Abstract

Information literacy analysis of SDIT Al-Ikhlas reading garden is the focus of this research. Examination of information literacy in the reading garden of the SDIT Al-Ikhlas educational foundation is the subject of this study. Through direct interviews and documentation, this study used a qualitative research approach. Based on the findings of this study, children's magazines, math and science comics, and children's magazines are types of children's collection materials that can be found in reading gardens. Children's comics are the type of children's collection material that is most often read and used, while children's magazines are the type of children's collection material that is rarely used or read. Abstract

Advances in information technology also bring fundamental changes in meeting the information needs needed. One of these technologies is the internet, which is an unlimited source of information and can be accessed anytime and anywhere for 24 hours. While printed sources have limited access, namely the place and time and the novelty of the collection. This study aims to find out the information that students are looking for through internet services. The research method used is this research method is qualitative research. The results showed that most of the students taught themselves to search for information through the internet (64.29%), while the frequency of using the internet to search for information was often (70.83%) carried out by most of the students in the library, and in this study half of the respondents' answers stated that students only use the internet once (50%) in one visit to the library, and almost half of the respondents' answers stated that students use the internet during breaks (41.46%). Abstract

The reason someone seeks and carries out the process of searching for informaltion can vary from one person to another. In general, students majoring in the Sociology of Relligion at the University of Indonesia seek informaltion in the library because to meet their information needs, namely in the form of assignments given by the leturer. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research approach. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the pattern of information-seeking behavior owned by each student of the Sociology of Religion UINSU is a starting, verifying, networking element, browsing, extracting, accessing, monitoring and managing information.Kelywords: analysis, behavior, information

Abstract

This study aims to identify the information needs of users in the UISU library. This research is located at the Islamic University of North Sumatra (UISU) which is located on Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Teladan Barat, Medan Kota District, Medan City, North Sumatra. The method to be used in this research is a qualitative research method which is described descriptively. The technique used in collecting qualitative data is using direct observation techniques. The results of this study concluded that the collections contained in the Library of the Islamic University of North Sumatra (UISU) were insufficient, but each faculty had its own library. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought many changes. Change is so fast that several changes have occurred in human activities. One of them is in the aspect of the world of education. At a time when the Covid-19 pandemic was declared increasingly dangerous, lectures that should have been conducted face-to-face had to be moved remotely or online. This was also experienced by the library science class in 2019. The purpose of this study was to identify differences in student information seeking behavior in meeting information needs before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method, and the research sample is students who experience changes in the learning process in online classes in 2019. Abstract

Library Promotion currently holds custodial (minor) positions in Information Science and Library Education at various universities in Indonesia. So don't be surprised if the production unit, which is then called the library, stagnates and stops working. Developing a blog-based library expands the possibilities of your user base, but using a freeware database is sufficient to become the backbone of your library automation. In the current Development 4.0 era, library promotion through Instagram social media is considered more effective and efficient. Interaction between librarians and users can now take place virtually by utilizing existing information technology. The researchers looked specifically at one account of university libraries: universities. Communicating with users via Instagram is an effective way to advertise in university libraries. This article also describes the forms of interaction provided by the Instagram application and how the UIN North Sumatra Library itself uses the facilities available on Instagram. The data collection method consisted of observing the Instagram account of the North Sumatra State Islamic University Library and conducting a literature review. The results of a survey conducted by the UIN Sumut library utilized all existing facilities on Instagram to promote the library. Libraries use the Instagram Stories feature to upload videos and photos, as well as Instagram Direct to promote their library. Keywords: Library promotion, Social media, Instagram

Abstract

This research is motivated by the 3-period presidential discourse in the Indonesia Lawyers Club (ILC) program. This study aims to determine public acceptance of the 3-term presidential discourse on the YouTube channel Indonesia Lawyers Club (ILC) episode "Harga-Harga Naik, Tapi Publik Puas Terhadap Jokowi". The research method uses a qualitative reception analysis approach with the encoding-decoding model by Stuart Hall to understand community reception. Stuart Hall divides the categories of audience acceptance into 3 positions, namely dominant, negotiated, and oppositional. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews. The results of the study show that the public does not agree with the existence of a 3-term president, because this is contrary to the constitution and the basis of the 1945 Constitution that applies in Indonesia. Even though all informants acknowledged Pak Jokowi's performance, according to the informants, Pak Jokowi was not fit to continue his term of office because doing so could undermine reforms and damage the state order. Abstract

Currently, libraries need to integrate so that they can take advantage of the technology that is currently available. The existence of technology will provide convenience in the process of using library techniques that are more structured in terms of ease of knowing how the existence of a library is needed by its users. The type of research that the author uses is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach. The results obtained by the authors related to the research carried out is technology in the library. Libraries can take advantage of technology so that the process in the process is more systematic. Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that traumatize people from insurance products in the city of Binjai. This research method uses an approach, namely a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that in creating people's interest in PT. Asuransi Prudential Syariah, there are triggering things that indoctrinate people's desire for Islamic insurance goods at the start of goods sold to users or the people. Then the invitation made by the agency from PT Asuransi Prudential Syariah to people who already know and use insurance services or who don't understand what insurance is, after that the people's income has no doctrine when the people become prudential sharia customers because the premium payment nominal can be adjusted to the nominal entry of prospective customers/customers. Abstract

Public Relations (PR) dan pemasaran (marketing) adalah sebuah cabang ilmu yang berbeda disetiap masing-masingnya, namun kedua disiplin ini berevolusi dengan lingkup kegiatan yang lebih besar. Di era globalisasi, di era teknologi komunikasi dan informasi berkembang sangat pesat, seorang praktisi public realitions dituntut untuk dapat bersaing dalam membangun brand image perusahaan yang dikelola terutama dalam Pemanfaatan media online (cyber public realitions) untuk mempromosikan produk dengan ide kreatif berbasis berbagai teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Internet dipandang sebagai potensi pemasaran yang besar dan menjanjikan bagi para pebisnis untuk melebarkan sayap pemasarannya dan meningkatkan penjualan. Salah satu trend yang sedang terjadi saat ini, promosi yang melibatkan hasil teknologi adalah melakukan promosu dengan melakukan endorsement para artis-artis sosial media atau yang dikenal sebagai influencer. Dalam promosi ini, para influencer biasanya mendukung penjualanan suatu produk dengan menjadi brand ambassador dari produk tersebut. Salah satunya, produk kosmetik lokal MS Glow Beauty, sebuah brand kecantikan yang dapat memasarkan produknya melalui rekomendasi melalui jasa influencer melalui jejaring sosial Instagram. Meskipun brand MS Glow masih terbilang baru di telinga dibandingkan dengan produk lain yang ada di pasaran, namun tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa produk skin care MS Glow sudah cukup dikenal di masyarakat.
