Abstract

This study aims to see the implementation of child-friendly city policies in the Kacang Mayang Green Open Space, Pekanbaru City. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive analysis. Qualitative research is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior from the phenomena that occur. This study examines the facts of the implementation of the Child Friendly Playroom Program in Pekanbaru City. The data collection technique in this research uses literature study by collecting data and documents from various references that will be used as references. The results of this study are that the implementation of child-friendly city policies (a case study of the implementation of the Child Friendly Playroom Program in the Kacang Mayang Green Open Space in Pekanbaru City) has gone well. This is shown by the availability of adequate facilities, infrastructure and facilities to become child-friendly green open spaces. Received a good assessment and determined that Pekanbaru's Kacang Mayang Green Open Space was suitable for children, proving the government's commitment to realizing a child-friendly city through the provision of child-friendly green open spaces. In implementing child-friendly city policies, there are several factors that influence, namely: completeness of the facilities; Accessibility; Safety and comfort; Government commitment.

Abstract

This research was done in Health Office Padang City, Which purpose to discover about to performance of the Padang City Health Office and the inhibiting factors in monitoring the quality of drinking water in the Padang City. The study applies a qualitative method using purposive sampling. Prosess aggregation data colth pass through observation, interview, and study documentation, while technique for validity the data testing that using resource triangulation with data analysis such as a data collection, data reduction, data presentation along with pulling conclusions. The results of the research conducted was explain performance of the Health Office in Supervising the Quality of Drinking Water in the City of Padang is not optimal, because there are still obstacles such as: Lack of supervision and attention from the Health Office to the community regarding the quality of drinking water that is fit for consumption, there are still limited funds, materials and tools for examining water samples, Besides that, there are also limited human resources so that all work in a certain section is held by only one person. It can be concluded that the performance of the Health Office has not been maximal in monitoring the quality of drinking water in Padang City.

Abstract

Nagari Government is the administration of government affairs carried out by the Nagari Government and the Nagari Consultative Body (BAMUS). Wali Nagari is the administrator of the government, while BAMUS is the supervisory agency. In carrying out the supervisory function, BAMUS and Wali Nagari need to coordinate so that BAMUS supervision runs well. The phenomenon of the problems that occur is that there are several things related to the administration of Nagari government that are not known by BAMUS. As a result, BAMUS' supervision of Wali Nagari is not comprehensive. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, describing phenomena according to what is happening in the field. This research was conducted in Nagari Muara Sakai, Pancung Problem District, Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra Province. The result of the research is that the coordination of supervision between BAMUS and Wali Nagari Muara Sakai is carried out through village deliberations, coordination meetings, verbal communication, BAMUS goes directly to the field, and accountability reports. The coordination in the supervision of BAMUS with the Wali Nagari Muara Sakai has not gone well enough. This is because there are several factors that hinder the coordination of BAMUS supervision with Wali Nagari Muara Sakai, namely poor communication between BAMUS and Wali Nagari, unsynchronized actions between BAMUS and Wali Nagari in several activities, lack of ideas for BAMUS Nagari in carrying out supervisory functions, and the lack of transparency of the Wali Nagari regarding some Nagari activities.

Abstract

Innovation in the scope of public services is one of the important elements in the government environment so that it becomes one of the solutions to public problems that are currently happening. The presence of innovation can improve the quality and satisfaction of public services to the community. The West Pasaman population service system is a public sector organization that seeks to provide services by launching various forms of service innovation in order to facilitate the community in the process of issuing population documents. This study uses the theory of Typology of Innovation by Mulgan and Albury in Khairul Muluk which aims to analyze how forms of innovation exist in the population service system of West Pasaman Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and documentation. Data analysis in the field uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. As a result, the implementation of the population system innovation of West Pasaman Regency based on the Typology of Innovation has been appropriate for every form of typology. The dominant innovation typology lies in service innovation products, which amount to fourteen innovations. Meanwhile, in the typology of service method innovation, provides convenience with direct services to the office or online-based services. The supporting factor for implementing innovation lies in the high enthusiasm of the community in managing population documents and the stability of SIAK which runs optimally.

Abstract

Economy is one of the things that have an impact due to Covid-19 pandemic. This has caused not a few people to experience layoffs due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The solution to this problem by supporting and assisting the affected communities to rebuild. Therefore, the government provides various types of assistance that are presented during this pandemic. The Pekanbaru City Communication, Informatics, Statistics, and Encryption Service has a role in conveying information related to city government, including disseminating information regarding Covid-19 social assistance to public. Information related to social assistance during this pandemic is very much needed for affected communities. Therefore, this study aims to find out how performance of the Pekanbaru City Communication, Informatics, Statistics, and Encoding Office in conveying information related to Covid-19 social assistance and what factors are supporting the performance of the Pekanbaru City Communication, Information, Statistics, and Encryption Service. in conveying information. The theoretical concept used in this research is the performance measurement indicator by Agus Dwiyanto (2006). The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are that the performance of the Pekanbaru City Communication, Informatics, Statistics, and Encoding Office is good and skilled but needs to improve coordination with each OPD so that the delivery of information related to COVID-19 social assistance becomes clearer and the factors that affect the performance of the office are the ability of employees, work motivation, work environment, networking, and coordination.

Abstract

Development in the industrial sector also causes negative impacts that can threaten the preservation of the surrounding environment, the importance of monitoring companies that may have negative impacts. Environmental pollution carried out by PT Toba Pulp Lestari which occurs in the Toba Regency area shows that the supervision carried out by the Toba Regency Environmental Service has not been optimal. The purpose of this research is to see how the supervision carried out by the Environmental Office of Toba Regency in supervising environmental pollution by PT Toba Pulp Lestari and what factors are hindering the supervision carried out by the Environmental Office of Toba Regency in overcoming environmental pollution by PT Toba Pulp Lestari.

Abstract

This research examinesStudent Knowledge About Drug Abuse Among Students of SMA Negeri 1 Pendopo Barat, Pendopo Barat District, Empat Lawang Regency.This study aims to obtain information about students' knowledge of drug abuse among students at SMA Negeri 1 Pendopo Barat, Pendopo Barat District, Empat Lawang Regency. The type of research used is quantitative without testing the hypothesis. And to collect information using the saturated sample technique by giving questionnaires to 93 students of SMA Negeri 1 Pendopo Barat, Pendopo Barat District, Empat Lawang Regency.The results of this study explain that the 6 (six) sub-indicators that exist with the average percentage per sub-indicator are impaired brain function and normal development, the results are yes to know (very good), intoxication (poisoning) is yes to know results ( very good), it is difficult to control oneself there are results of not knowing at all (not good), health problems have results of yes knowing (very good), negative attitudes in society have results of not knowing (quite good) and weak education there are results of yes knowing ( very good). Thus, the results of the analysis of all the research sub-indicators showed good results, and only one indicator, namely the difficulty of controlling oneself which was not good. This shows that the students of SMA Negeri 1 Pendopo Barat, Pendopo Barat District, Empat Lawang Regency, have known the dangers of drug use.

Abstract

Public service is the government's responsibility to its citizens as mandated by the 1945 Constitution. One government agency that provides public services is the Department of Investment and One Stop Integrated Service, Dumai City. Dumai City DPMPTSP is aggressively making innovations to improve services. The innovation in question is the Investment Potential Application (SIAPI) for ease of investing. The purpose of this study was to determine how public service innovation through SIAPI in DPMPTSP Dumai City and the inhibiting factors that affect the implementation of SIAPI. This research uses Rogers' innovation theory which has five indicators, namely relative advantage, compability, complexity, triability, and observability. The type of research used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Collecting data required both primary data and secondary data from the results of interviews, observation, documentation, then analyzed so that conclusions are drawn from the research problem. The finding of this research is that innovation has not been going well. Factors that hinder the adoption of SIAPI are socialization, half implemented, HR and budget.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the management of Village Funds for community empowerment in Mulya Subur Village, Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan Regency with the application of village financial management. In this study, the indicators used are village financial management in Permendagri Number 113 of 2015 concerning Village Financial Management in the form of transparency, accountability, participation, and budget discipline and discipline. This type of research is qualitative with the data sources used in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation with data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the management of the Mulya Subur Village Fund has not been carried out optimally as well as the management of the Village Fund. This is because the participatory implementation is still constrained by the lack of community participation in opening up space for participation. In addition, community participation is still passive. In the management of the Village Fund, it is also still focused on physical development activities.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Fire Department of Padang City which aims to determine the effectiveness of performance, the obstacles that become obstacles and identify solutions to overcome obstacles in achieving performance in accordance with the objectives, targets and vision and mission of the Fire Department.This study uses a qualitative method using purposive sampling. The data collection process is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation studies, while the data validity testing technique uses source triangulation with data analysis such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research carried out were to explain the effectiveness of the performance of the Padang City Fire Service is not optimal, because there are still obstacles such as: due to lack of facilities and infrastructure for fire prevention and disaster prevention, funds for disaster management, and Human Resources (HR), it can be concluded that The effectiveness performance of the Padang City Fire Department has not been maximized in preventing fire hazards.
