Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems faced by PT.Bukit Asam Tbk. which is constrained by a decrease in productivity on the unloading path of the RCD 3 system, precisely in the quadrol crusher unit.The purpose of this study is to improve the capacity of the quadrol crusher by modifying the cv 501 a chute declector unit into a sizing screen (coal separator unit) so that the loading rate can be obtained in the design capacity. And the methodology used in this study is a fishbone method and pareto chart. Based on the results of research conducted using the fishbone method and pareto chart, it is known that the most dominant factors causing the decreasing working capacity of the rcd 3 unloading path are method and machine factors. And the conclusion of this research exhibited the fishbone method and pareto chart is by only modifying the cv 501 a chute deflector into a sizing screen that only costs a small modification, then PT. Bukit Asam Tbk will get the opportunity to re-optimize the rcd 3 unloading path near capacity design in order to increase profits for the company

Abstract

This study discusses the use of fly ash waste from coal burning on the manufacture of PCC (Portland composite cement) at PT. XYZ Lampung. The purpose of this research is to look at the technical studies and the efficiency of raw materials in the use of fly ash in cement making, in this case PCC cement (Portland Composite Cement). The steps taken in analyzing the data in this study were viewed from a technical aspect by means of a physical test, namely the cement compressive strength test at the age of 3 days, 7 days, and 28 days using the Compression Testing Machine. This test was conducted to see the comparison of the compressive strength of PCC cement using limestone and fly ash as raw materials, then calculate the difference in raw material costs in the year before and after the replacement of limestone with fly ash. The results showed that cement with the addition of fly ash after 3 days, 7 days and 28 days had an increased compressive strength value, which increased 21.69%, 16.07% and 8.05% respectively of the compressive strength of cement using limestone. The use of fly ash as a substitute for limestone has an effect on the cost of raw materials, where the difference between the cost of raw materials in 2019 and the cost of raw materials in 2018 is Rp. 39,440,952,074.

Abstract

The current supply chain is very much less vulnerable to uncertainty and risks that can disrupt the supply chain which can lead to losses in the form of income, competitive advantage and profits if not managed effectively. Supply chain risk management is the management of supply chains through coordination or collaboration between supply chain partners to ensure profitability and continuity. PT. XYZ is a company that focuses on printer and parts distributors. PT.XYZ's activities which are always in touch with suppliers, consumers and management between the center and branches have various kinds of risks, which can cause the company not to achieve the desired target. This study aims to identify supply chain risks at PT. XYZ using the ISO 31000: 2009 framework and how mitigation solutions are carried out to reduce existing risks. The results of this study indicate that 20 risk indications have been evaluated. The identification is classified into 7 risk categories, namely operational, supply, demand, information, policy, product and finance. Based on the risk analysis, it is known that the risk occurs in operations. Operational risk is related to the ability of employees to offer products and has an impact on the level of company revenue and the lack of a procurement workforce resulting in difficulties in fulfilling the demand for each branch.

Abstract

Companies engaged in the field of product sales or distribution services, definitely want success in their activities in the future. This shows that every company always strives to continue to be able to develop in its business field in the future. Forecasting is a method for estimating a value in the future by using past data. Forecasting can also be interpreted as an art and science to predict future events. Researchers conducted a study by taking a location in PT Trijaya Tirta Dharma bottled water company. The author discusses forecasting sales of 240ml bottled water using two methods, namely Single Moving Average and Exponential Smoothing. The author compares the smallest error rate, the forecasting method chosen is Exponential Smoothing. For the Exponential Smoothing method, the results obtained using alpha 0.2 are for February of 195,767, March 197905, April 199,527, May 213,661, June 227,287, July 238,295, August 246,234, September 263,600, October 256,923, November 266,857, December 238,762. Then the forecast is MFE 22466,593, MAD 22466.593, MSE 55522225874, MAPE 2%.

Abstract

The price of chicken eggs continue to fluctuate up and down where feed prices tend not to rise. This is an interesting phenomenon to be examined. The purpose of this study is to analyze Pak Rajiman's chicken farming business that has been running for 1 year, whether it is feasible or not to run. The data were taken from interviews and field observations in the form of livestock business financial data, starting from capital, production and receipt costs obtained for 1 year. The data were processed and analyzed by regression equations, Benefit/Cost (B/C) Ratio calculations and Break Even Points analysis. And there is a significant influence of feed prices with the quality of feed and egg production produced. And from the cost benefit analysis, the B/C value> 1 is obtained, then chicken farm is said to be feasible and Break Even Point (BEP) value at 4,193 kg of egg production, equivalent to 5.1 months.

Abstract

Formula milk production companies are faced with an optimal ordering control system. The availability of raw materials is a measure of the performance of the ordering system at a low cost. This research was conducted to determine the optimal order point with a minimum ordering cost. Ordering decision making is considered from company policy because of the budget. The results of this study indicate that the frequency of purchasing raw materials is 9 times the purchase of raw materials in one year period, 12 times a year of policy. The total purchase of raw material inventories was Rp. 48,671,774, and the policy was Rp. 50,765,157.35 per year. The savings in ordering costs amounted to Rp. 2,093,383.35. The reorder point is 5,634 pcs.

Abstract

Production scheduling is the most important part in carrying out the production process that will be carried out on a production floor. Scheduling activities are carried out before the production process begins to ensure the smooth running of the production process. If the production scheduling is not done properly, there will be obstacles in the production process and will cause losses to the company. This study aims to determine the production machine scheduling in a company engaged in the manufacture of spare parts for automotive products. This company implements a job shop production process and uses the First In First Out method in completing its work. Due to the large number of products that have to be produced, there are often two or more products that must be worked on at the same time and machine. This condition causes some products to have to wait for the associated machine to finish operating and causes long product turnaround times. This problem is solved by making a production machine scheduling using the Non-Delay method. By applying this method, the makespan of completion time can be minimized.

Abstract

This study discusses work posture analysis using the rapid upper limb assessment (RULA) method at Kerupuk Kemplang 32 Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Bumi Waras District, Bandar Lampung. The purpose of this study was to determine unsafe work postures for workers, and to minimize injuries to the skeletal system and nervous system caused by repetitive movements (Cumulative Trauma Disorders), how the influence of work attitudes or postures of workers and the workplace, provide recommendations for appropriate work postures. safe based on the upper limb assessment (RULA) method. This research is a descriptive study with data analysis using the RULA method. The data collection method uses primary data in the form of worker posture data which includes upper arms, forearms, wrists, hands, neck, back and legs. The results of this study indicate that the working posture of making kemplang cracker dough is divided into two activities, namely taking sago water and making the dough, both of which have a score of 7 which indicates Action Level 4 and the roasting section of kemplang crackers has the same score, 7 indicating Action Level 4. From these data, it can be concluded that this work posture needs to be improved in the near future.

Abstract

Abstract The strategy of developing kemplang cracker products in Dua Putri UMKM  sub-district of Bumi Waras, Bandar Lampung city is experiencing a high level of competition, the aim of this research is to produce a strategy that is in accordance with the conditions of the Dua Putri UMKM in developing a business, and to provide strategic input from the results of the research. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation, interviews and questionnaires then analysed by SWOT. It is known that the IFAS value is 3,36080 with a strength factor having a value of 2.51632 and a weakness of 0.84448 with a difference in value (+) of 1.67184. and the EFAS value is 2.82229 with the opportunity factor having a value of 2.30108 and the threat factor 0.52121 with the difference in value (+) 1.77987. This value indicates that the organization is experiencing a period of growth both in sales, taste, and price differences. UMKM two putri kemplang crackers are on average in her quest to pursue a strategy of exploiting strengths to overcome weaknesses. From the results of the Cartecius diagram, that kemplang cracker Dua Putri UMKM are in quadrant 1 (one), namely an aggressive strategy, where this UMKM is in a very favorable position, this UMKM has the opportunity and strength so that it can take advantage of the existing opportunities

Abstract

Time efficiency in production is very supportive of fulfilling consumer demand. The track balance problem can be solved by taking measurements first. This measurement aims to determine the parameters that cause an imbalance in the production line. The first step that needs to be done is measuring the track balance before optimization. Rank Postional Weight is heuristic’s systematic approach method is used to measure the balance of the car CVT belt production line in a grinding machine. The measurement results show that it is not good with a smothness index of 130.48 minutes, the product produced is only 97.5% of the set target, the performance of the work station is 80.56%. Improvements in several work stations in order to improve the balance of the trajectory, namely in visual checks, smoothing surfaces and shapes, measuring products by rearranging the order.
