Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived convenience towards attitude then influence the desire and intention to use online food delivery application. The data collection techmique method uses non probability sampling with purposive sampling with google form questionnaire. Data were collected form 210 respondents with criteria of having used online food delivery applications for at least the last three months. The questionnaire with google form which contains 21 statement indicators based on a five-point Likert scale. The analytical method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS). The result showed that perceived usefulness had a positive effect on attitude, perceived ease of use had a positive effect on attitude, but perceived convenience had no effect on attitude. Attitude then had positive effect on desire and desire had a positive effect on intention to use online food delivery. The managerial implication of this research is to evaluate the online food delivery application to continue to improve the usability and ease of application for customers.

Abstract

This research is aimed to analyze the influence of hedonic motivation, perception of online prices, access to information, and online trust towards attitude and purchase intention on e-commerce platform. This study used primary data in the form of questionnaires from 190 respondents which were distributed non-probabilistically to consumers who used e-commerce services more than three times in the last 6 months in the period Ocotber-November 2023. Hypothesis was analyzed with SEM using AMOS 21. Research finding shows that hedonic motivation, perception of online prices, access to infroamtion have positive effect on attitude. However, online trust does not have positive effect on attitude. Then, attitude has a positive effect on purchase intention. The managerial implication of this research is an evaluation for e-commerce to improve consumer attitudes and purchase intention.

Abstract

The evaluation was carried out to determine the skills of emergency response handling by public freight drivers to vehicle damage so that it can be used to improve the ability of public freight drivers to anticipate emergency response. Location of survey survey is in Jakarta and surrounding areas. The sampling technique used in this study is non probability sampling and Purposive Sampling. The study results showed that more than 50% of public freight drivers do all tasks of delivering goods such as driving, cleaning vehicles, maintaining vehicles, supervising the process of loading/unloading and maintaining cargo. The most common types of vehicle damage experienced by public freight drivers are broken tires, transmission system disturbances and brake system disturbances. Public freight drivers tend to repair damage from broken tires, transmission system disturbances, brake system disturbances themselves, whereas to repair damaged axles and engine damage, drivers tend to contact the nearest repair shop and/or contact the company. The evaluation results show the need to improve the driver's ability in emergency response related to vehicle conditions such as inspection of vehicle equipment, vehicle loading procedures, tire burst, transmission system disturbances, brake system disturbances.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of Big Five Personality traits and school climate on altruistic attitudes among junior high school students in Medan. Altruism, defined as selfless kindness, is crucial during adolescence, a transitional period marked by various changes. While foreign cultures and individualistic mindsets may hinder altruistic attitudes, teaching altruism from an early age is essential. The study aims to examine the impact of Big Five Personality traits (openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism) and school climate on altruistic attitudes. The research involves 728 students from three schools and utilizes scales for personality, school climate, and altruism. The results indicate that school climate significantly predicts altruism, contributing 32%, while Big Five Personality traits contribute 12%. Openness, agreeableness and neuroticism personality types, along with safety and academic dimensions of school climate, play a significant role. Although the joint influence is limited (13.2%), school climate emerges as a more dominant factor in shaping altruistic attitudes among junior high school students. The findings emphasize the importance of fostering a positive school climate to enhance altruistic behaviors.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyse the effect of intellectual capital consisting of Value Added Intellectual Capital (VAICTM) and financial performance proxied by Non Performing Loan (NPL), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return On Asset (ROA) on stock prices with company size as a moderating variable. The research data is secondary data with a 6-year observation period. The population in this research is banks classified as KBMI III and IV banks. The sampling method used is non-probability sampling, with the consideration that banks with KBMI III and IV categories are top-tier banks whose performance has a systemic impact. The data sample taken is 13 banks, in accordance with OJK-RI provisions. Data collection techniques through documentation using panel data regression analysis, namely Eviews13. The results of this study (VAICTM) and CAR have no effect on stock prices. ROA and NPL have a significant effect on stock prices. Company size moderates the (VAICTM) and ROA variables while NPL and CAR can’t be moderated by company size.

Abstract

Reinforced concrete is the most commonly used construction material in building construction in the 21st century. In its production, supportive instruments are needed to enhance both quality and economic aspects. Formwork, or shuttering, is a crucial factor in the casting and hardening of concrete. The subject of this research is wooden formwork and its alternatives, analyzed in terms of cost, quality, time, and convenience using the Value Engineering Job Plan analysis. In terms of cost, there is a cost savings of 8.88% for DUO polymer formwork compared to the conventional plywood method. The resulting surface quality of the concrete of this method has a average roughness of 3.492. The total duration of the work is 16.54791 days. The total value index obtained for the use of DUO polymer formwork is 98.99, for the plywood film formwork is 48.17, and for conventional plywood formwork is 0.00. Thus, in terms of value, the DUO polymer plastic formwork can be recommended as the best formwork method for multi-story building construction. Considering the advantages and disadvantages of this method, along with the benefits obtained, it would be even more beneficial on a larger construction scale.

Abstract

Many offshore oil and gas workers experience fatigue due to shift work schedules, excessive working hours, lack of sleep, heavy workloads, and harsh environmental factors. Fatigue has the potential to impact an individual's performance, alertness, and overall health and safety. The objective of this research is to identify risk factors for fatigue in offshore oil and gas workers so that preventive measures can be taken. This research is a systematic review using PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) to identify, select, and synthesize studies. Search via the central database, namely ScienceDirect. The publication period used is 2017-2024 with the keywords "Occupational Fatigue" AND "Offshore" AND "Oil and Gas". This research produced eight journals with a Q1 rating. The risk factors for fatigue in workers consist of four risk factors: environmental, organizational, psychosocial, and individual.

Abstract

The city corridor is a strategic area with its own aesthetic and functional value. In connection with the city's beauty, streetscape is one of the determining aspects in terms of architecture and spatial planning. The existence of streetscape tends to be overlooked, resulting in the area lacking identity. The presence of streetscape with character can provide a strong identity for the area, especially when the corridor in question has strategic value in terms of function and location. Proximity to the coastal area is indeed one of the advantages, although currently, it is still hidden, especially architecturally. This research aims to analyze streetscape elements with a coastal area approach. The research location is in the corridor of Piere Tendean Street, Manado, divided into 3 segments. The observed units include pedestrians, street furniture, activities, and buildings on the roadside. The conclusion is obtained that there are soft elements, hard elements, mobile elements, and natural elements. Elements closely related to the coastal area are mobile elements, such as activities enjoying the beauty of the beach equipped with breakwaters, activities in pedestrian and park locations, as well as fishing activities conducted in the empty space where the river meets the beach.
