Abstract

Parking problems greatly affect traffic flow, especially in crowded areas. Illegal parking occurs illegally or without an official permit from the local government, is not under the supervision or guidance of the district or city government, and the income from the parking is not paid to the government as regional revenue. Illegal parking in Cirebon City can be a problem because it does not comply with the applicable rules. The purpose of this study is to find out how parking arrangements are arranged from the perspective of policy and practice. This research method uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques carried out by researchers with observations, interviews, documents and legislation that are related to the problem being researched. The results of the study show that the problem of illegal parking occurs due to the number of parking lots that use the road body, because the lane that should be used for vehicle flow is instead used for parking. In practice, sometimes the enforcement of these rules is inconsistent due to the limitations of direct supervision. Even though the parking attendants were warned not to allow double parking and had been given guidance, violations still occurred. The conclusion of this study is that the problem of illegal parking lies in individuals' awareness of traffic rules and their discipline in obeying them.

Abstract

Public trust in the police is a problematic issue for modern police everywhere, including in Indonesia. The police agency needs a high level of trust to be able to carry out its duties and functions as the person in charge of social order and law in society. This study intends to examine the influence of performance effectiveness, procedural justice and social capital on public trust in the police in Central Jakarta. The survey was conducted to 400 respondents using the cluster purposive random sampling method at the sub-district level. The results showed that the performance effectiveness variable had a significant effect (0.275), the procedural justice variable had no significant effect, and the social capital variable had a significant effect (0.133). The awareness of the importance of trust has been observed by the National Police leadership since the National Police institution was officially separated from the ABRI. In this case, the National Police formulated a bi-annual Grand-Strategy covering the period 2005-2025, as a step to encourage systematic organizational change towards the National Police as a professional modern police force.

Abstract

In accordance with the provisions of Article 48 of Law Number 5 of 1986 concerning the State Administrative Court which has been last amended by Law Number 51 of 2009 concerning the Second Amendment of Law Number 5 of 1986 concerning the State Administrative Court ("Peratun Law") which states that not every State Administrative Decision (beschikking) as the object of the State Administrative dispute can be directly sued through the State Administrative Court, because if there are administrative remedies, the state administrative dispute must be resolved first through administrative efforts before being resolved through the State Administrative Court. This research uses a qualitative normative method, which is a process to find a legal rule, legal principles, and legal doctrines to answer the legal issues faced. The result of this study is that Sema No. 1 of 2017 has been affirmed through Perma No. 6 of 2018, thus according to the Court, as long as the administrative effort is intended to file a lawsuit to the PTUN or at least related to the procedural law of the PTUN, the word "can" must be interpreted as "mandatory" to take administrative efforts first. Then the PTUN plays a role in ensuring that law enforcement occurs effectively, by paying attention to the principles of justice and legal certainty that are the basis for every decision taken, and the PTUN plays the role of a court that has the authority to resolve state administrative disputes after the administrative efforts have been passed, in accordance with applicable regulations.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to understand the factors that affect employer branding, particularly in the context of Generation Z employees in startup companies. Startups have emerged as a prominent career option for Generation Z in the current globalization era, due to their innovative and dynamic work environments. The goal of this study is to determine which aspects of employer attractiveness align with the aspirations and values of Generation Z, specifically analyzing PT Eximku Teknologi Indonesia (Andalin). The study used a qualitative methodology, involving in-depth interviews with internal Andalin and external startup employees. The purpose of the data collection is to identify how employees vary in their responses to the various aspects of employer attractiveness, such as Social Value, Development Value, Application Value, Safety Value, and Economic Value. According to the study, Andalin employees are largely satisfied on most criteria except Economic Value, where some respondents believe their workload is not appropriately provided. External respondents are dissatisfied with most characteristics, except for social, developmental, and economic values, demonstrating a lack of organizational belonging and long-term job stability in startups. Notable results indicate that social media efficiently showcases the working environment to Generation Z and attracts their attention, demonstrating how it is so important for employer branding. Another suggested strategy to increase awareness of the company's culture, vision, mission, and core values of the company is to improve the career website. Furthermore, offering complimentary educational or developing skills courses is suggested as an efficient way of underlying continuous development within the organization, which results in attracting potential employees.
