the students and translated later, after that the Ustadz listened and corrected the reading from incorrect translation of the students. (2)Method of Deliberation and discussion of Masa'il namely the method of discussion or seminar, (3)The Halaqah Method which is gathering students with teacher centred learning. (4)The memorization method is a method that is centred on memorization. The opportunity factor for the Salafiyah Darul Muttaqin Mannanti Islamic boarding school is its geographical condition which is located on the district axis road and can be reached with all types of transportation. The pesantren also has an empowerment program in the fields of agriculture, livestock and trade. As for the challenges faced, there are lacks of learning facilities and infrastructure, especially in the learning facilities which are still very simple including the female dormitory facilities which are still made of wood.Keywords: Method, Pengajian Kitab, Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

AbstractEvery people basically has the ability to master every language, even in different levels and drives. While the differences are:  the teaching objectives to be achieved, basic skill , self motivation, and interest and persistence. Therefore, to achieve Arabic language ability easily, it needs some innovation in Arabic language teaching and learning process. The innovation in the teaching Arabic language process is by using technology that is growing rapidly this present. The utilization of technology in foreign language learning especially Arabic language will change the academic conditions which be held so far. With this technology, the conditions that are closed and has become such a custom  which passed down from generation to generation or hereditary will be eliminated or even disappear and it can be replaced by conditions that are transparent, open, and the process of continuous learning evaluation. Some examples the use of technology in the teaching Arabic language that we can see this present is through the internet media, such as how to learn Arabic grammar, and how to improve reading and understanding, listening , speaking, and writing skills.Keywords: Inovation, learning, arabic language AbstrakSetiap anak manusia pada dasarnya mempunyai kemampuan untuk menguasai setiap bahasa, walaupun dalam kadar dan dorongan yang berbeda. Adapun diantara perbedaan-perbedaan tersebut adalah tujuan-tujuan pengajaran yang ingin dicapai, kemampuan dasar yang dimiliki, motivasi yang ada di dalam diri, minat serta ketekunannya. Oleh karena itu, untuk mencapai kemampuan bahasa Arab dengan mudah, dibutuhkan inovasi dalam proses pengajaran bahasa Arab. Adapun inovasi dalam pengajaran bhaasa Arab dewasa ini yaitu pemanfaatan teknologi yang sedang berkembang pesat saat ini. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran bahasa asing, khususnya bahasa Arab tanpa disadari akan mengubah kondisi akademik yang berjalan selama ini. Dengan teknologi ini kondisi-kondisi yang sifatnya tertutup dan telah menjadi tradisi yang diwariskan secara turun temurun menjadi tersingkirkan atau bahkan lenyap dan digantingan oleh kondisi-kondisi yang bersifat transparan, terbuka, serta adanya proses evaluasi pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan. Adapun contoh pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab yang bisa kita lihat saat ini yaitu melalui media internet, diantaranya bagaimana cara belajar tata bahasa Arab, dan bagaimana cara peningkatan kemampuan membaca dan memahami, mendengarkan, berbicara, serta menulis.Kata Kunci: inovasi, pembelajaran, bahasa Arab

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1). Untuk mengetahui model program intensif pembinaan bahasa Arab siswa kelas XII Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Gombara. 2). Untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa Arab siswa kelas XII Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Gombara. 3). Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembinaan bahasa Arab dalam program intensif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa Arab siswa kelas XII Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Gombara.Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara serta dokumentasi. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 62 siswa, dengan sampel 10 orang siswa.Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Model program intensif pembinaan bahasa Arab siswa kelas XII Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Gombara diadakan setiap hari sabtu setelah magrib sampai sebelum magrib, dengan mekanisme siswa menginap di ma’had Al-Birr selama program berlangsung, adapun mata pelajaran yang diajarkan yaitu Al-Arabiyah, At-tadribat, dan hifdzul mufradat. 2). Faktor pendukung dan penghambat peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa Arab siswa kelas XII Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Gombara a). Faktor pendukung: Siswanya tinggal asrama sehingga mudah untuk mengikuti program pembinaan, Siswa adalah orang yang benar-benar ingin diajar, Lingkungan pesantren yang membantu program pembinaan, Adanya laboratorium bahasa, Banyaknya buku rujukan, Pembina pesantren sangat menginginkan adanya alumni yang bisa lanjut ke timur tengah sehingga dia mengadakan program pembinaan tersebut b). Faktor penghambat: Tenaga pengajar kurang, Alat peningkatan bahasa kurang memadai, Kurangnya dana, kurangnya siswa yang mengaplikasikan bahasanya, Jarak antara pondok dan Ma’had Al-birr sangat jauh. 3). Pengaruh pembinaan bahasa Arab dalam program intensif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa Arab siswa kelas XII Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Gombara makassar sangat baik, dengan bukti 6 orang siswa mendapat nilai A (tinggi), dan 3 orang siswa mendapat nilai B (sedang), dan 1 orang siswa mendapat nilai C (rendah). Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa ada pengaruh yang positif terhadap siswa dengan diadakannya program intensif pembinaan bahasa Arab. Kata Kunci: Program intensif, Pembinaan, Kemampuan Berbahasa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di SMP Unismuh, untuk mengetahui antusiasme siswa dalam  pengunaan media audio visual dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di SMP Unismuh dan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pengunaan media audio visual dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di SMP Unismuh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu yang bersumber dari angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi guna memperoleh informasi yang betul-betul akurat dan dapat dipertanggung jawabkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di SMP Unismuh Makassar cukup bagus karena guru yang mengajar di sekolah tersebut sudah mahir dalam berbahasa Arab. Kedua: Antusiasme siswa kelas VIII dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Arab setelah digunakan media audio visual sangat bagus karena siswa sangat menyukai pembelajaran bahasa Arab menggunakan media audio visual. Ketiga: Efektifitas pengunaan media audio visual dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di SMP Unismuh Makassar sangat bagus karena menunjang minat belajar peserta didik, dimana peserta didik bisa belajar sambil bernyanyi.Kata kunci : Media, Audio Visual, Peningkatan, Bahasa Arab

Abstract

Junior High school Muhammadiyah of Makassar is an educational institution under the Muhammadiyah Primary and Secondary Education Council which always tries to motivate students to learn. Teachers in Junior High school Muhammadiyah of Makassarhave a duty and role to be able to improve student learning motivation. Teachers are required to have and master techniques and strategies that can stimulate students in learning, especially Arabic subjects. Therefore, this study tries to explore the effect of teacher teaching methods on the learning achievement of Arabic students atJunior High school Muhammadiyah of Makassar. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research by observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires as data collection techniques, data analysis techniques use a simple percentage formula. The student population is 76 people with a total sample of 35% of the total population of 35 students. The results of this study indicate the effect of teacher teaching methods on learning achievement of Arabic students atJunior High school Muhammadiyah of Makassar has been effective, this can be seen from the results of questionnaire calculations that students who feel very happy there are 9 students or 25.71%, who love 24 students or 68, 57%, less happy 2 students or 5.71% and not happy as much as 0%.Keywords: Influence, method, learning achievement

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the errors occurred in designing of Arabic learning media, covering the errors in both terms of language and in terms of learning media itself. This research was purposed at V (fifth) semester students of Arabic language study program of academic year 2016-2017 who are in the process of becoming prospective teacher of Arabic language. The methods used in order to collect data related to the problems were semi-structured interviews and in-depth observation. Interview was addressed to the students, while in-depth observation was used to observe the Arabic learning media made by the students. The results of this study indicated that the types of language errors made by students in the medium of learning Arabic language, including the level of error writing or harokat for example, error of pronunciation ةٌin ةٌَزِطَال word should be / /ًَزِطَال , misuse of the form of the word example, in the form of the word العظم not be found the same word form in Arabic, misuse of sentence order for example in the word واحد الظاع which should use pattern and form of character and mausuf, where the second word followed the first word pattern both in terms of its kind and its ta'rif ( الواحد الظاع ) and errors on the meaning of the word for example, durian images to describe the word بابايا . Meanwhile, if viewed from the aspect of performance, language errors could be categorized on misformation and misordering. Keywords: error in language, media, learning
