Abstract

This classroom action research aims to 1) Describe the process of learning mathematics material on enumeration rules for students of class XII IPA 2 SMAN 1 Nunukan Selatan by using the application of jigsaw type cooperative learning. 2) Describe the increase in learning outcomes of mathematics material on enumeration rules for students of class XII IPA 2 SMAN 1 Nunukan Selatan with the application of jigsaw cooperative learning. This study uses the classroom action research phase which includes planning, action, observation, and reflection which is carried out in two cycles. Data collection techniques in this study were through observation of the learning process and tests. Data analysis was carried out by processing data from observations of the learning process and learning outcomes data in a qualitative and quantitative descriptive way. The results of the research show that the learning process is getting better. Successively obtained an average learning process in Cycle I of 64.31%, and Cycle II of 79.99%. In terms of learning outcomes, the number of students who achieved a passing score in Cycle I was 50% and in Cycle II was 94%. In general, it can be concluded that up to Cycle II there was an increase in the process and results of students' mathematics learning in the enumeration rule material through jigsaw cooperative learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-development programs for students implemented at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muallimin Univa Medan, as well as leadership policies in instilling character values. In addition, it also aims to find out what supports and hinders the cultivation of character values ??through self-development programs at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muallimin Univa Medan. This research is included in the category of qualitative research using a phenomenological perspective. The findings of this study show how Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muallimin Univa Medan integrates the development of character values ??into learning by focusing on three different areas: teaching, modeling, and assessment. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muallimin Univa Medan implements the policy of the madrasah head to teach character values ??through working meetings with the teacher council in the context of instilling character values ??in students. In addition, this study examines the facilitating and inhibiting elements that influence how students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muallimin Univa Medan build character.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research Aims to improve Students' Ability to write Texts in The Form Of Procedure. Based on the results of tests carried out by the author before conducting classroom action research and the results of observations during the teaching and learning process at MAN 1 Bungo, especially class XII IPA 1, most students have not been able to write text in the form of procedures. Procedure text learning is contained in the curriculum standard at the unit level of education (KTSP) in class XII semester 1. By using the Make a Match learning model, it is expected that students' ability to write procedure texts will increase. The results of this classroom action research showed that students' ability to write procedure texts could increase. This lies in the actions that researchers perform in each cycle 1, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. This PTK was carried out in class XII IPA 1 MAN 1 Bungo with 2 cycles. In each cycle planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting on data were carried out. The collected data is processed quantitatively. Thus it can be emphasized that the Make a Match learning model can be used as an alternative to improve students' ability to write procedure texts in class XII IPA 1 MAN 1 Bungo. The results of the actions of each cycle obtained an overview of the results of cycle 1. The success rate of students reached an average of 67.4 with good category abilities. In cycle 2 the success of students reached an average of 73.85 with good category ability.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on observations with fellow Indonesian language teachers for class IX at SMP Negeri 1 Dayeuhkolot, it turned out that the students' ability to write inspirational stories was still low. This condition is found especially in Class IX F. The problems of students in writing inspirational stories the writer wants to improve by using e-book creator learning media in the learning process of writing inspirational stories. The purpose of this study was to improve the quality of the learning process of writing inspirational stories for class IX F students of SMP Negeri 1 Dayeuhkolot using e-book creator media and to improve the quality of learning outcomes for writing inspirational stories for students of class IX F at SMP Negeri 1 Dayeuhkolot. This research took place at Dayeuhkolot 1 Public Middle School, Bandung Regency. The form of research is Classroom Action Research, namely action research conducted with the aim of improving the quality of learning practices in the classroom. Data collection techniques with observation/observations, tests, and questionnaires. The data that has been collected is analyzed by comparing the results of the actions in each cycle with predetermined indicators of success. The results of the study obtained that the use of e-book creator media can improve students' ability to write inspirational stories. This increase can be seen, at the beginning of the study the percentage of students completing 38%, Cycle I became 67%, and in Cycle II became 86%.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the Ability to Write Poetry in Class VIII-1 Students of MTS Negeri 2 Bungo Through the Guided Writing Learning Model Diction Inventory Strategy. The method used is class action research with a cycle model design, namely the stages of (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. As for the research results obtained by learning using the guided writing learning model the diction inventory strategy can improve learning outcomes. In the first cycle the level of student learning completeness reached 62.85% with good learning abilities. Meanwhile in cycle II the level of student learning completeness reached 82.85% with a very good level of learning ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Menganalisis perencanaan rekrutmen dan seleksi tenaga pendidik untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di MBI Amanatul Ummah, Pacet – Mojokerto. (2) Mendeskripsikan strategi rekrutmen dan seleksi tenaga pendidik untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di MBI Amanatul Ummah, Pacet Mojokerto. (3) Menganalisis proses evaluasi pelaksanaan rekrutmen dan seleksi pada tenaga pendidik dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di MBI Amanatul Ummah, Pacet – Mojokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian ini metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini didapati secara langsung. Dengan melakukan wawancara kepada pihak terkait untuk memperoleh data yang berkaitan dengan Strategi rekrutmen dan seleksi tenaga pendidik untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Madrasah Bertaraf Internasional (MBI) Amanatul Ummah Pacet Mojokerto. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Proses kegiatan rekrutmen di MBI Amanatul Ummah Pacet Mojokerto melalui pihak wakil koordinator bidang keguruan dan kepegawaian dengan membuka lowongan pekerjaan atau calon tenaga pendidik melalui sitem getok tular dalam artian langsung memberitahu kepada guru-guru senior agar menyiapkan tenaga pendidik baru sesuai dengan kebutuhan mata pelajaran yang akan diajarkan. 2) Proses pelaksanaan strategi rekrutmen meliputi kegiatan tes tertulis, tes baca kitab kuning, tes keaswajaan, tes baca Al-Qur’an, sesuai prosedur yang disiapkan oleh pihak keguruan. Proses strategi rekrutmen di MBI Amanatul Ummah mengedepankan tujuan utama yaitu menyeleksi tenaga pendidik yang berkualitas, bertintegritas serta berpaham Ahlu Sunnah wal Jama’ah. 3) Proses evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan rekruktmen di MBI Amanatul Ummah Pacet, Mojokerto tidak menemukan kendala

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter religius adalah memberikan penanaman dalam berperilaku yang lebih religius dengan memberikan contoh-contoh dengan berbagai macam cara demi mewudjudkan tujuan pendidikan Islam yang rahmatan lil’alamin, sehingga para murid dapat menjalakan kereligiusannya dilingkungan mereka berada. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Menganalisiskperencanaan, 2) Implementasi, dan 3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat pendidikan karakter religius di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Walisongo 3 Banyuanyar. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu, 1) Perencanaan pendidikan karakter religius di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Walisongo 3 Banyuanyar dilakukan melalui beberapa hal, yaitu, a) Menetapkan standar karakter siswa, b) Mengembangkan karakter religius sekolah, dan c) Menyediakan fasilitas pendukung yang memadai, 2) Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter religius di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Walisongo 3 Banyuanyar dilakukan dengan, a) Pendekatan pembiasaan dan keteladanan melalui kegiatan harian, b) Kegiatan mingguan, c) Kegiatan bulanan dan d) Kegiatan tahunan, dan 3) Faktor pendukung implementasi pendidikan karakter religius diantaranya: a) Masjid, b) Perpustakaan, c) Pengeras suara, d) Budaya bersalaman, e) Tersedianya al-Qur’an, dan f) Alat peraga lain, serta g) Adanya evaluasi ditempat. Sementara faktor penghambat disini meliputi: a) Masjid milik masyarakat, b) Aktifitas siswa di luar sekolah bukan tanggung jawab guru, dan c) Adanya pengaruh teman diluar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the effect of open ended learning with the help of gooole classroom on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students of Junior High School Negeri 1 bar Hilir. The population in this study is the entire class VIII Junior High School Negeri 1 bar Hilir which consists of 7 classes whose total number of students is 145 students. While the sampling in the study as suggested by the teacher is Class VIII-3 as an experimental class and VIII-4 as a control Class of 15 students. As a research instrument, pre-test and post-test result data is used in the form of essay test on Relation and function material, where each question is 4 questions and has been validated by mathematics lecturer. The test used in this study is the Right t-test. After the management of statistical data t-test the right party obtained that tcount = 2,006 dan ttable = 1,70 then tcount > ttable or 2,006 > 1,70. This means accepting Ha dan decline H0 Based on the results of the t-test, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of open ended learning approach assisted by google classroom on the understanding of mathematical concepts of Junior High School Negeri 1 bar Hilir students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze student errors made by second grade students of SMP Satria Dharma Perbaungan in using regular and irregular verbs. This research aims to obtain the types of errors in identifying regular and irregular verbs in the past form and to find out the causes of why students make mistakes. This type of research is research with qualitative methods. This research was conducted by following error analysis procedures, starting with sample selection, identification, elaboration, explanation and assessment of errors. The data sources in this research were 10 students from the second grade of SMP Satria Dharma Perbaungan. The research data was obtained by doing observations, giving questionnaires and giving tests to students. From the error analysis process, it was found that students made three types of errors, namely ommission, addition, and misformation. The results of omission errors were 23.34%, addition errors were 26.66% and the most errors occurred at 50% misformation errors. According to the theory of Ellis and Barkhuizen, students' errors are caused by interlingual transfer and intralingual transfer.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to know the causes of students' anxiety in speaking English, the types of students' anxiety, and the level of students' anxiety in speaking English in the eleventh grade of SMK Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam. This study uses qualitative methods by collecting data through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that there are 3 factors of student anxiety in learning English according to Horwits' theory (2011), namely (1) Communication Apprehension, where students have difficulty speaking English because they do not have much knowledge about English, (2) Test Anxiety, where students feel anxious when they have to take an English test, and (3) Fear of Negative Evaluation, where students are afraid that the teacher and their friends will laugh if students make mistakes. According to Thomas (2009), there are also two types of student anxiety: State Anxiety and Trait Anxiety. And the questionnaire was developed by Horwitz with 33 statements, the results showed that 1 student (10%) experienced a high level of anxiety, 7 students (70%) experienced a moderate level of anxiety, and 2 students (20%) experienced mild anxiety.
