Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which firm value is influenced by the company's dividend policy and ownership structure. The research population is property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018, totaling 70 companies. The sample was determined by purposive sampling method, the number of research samples is 20 companies. Data analysis used the estimation model test, classical assumption test, panel data regression, hypothesis testing consisting of the F test and t test. The results showed that: (a) debt policy partially has a positive and significant effect on firm value (b) dividend policy partially has a positive and significant effect on firm value. (c) institutional ownership has a positive and significant effect on firm value. (d) managerial ownership partially has a positive and significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ethnic, gender and qualification of the board of directors on company performance. Two control variable are quality audit and company age. The sample in this study was taken random at the companies listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, which were 266 companies with a study period of 7 years from 2011-2017. Data analysis by used panel data regression. The results of this study indicate that gender has a negative and significant effect on company performance, while ethnic and qualification have no significant effect on company performance. Quality audit and company age have no significant effect on company performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze financial ratios and their impact on profitability in Islamic banks in Indonesia. The ratios used are CAR (X1), NPF (X2), FDR (X3), OER (X4) and ROA (Y) for profitability. The research population is all Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. The sampling technique used total sampling. The research data starts from 2015 to 2019. Sources of data were obtained secondary through publications from the OJK. Data analysis used descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests (normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test and autocorrelation test), coefficient determination test, F-test and t-test. The result showed CAR (X1), NPF (X2), FDR (X3), OER (X4) simultaneously have a significant effect on ROA (Y). The variables FDR (X3) and OER (X4) partially have significant effect on ROA (Y) whereas CAR (X1) and NPF (X2) have no significant effect on ROA (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Locus of Control, Total Quality Management on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as Intervening Variable. The object of research is the Padang UNAND Hospital. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to employees. Analysis Data by Path Analysis. Based on the results of this test indicate that (1) there is a positive and significant influence between Locus of Control on Job Satisfaction at Padang UNAND Hospital (2) there is a positive and significant influence between Total Quality Management on Job Satisfaction at Padang UNAND Hospital (3) there is a positive and significant influence between Locus Of Control on Employee Performance at Padang UNAND Hospital (4) There is a positive and significant influence between Total Quality Management on Employee Performance at Padang UNAND Hospital (5) There is a positive and significant influence between Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance at Padang UNAND Hospital (6) Job Satisfaction does not mediates Locus of Control on Employee Performance at Padang UNAND Hospital (7) Job Satisfaction does not mediates Total Quality Management on Employee Performance at Padang UNAND Hospital.

Abstract

The presence of humans on earth is a gift of leadership and humans are born with their destiny as leaders for themselves, their families, and the surrounding community. The challenges that are faced every day are important factors in shaping the character of one's self and soul so that it has implications for a leader when taking part in society. Jokowi as a figure of a leader who was forced by circumstances, his family, and society formed himself into a leader with a different character, and it is said that an expert is a Servant Leader. Methodology qualitative and narrative descriptive analysis methods on literature review. Comparisons of expert opinions and theories as well as relating several important events in the lives of characters through audio and video as well as real-life stories. Jokowi's leadership has become an inspiration for many people so that the author is interested in seeing and observing more deeply from the historical side of Jokowi, from the selectivity of a biography and the history of success as a company leader, major, governor and president, this is also what makes the writer's way of thinking finding a new view of leadership theory which is referred to in the term WLBC, along with the many theories of styles and characteristics and types of leadership by previous experts, writers and researchers. There are three finding factors that strongly influence the formation of Jokowi's character which are applied in ten indicators, three factors including family, community, and personal responsibility.

Abstract

AbstractThe object of this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2020 with a total population of 196 companies. The sample of this research is 44 companies that meet the criteria based on purposive sampling. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression.The results of this study there is a significant relationship between the independent board of commissioners on firm value. Institutional ownership has no effect on firm value. There is a significant relationship between the audit committee and the investment opportunity set on firm value. The results of other studies indicate that there is an influence of the CSR moderating variable between the independent board of commissioners' relationship to firm value. It is different with institutional ownership that has no effect on the value of the company which is moderated by CSR. There is a significant effect between the audit committee and the investment opportunity set on firm value moderated by CSR in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period.Keywords: CSR, independent board of commissioners, investment opportunity set, institutional ownership. audit committee, firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Moving Average Convergence-divergence (MACD) on stock performers with Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) as a Moderation variable in Financing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). Sampling in the study using purpose sampling method obtained 14 companies with time series data. The analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using eview. The results show that Relative Strenth Index (RSI) partially has a positive and significant effect on stock performance, Moving Average Convergence-divergence (MACD) partially has a positive and significant effect on stock performance, Relative Strenth Index (RSI) has a positive and significant effect on stock performance. which is moderated by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Moving Average Convergence-divergence (MACD) has a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Shares moderated by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER).

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence leadership style, human resource development has on employee performance at the Mukomuko district social service with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Methods of collecting data through surveys and questionnaires. The analytical method used is validity and reliability test, multiple linear analysis, hypothesis testing using F test and t test. The total respondents in this study amounted to 55 respondents. Based on the research obtained based on the partial test (t test) obtained: (a) Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (b) human resource development has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (c) Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (d) human resource development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (e) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Then the results of the coefficient of determination 0.592 or 59.2% this shows that the percentage of the contribution of the independent variable leadership style and human resource development to job satisfaction is 0.408 or 40.8 is influenced by variables outside the study while the second equation is 0.720 or 72.0% this shows that the percentage of the contribution of the independent variables of leadership style, human resource development and job satisfaction to the dependent variable of employee performance (Y) is 0.720 or 72, 0%. While the rest is 0.280 or 28.0% influenced by other variables outside of this study.

Abstract

The Effect of Servant Leadership and Organizational Commitment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable at PT. Karya Semangat Mandiri Padang. This study aims to examine how much influence Servant Leadership and Organizational Commitment to Job Satisfaction and how much influence Servant Leadership, Organizational Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on Job Satisfaction. Methods of data collection through surveys and distributing questionnaires, with a sample of 85 respondents obtained by the Slovin formula in the employee population of PT. Karya Semangat Mandiri Padang. The analysis method used is correlation analysis, multiple linear regression and path analysis using SPSS 16. The results obtained based on the T test (partial test) obtained Servant Leadership and Organizational Commitment parisally have a significant effect on the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of PT. Karya Semangat Mandiri. Based on the F test (Simultaneous), it was found that Servant Leadership and Organizational Commitment parisally had a significant effect on job satisfaction of employees of PT. Karya Semangat Mandiri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how big the influence of price, innovation and brand image partially or jointly on purchasing decisions. The method of data collection was through questionnaires with a sample of 95 students from the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang, Department of Management. The method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the correlation analysis test show that there is a significant relationship between price, innovation and brand image on purchasing decisions for LENOVO products. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis were obtained: (a) There is a negative and significant effect between price on purchasing decisions, as evidenced by the value of t-statistic < t-table (-2.627 < 1.986). (b) There is a positive and significant influence between innovation on purchasing decisions, as evidenced by the value of t-statistic > t-table (4.494 > 1.986). (c) There is a significant influence between brand image on purchasing decisions, as evidenced by the value of t-statistic > t-table (4.631 > 1.986). Then based on the joint hypothesis test (F test) it can be seen that the value of F-statistic > F-table (21.902 > 2.70). So the author concludes that price, innovation and brand image have a significant effect on purchasing decisions and the result of Determination (R2) the value is 0.419 this shows that the contribution of the influence of the variables studied in this study is 41.9% and the remaining 58.1% is influenced by the variables others outside of this study.
