Abstract

Kelompok Pengolah dan Pemasar (Poklahsar) Mina Lestari merupakan kelompok yang dibentuk selama Pandemi COVID-19 di Ekowisata Mangrove Batu Lumbang, Denpasar, Bali. Kelompok ini mengembangkan Hasil Hutan Bukan Kayu (HHBK) yang berbasis hutan mangrove. Beberapa produk yang sudah dibuat meliputi: produk olahan makanan ringan, minuman tradisional, fashion, dan produk lulur. Salah satu produk yang menjadi unggulan Poklahsar sebagai mitra adalah simplisia daun Jeruju. Selama menjalankan usahanya, mitra mengalami beberapa masalah diantaranya adalah: mitra masih belum mengenal secara jelas bagian-bagian mangrove yang dapat digunakan untuk produk pangan dan kesehatan, sehingga produk yang bisa dihasilkan sedikit, masa simpan simplisia yang terlalu singkat dan rentan berjamur yang membuat daya jual produk menjadi rendah, dan pengunjung/pembeli tidak bisa menikmati minuman daun jeruju secara langsung karena tidak adanya bentuk yang bisa diminum secara langsung. Metode Pelaksanaan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra adalah dengan penyuluhan dan pendampingan terkait permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra. Kegiatan ini memberikan hasil yang sangat memuaskan. Setelah diberikan penyuluhan, mitra akhirnya memahami tentang pemanfaatan hasil turunan tumbuhan mangrove sebagai bahan baku obat tradisional dan makanan serta memahami bagaimana cara mengolah daun jeruju, mulai dari panen, penyortiran, pengeringan dengan oven, pembuatan serbuk simplisia menggunakan grinder, hingga pengemasan dan penyimpanan. Selain itu, mitra juga akhirnya mengetahui cara lain untuk membuat minuman herbal dengan teknik infusa. Teknik infusa terbukti mampu mengekstrak lebih banyak senyawa fitokimia dari daun jeruju yang dibuktikan dengan warna minuman yang keruh kecoklatan serta rasa dan aroma yang khas daun jeruju

Abstract

MSMEs often face financial problems such as poor cash flow, inaccurate recording,. These problems are also experienced by MSMEs in Cipatung District, East Jakarta. Therefore, this Community Service (PkM) activity aims to improve MSMEs' understanding of basic knowledge about accounting that can help them manage their finances better, ensure proper documentation, which ultimately support the stability and growth of their businesses. The method used is to conduct socialization of basic accounting in accordance with the latest standards carried out by Lecturers of the Accounting Department, assisted by the Master of Accounting students, FEB UPN "Veteran" Jakarta using pre-test and post-test instruments and collecting feedback. The impact of this activity is to improve participants’ understanding of basic accounting as evidenced by an increase in the post-test score (score 68.95/100) compared to the pre-test (score 56.8/100). Although the increase in score is not optimal, this score is quite good considering the limited training time and most participants do not have an accounting background. In addition, the feedback result shows that all participants were satisfied and felt that this activity was useful so that participants expressed the need for ongoing training. This activity highlights the importance of strengthening financial literacy for MSME actors to support business sustainability.

Abstract

Malnutrition in children under 5 years of age is still one of the leading health problems in Indonesia. Early detection of malnutrition in children is vital to allow early intervention. Unfortunately, parents' awareness of the importance of routine nutritional status assessments of their children is still low. Thus, malnutrition in children tends to be recognized late and leads to stunting. The Community Service Team from the Faculty of Medicine, Mahasaraswati University, Denpasar, conducted a nutritional status assessment for children in Banjar Jagatamu aiming at detecting malnutrition in children as well as increasing parental awareness of the importance of routine nutritional status assessment for their children. In total, 27 children aged 0-5 years underwent height, weight, and head circumference assessment to determine their nutritional status. Then, parents received personal counseling with a pediatrician to answer their questions and increase parental knowledge regarding the problem of malnutrition in children. In this social service, there were 10 children (37.0%) with undernutrition and three children (11.11%) with stunting. This social service received a positive response from the community and proved that education and sustainable child health services are still very much needed in Banjar Jagatamu, Meliling Village, Tabanan

Abstract

Stunting is still one of the unresolved child health problems in Indonesia. Education related to providing balanced nutrition is one of the critical keys to preventing stunting in children. We conducted a pediatric health education program regarding "Balanced Nutrition to Reduce Stunting" in Banjar Jagatamu, Meliling Village, Kerambitan, Tabanan on November 17, 2024. This education involved residents of Banjar Jagatamu. We used an educational approach and involved various interactive activities during counseling. During counseling, we provided education regarding nutritional needs according to the child's age, the importance of a high-protein diet for children aged 6 to 24 months, and the importance of routine monitoring of child growth and development at primary health care for early detection of stunting. During the counseling, participants listen enthusiastically and actively ask questions during the discussion session. In addition to increasing participants' insight, this education regarding a balanced diet for children could be a sustainable stunting prevention strategy so that the community and health workers can work together to accelerate reducing stunting in Indonesia

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan kemampuan ibu-ibu PKK di Desa Karya Jaya, Kecamatan Sinar Peninjauan, dalam mengembangkan produk ramah lingkungan melalui pemanfaatan daun pandan dan jeruk nipis sebagai bahan dasar sabun cuci. Metode pelatihan dan pendampingan digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan ibu-ibu dalam membuat sabun cuci alami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk sabun cuci dari daun pandan dan jeruk nipis efektif membersihkan kotoran dan ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan dan kemampuan ekonomi ibu-ibu PKK. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya lanjutan untuk mengembangkan dan memperluas penggunaan produk ramah lingkungan di masyarakat.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan sosialisasi pentingnya manajemen pelatihan kerja sebagai pengembangan jenjang karier karyawan berbasis digital. Metode kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dalam bentuk sosialisasi kepada karyawan yang mengikuti jalannya kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan pemahaman mengenai pelatihan kerja digital yang dilakukan secara online, luring, atau gabungan, diantaranya seperti pelatihan digital marketing, pelatihan content creator, dan pelatihan desain grafis. Abstract

Transaction digitalization is an essential element in enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This community service initiative analyzes the implementation of WhatsApp Business and QRIS as transaction digitalization strategies at RGS Cell and Rorizma mobile credit counters in Bantul Regency. Through a one-month training and mentoring program, business owners were provided with an understanding of optimizing WhatsApp Business for communication and marketing, as well as utilizing QRIS to facilitate cashless transactions. The results of the initiative indicate that WhatsApp Business enhances customer interaction through features such as catalogs, automated messages, and conversation labels. Meanwhile, the implementation of QRIS reduces cash payment constraints and increases RGS Cell’s daily transactions by 25% and Rorizma Cell’s daily transactions by 20%. Thus, digitalization through WhatsApp Business and QRIS has been proven to have a positive impact on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, making it a strategic model for MSMEs in adapting to the digital era

Abstract

Ilmu Pengetahuan masyarakat akan kendala–kendala mesin mengalami lose compression yang menyebabkan matinya kerja mesin sehingga para nakhoda kapal akan kesulitan untuk perpindah posisi maupun jika ingin mendarat. Untuk itu, pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk membantu para nakhoda / nelayan dalam mengetahui gejala maupun gangguan yang dialami oleh mesin yang mereka gunakan pada kapal dengan cara merawat sekaligus maintenance yang akan dilakukan ketika mendapati permasalahan. Masyarakat Nagori Sibaganding melakukan kegiatan ekonomi dalam bidang penangkapan ikan dan juga kapal pariwisata yang berada di Sumatera Utara. Dari hasil pengamatan di lapangan dan wawancara langsung kepada Ketua Paguyuban Nelayan setempat, terdapat tiga aspek yang menjadi fokus pada program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu permasalahan yang terjadi pada mesin, penanganan yang akan dilakukan, dan kondisi perawatan mesin. Dengan adanya penyuluhan yang dilakukan diharapkan para nelayan mampu memahami dan merawat kondisi mesin kapal mereka guna meminimalisir adanya kendala saat berada di danau, serta dapat meningkatkan hasil untuk memenuhi permintaan konsumen

Abstract

In the digital age, businesses must adopt digital marketing trends to increase targets and sales. Digital marketing, which is becoming a tremendous business phenomenon on the internet, allows companies to introduce and promote products more effectively. In Lancang Kuning Village, the community service mechanism for digital marketing involves planning, training, and evaluation. MSME participants, divided by business field, collaborate in planning training programs. During the activity, they understand how to promote products through digital media. The final evaluation provides feedback to MSME players about products and marketing strategies, including direct interaction with users through social media. It not only provides insight into the acceptance of the product, but also allows an assessment of the benefits and disadvantages of the product or marketing strategy that has been adopted.

Abstract

Motivation, support and high desire are very necessary to start a business. So entrepreneur must be known as soon as possible to Indonesian citizens. Introduction to learning entrepreneur through educational activities entrepreneurin Bintan Regency, to be precise at SMKN 1 Seri Kuala Lobam in Kuala Sempang Village. The aim of this education is to prepare students to generate employment opportunities, alleviate the problems of unemployment, poverty and economic downturn. There are targets and outcomes that are the aim of educational programs entrepreneur motivatingly, creatively and skillfully in providing information to SMKN 1 Seri Kuala Lobam about the importance of understanding education entrepreneur motivating and creative and can instill the soul entrepreneur to students from an early age. The method used in this education is to use observation to dig up information regarding the condition of students at SMKN 1 Seri Kuala Lobam Kuala Sempang Village and socialization to take part in a series of socialization activities to foster an entrepreneurial spirit. The results of this training are the outcomes of carrying out several educational activities, including a tendency to grow in motivation regarding persistence to awaken the soul. The emergence of a strong awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship from generation to generation starting at a young age who emulate the successful behavior of entrepreneurs who have been running and are successful. In the end, by carrying out this activity the participants are expected to gain scientific insight in the field of entrepreneurship so that they can improve their souls entrepreneur million to raise the enthusiasm of the younger generation for entrepreneurship. The conclusion from this activity is that it is able to foster motivation and a sense of enthusiasm, awakening the soul entrepreneur among students of SMKN 1 Seri Kuala Lobam. Apart from that, the benefits of this activity can increase strong awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship starting from a young age.
