Abstract

The Banda and Arafura Sea possesses significant potential for the fisheries and fishing industry in the country. The large pelagic fish production data studied were derived from satellite imagery data in the Banda and Arafura Seas (2002-2022). The data of chlorophyll-a content, sea surface temperature and Photosynthetically Available Radiation (PAR) derived from AQUA MODIS satellite images were used to estimate the value of primary productivity with the Vertically Generalised Production Model (VGPM). The results showed that the biomass of large pelagic fish fluctuated seasonally, with the Banda Sea and Arafura Sea having high average fish biomass values in the eastern season. With the highest fish biomass peak in August and the lowest in December. The high value of fish biomass in the Banda Sea and Arafura Sea is caused by upwelling events where sea surface temperatures are low but chlorophyll is high. in the Arafura Sea the value of fish biomass is higher than the Banda Sea, this is due to the large amount of nutrient input from large rivers in the area.

Abstract

This research aims to determine, assess, and analyze the legal status of the Land Sale and Purchase Deed (AJB) compared to the Expired Building Use Rights Certificate, to investigate and analyze the role of a notary in land registration implementation and reconstruction, and to identify and analyze the latest provisions regarding land ownership rights. This research utilizes a normative juridical approach with a descriptive analytical research method. The data used in this research are the disputed land cases located in Kampung Bojong Menteng, Rawalumbu District, Bekasi City, referring to the Expired Building Use Rights Certificate based on Decision No. 571/Pdt.G/2021/PN.Bks jo Decision No. 591/PDT/2022/PT.BDG. Based on the analysis, it is discovered that Decision No. 591/PDT/2022/PT.BDG, issued on November 10, 2022, has invalidated Decision No. 571/Pdt.G/2021/PN.Bks, issued on August 8, 2022, by the Bekasi District Court. Several differences were identified, including: (1) differences regarding the disputed object; (2) differences regarding the parties involved in the dispute; and (3) differences regarding the principle of nebis in idem. These differences prove the existence of unlawful acts committed by PT. Bangun Tjipta Pratama as the owner of the Expired Building Use Rights Certificate, with unclear ownership rights over the land owned by Rekson Sitorus, and the unlawful act conducted by the Bekasi National Land Agency, which issued SHGB No. 7 as the rightful owner of the land in question.

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of liquidity in Sharia Securities (SBSN) by analyzing the impact of bond-specific and macroeconomic factors on the bid-ask spread as a proxy for liquidity. Using panel data regression analysis, the study examines 62 tradable series of SBSN from 2013 to 2022, considering factors such as outstanding amount, time to maturity, yield to maturity, Rupiah exchange rate, inflation rate, reference interest rate, Indonesia Stock Exchange Composite Index (IHSG), and Indonesia Credit Default Swap (CDS). Results indicate that time to maturity, yield to maturity, central bank reference interest rate (BIRate), IHSG, and CDS significantly influence the bid-ask spread of SBSN, while outstanding amount, Rupiah exchange rate, and inflation rate do not. Additionally, analysis reveals that a strengthening IHSG and higher CDS widen the bid-ask spread, indicating reduced liquidity. These findings provide insights for stakeholders including issuers, investors, and regulators in managing SBSN liquidity in the Indonesian market.
