Abstract

Growth and development of an area of town is not always a positive affect. High population growth resulted in increased population density and an increased in the density of buildings for residential as well as an increased need of infrastructure to carry out activities in an effort to make ends meet. The increase in space requirements is almost always coupled with the growth and development of slums and squatter settlements in a region.Tassel coastal districts is one district that has slums, the residential area is located in one of the villages Meranti Pandak subdistrict coastal fringe. Villages that cannot escape the problem of untidiness. If it is left without treatment improvements will expand the existing slums. Efforts taken by the government to address this is through the implementation of the restructuring program of slums that have been implemented since the first approach taken by various coastal fringe districts, including mutual cooperation program of activities that include physical, environmental, and infrastructure there.One of the government programs in addressing the slum is a slum arrange evenly and thorough quality improvement in a very seedy area.This study aims to determine how much oversight arrangement slum districts on the fringe of society in the coastal city of Pekanbaru. Abstract

Library is successful if it had been able to meet the needs and expectations of users. But until now Riau University Library Unit is still constrained by the quality of services provided such as:1. The number of collections that are less meet the needs of visitors, as well as the lack of new books published in Library Unit.2. The existing information systems today are still many problems.3. System of preparation of the book is still not organized.4. Less friendly and less of a response employees / officers in providing services.This study aims to determine the quality of service in improving visitor satisfaction in Riau University Library Unit and to investigate the factors that influence the quality of service in improving visitor satisfaction in Riau University Library Unit. Tjiptono theoretical concept in Hardiyansyah (2011: 40) There are six indicators to determine the quality of public services, namely: 1. Timeliness of care services 2. Accuracy 3. Courtesy and friendliness 4. Ease of getting care 5. Convenience in obtaining support services 6. Attribute servicing , This research method used descriptive qualitative method, ie the data obtained will be discussed thoroughly by the reality that occurs in institutions or where research is conducted. Then compared with the concepts and theories that support the discussion of the problems in this study, and then draw conclusions that are generally applicable.From the results of research and discussion conducted on "Quality of care in improving visitor satisfaction in Riau University Library Unit", it can be argued that the UPT service Riau University Library has been implemented but not maximum quality of services provided to library patrons. This is a drawback that can be used as a reference for the Riau University Library Unit in order to improve the quality of its services so as to improve the satisfaction of users of the library.Key words: Services, Visitor Satisfaction.

Abstract

Immigration detention is a temporary shelter foreigners who violate the legislation imposed immigration measures and pending repatriation to their countryThis study aims to determine how the implementation and the factors that influence in the Standard Operating Procedures Rudenim in Pekanbaru, to conform with regulations that the Director General of Immigration NO IMI. 1917-OT.02.01 YEAR 2013 on Standard Operating Procedures Rudenim.This study uses qualitative methods with data collection by interview, observation and literature study. Interviews were conducted with research informants defined by snowball sampling technique.The results showed that the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures Immigration Detention House (Rudenim) in the city of Pekanbaru is still not running smoothly or less effective. Due to the vagueness and contradictions in the statement of basic measures and policy objectives which resulted in the disciplinary rules pertaining to the Standard Operating Procedure regarding temporary exit permits for Deteni without escort. concluded that the dominant factor influencing factor is the policy. Where the lack of policy of the Central Government and the response or lack good relationship between immigration detention by the central government such as the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights and the Minister of Foreign Affairs so as to make make the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures immigration detention is not running smoothly.Keywords: Implementation, Standard Operating Procedures, Rudenim

Abstract

The growth of university need a good quality in service, aspecially the service by the faculty itself. A faculty has importants role in the university such as, to fullfit the expectation of the candidate of the students, the students limited access about the scholarship and something like that. In the fact, one of duties of the students subgroup is to prapare about the scholarship it self. Based on the promblem above, the researcher interested to know do the research about how the quality of students adminstration service in the facuality of social and politic at university of riau.The theory of cancept that used by the researcher was agus dwiyanto, there are some dimensions of the quality of students administration service, such as: the service of administration, the prosedure, time, facilities, and the resuait of service itself.This recearch used descriptive method that used qualitative result that got by interview some informan and analysis bye the researcher.The result of this research showed that the quality of students administration service in the faculty of social and politic was good enaugh. In the other hand, it still has some weakness in the qualty of service itself.Key words: quality, service, students administration

Abstract

This study describes the Effectiveness of Patient Handling Installation services Emergency department (ED) Hospital Petala Bumi Pekanbaru. The phenomenon of the background for this research is the discovery of a complaint of some patients and families of patients quality of services contained in the General Hospital Petala Bumi city of Pekanbaru in terms of hospitality officer, when handling emergency patients long enough until the service process convoluted where the service activities in the emergency room installation requires administrative process as soon as possible.This study uses the theory Sterrs consisting of four indicators include the ability to adjust, work productivity, job satisfaction, resource utilization (human resources capability). The research method used descriptive analysis with collection through observation, interview, and literature study.The results of the study authors found the effectiveness of the services contained in the general hospital petala bumi Pekanbaru city has not gone up. It is seen from the ability of self menyesuaian officer of duty evidenced by the presence of a transfer of inpatient room to the emergency room so that these officers do not yet understand the task that is in the emergency room. Aside from the ability to adjust, employee productivity has not gone to what was expected authors found the presence of patients waiting to be handled by a doctor. Due to the lack of the number of officers who will be treating patients in the emergency room. Factors affecting the effectiveness of the treatment of patients progressed less in the plant emergency low level of adjustment of service personnel as well as the lack of workforce services.Keywords: Effectiveness, Handling Services

Abstract

Analysis procedure penaman Agency regional capital and one stop (BPMD-PTSP) Payakumbuh aims to identify and analyzing the procedures of business licensing document creation services in Payakumbuh. The reality of the existing procedures are still many who do not comply with the procedures that have been set. Of the phenomenon of research, the formulation of this research is how the procedure of licensing services business in agency regional investment and one stop (BPMD-PTSP) city Payakumbuh and the factors that influence the procedures of business licensing in BPMD-PTSP city Payakumbuh. This study uses the theory proposed by Moenir.This study uses descriptive analysis. The data collecting technique is observation, interview, and literature study. Key informants of this research is the Head of integrated services, Head of staffing, general Head and equipment, employees in charge of the service, and people who take care of business licensing documents.The results showed that the procedure outlined in BPMD-PTSP not run with the maximum, it is proved they were not aware of the presence of officers will be a task that will be in laksanakannya, not optimal placement of employees. And the factors that affect the business licensing service procedures in BPMD-PTSP is a lack of awareness of employees, is not optimal staffing, as well as the need to disseminate the holding of the community.Keywords: Procedures, Licensing Services

Abstract

Management of cultural park is very important. Cultural park is a place to do activities related to art and culture. Riau province has a Cultural Park managed by Technical Implementation Unit (TIU) Regional Museum and Cultural Park Riau province, as a government institution responsible for the existence and development of local culture.for that institution, is required to do the development and cultural development of 12 districts or cities in riau province. Based on field observations, the problems that occur are some work programs that have been planned has not been implemented optimally. The purpose of this study is to know the management of cultural park and the factors that influence the management of cultural park at TIU Regional Museum and Cultural Park Riau province. The theory concept used is management according to George R.Terry which starts from planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. Data collection research using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with research informants such as Head of Cultural Service, Head of TIU Regional Museum and Cultural Park, Head of Culture Park Section, Riau Cultural Park employee and Artist. Conclusion of this research that management of cultural park at TIU Regional Museum and Cultural Park not yet optimal. There are still some shortcomings, especially in organizing, actuating, and controlling work programs. As well as the factors that influence the form of human resources, facilities and budget management of cultural park at TIU Regional Museum and Cultural Park. Abstract

Based on the decision of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 44 Year 2000 on the National Ombudsman Commission stating that community empowerment through their participation in supervision will ensure the implementation of an honest, clean, transparent, free corruption and nepotism state. The Ombudsman as an oversighting independent institution is expected to remain in place for the administration of an Ombudsman State to move quickly towards a better government (Good Government).But the problems that occur that supervision has not been done effectively, which can be seen the implementation of supervision is still a passive and there are still many unresolved reports. This study aims to determine how the implementation of supervision of public services and factors - factors that influence the implementation of supervision by the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia (ORI) Riau Province Representative. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach by using key method of informant with data collection technique using interview, observation, and documentation.The conclusion obtained from the results of this study indicates that the Oversight of Public Services by ORI Representative of Riau Province has not been effective, it can be seen from many reports from the unresolved community and ombudsman only give sanction in the form of suggestion or recommendation to institution that do deviation. Factors that affect, among others: human resources must continue to be added to the number and improve quality, placement of appropriate budget usage so that the supervision process can run well.Keywords: Supervision, Public Service, Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia

Abstract

Dieng Plateau area has a geothermal energy power station with a capacity of 60 MW. Research Center for Geotechnology, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) tried to expand the productive areas in Dieng to other prospective areas around Dieng Plateau using the Magnetotelluric method. Magnetotelluric measurement was done by taking path stretching from east to west and from north to south comprising of 24 locations, each with a distance of 2 to 4 km. The tools used are Phoennix MTU-5A by using two kinds of coils, namely MTC-30 for high frequency 1,000–10.000 Hz and MTC-50 for low frequencies from 0.00001 to 400 Hz. Three lines for the two-dimensional cross section were made. From the three cross-sections, there are rocks with resistivity value of ≤32 Ωm interpreted as soft rock or alteration rock and Dieng volcanic rocks as cap rock. Under the cap rock, there are rocks with resistivity value between 64–1.000 Ωm with thickness of about 1,000–2,000 meters which are interpreted as volcanic clastic rocks and lava from Jembangan, Damar, and Ligung Formation as reservoir rocks. In the very bottom rock, there are rocks with resistivity value of ≥1,000 Ωm interpreted as igneous rock which still contain heat from the Quaternary intrusion that are not exposed at the surface and the Kumbang Formation consists of andesite and basalt lava. The developing structure is classified as normal fault structures as seen on all of the line that make the reservoir trap better. On the western region, namely Wanayasa area and the north west area of Mangunan, there were rocks with the same system and structure as found on the eastern area (Dieng prospect area). Therefore, in addition to current productive Dieng area, there are also other prospective areas in Wanayasa and Mangunan area.

Abstract

Violence against children is one of the biggest problems that occurs in the city of pekanbaru. Therefore the Department of women’s empowerment and child protection in collaboration with P2TP2A in pekanbaru which serves to facilitate the provision of various physical and non-physical devices to women and children victims of violence. In an effort to protect women and children there are several agencies that are involved and coordinate with each other. Coordination is an important role in one organization to achieve the same goals and wants to be achieved. This study aims to get an overview of coordination between P2TP2A city of Pekanbaru with relevant agencies and identify the factors that in fluency the coordination of violence services for children in Pekanbaru. This study used descriptive qualitative methods. This uses the coordination, communication of division of labour and discipline. From the results of the study, it was found that the coordination between P2TP2A and the related agencies was not optimal, seen through several coordination indicators, one of which is a form of direct communication in the form of a coordination meeting which is only carried out according to the needs of the case, and at meetings where leaders are often represented so as to cause ineffective coordination meetings that are produced because decisions in meetings must wait for leadership approval, and disciplinary indicators on coordination established by P2TP2A often cannot fulfill calls from the police as a psychological companion to the victim, due to the constraints, limited competent human resources and limited facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, coordination can be carried out with optimal support from the government in the form of an adequate budget for fulfillment of cases and the need for facilities and infrastructure.
