Abstract

Polio is an infectious disease that causes permanent paralysis, especially in children of toddler age. The Indonesian government has implemented National Polio Immunization Week (PIN) to prevent the spread of this disease. However, the coverage of the program at the West City Health Center has not met the national target, which is only 75.1% of 95%. This study aims to analyze the influence of behavioral factors on the use of the Polio PIN program. Analytical survey research method with cross-sectional design. The sample amounted to 297 mothers who had toddlers aged 0–59 months, taken by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed by binary logistic regression test. The results showed that knowledge, attitudes, access to health services, family support, and health worker support had a significant influence on the use of Polio PIN (p < 0.05). Meanwhile, income showed no significant influence (p = 0.119). Behavioral factors are an important factor in the success of immunization programs. Intensive education and counseling efforts need to be carried out to increase community participation.

The results of the study show that the role of PPKn teachers in increasing students' reading interest in PPKn subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Gorontalo, namely teachers play an active role in guiding students and role models in building a literacy culture in schools, especially students' interest in reading. The reading interest of students at SMP Negeri 1 Gorontalo is still finding many problems, especially in terms of the interest of the students themselves, because in this day and age everything is all modern, especially in terms of books they can access books not only through the library but also online. So most of them if they want to read, most of them are online, but some, most still have no interest in reading, especially since libraries have begun to be rare and can be counted, in one class there are only a few people, not up to 10 people.

Abstract

The application of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as a digital technology in healthcare that is used to record and store patient handling data, has become a major need in the transformation of healthcare services in Indonesia. However, the success of its implementation is largely determined by user acceptance. This study aims to identify the application of EMR from the perspective of users in the inpatient room of the Toto Kabila Regional General Hospital as seen from the factors of work expectation, business expectations, social influence and facility conditions. This study used a quantitative approach of a descriptive method, with a population of 150 nurses and a sample of 109 inpatient nurses and data collection through questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, it was found that in the work expectations 32.11% of respondents rated it as good, 67.89% adequate; business expectations of 26.61% were good, 73.39% adequate; social influence 19.27% was good, 75.23% was adequate and 5.50% was lacking; facility conditions were 28.44% good, 69.72% were adequate and 1.83% were poor. Overall, the implementation of EMR at Toto Kabila Hospital was considered good by 30.28% of respondents, and adequate by 69.72%. It is suggested that the implementation of EMR in the inpatient Toto Kabila Hospital can run optimally, improvements are needed in the form of periodic system evaluation, development of EMR features, strengthening team collaboration, improving technology infrastructure, and supporting a responsive IT team.

Abstract

This article discusses the relationship between Islamic theology and the local Kaili tradition in Palu City through the perspective of Indonesia's two largest Islamic organizations, Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). The study focuses on how these two organizations formulate local culture-based policies that maintain harmony between Islamic values and Kaili traditions. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing document analysis, in-depth interviews, and participatory observation. The findings reveal that Muhammadiyah and NU have differing yet complementary views on integrating local traditions with Islamic teachings. Muhammadiyah tends to emphasize the purification of faith, while NU is more accommodative of local traditions as long as they do not contradict Islamic law. The cultural policies produced by these organizations in Palu City demonstrate collaborative efforts to preserve the local identity of the Kaili community without neglecting Islamic values. The synergy between these two organizations fosters a productive dialogue space for integrating local traditions with Islamic values, ultimately leading to the creation of inclusive and sustainable cultural policies. This article recommends the importance of cross-organizational collaboration to strengthen local cultural identity within the framework of Islamic theology as a mercy for all creation (rahmatan lil 'alamin). It also underscores the need for ongoing dialogue between religious organizations, local governments, and communities to create inclusive and sustainable cultural policies.
