Aisyiyah as one of the Muhammadiyah women's organizations has a means of communication through social media that aims to provide information for progressive women. The Instagram account Aisyiyah currently has 7425 followers with the amount of material posted 561. One of the materials that is the focus of socialization on reproductive health and women's nutrition. As an interactive media tool, Instagram is used to provide knowledge through means of live IG, posting photos, and polling. What is the effectiveness of using Aisyiyah's Instagram account in the dissemination of reproductive health and women's nutrition. The theory used in this study, computer mediated communication. This type of research is qualitative - descriptive with data collection carried out through interviews, observation and literature studies. The results of this study can illustrate the use of social media by Aisyiyah especially in reproductive socialization and nutrition for women.

Building an image of an area now has become the concern of many local governments in shaping the image of the city or region. Place branding is part of the study of city branding which is part of an effort to plan cities in building differentiation of images and strengthening brands. Bogor City as one of the supporting cities of capital city has a lot of potential natural resources, human resources and environmental resources that support in building the city image as a Green City. This study aims to describe the efforts of the Bogor City government in building the city image as a Green City. This paper is based on several research authors with a sequential method approach using data collected through qualitative and quantitative methods. Instead of communicating with the city marketing using media publications, the City of Bogor Government prefers to build its city image in the public's mind through a landscape strategy approach in carrying out the city's primary communication. The landscape strategy carried out by the Bogor City government in building its city image is carried out by building city parks, structuring and expanding green open spaces as a city attraction that is also seen and felt by its citizens.

The increasing number of social media users in Indonesia certainly provides a great opportunity to optimize social media as a communication medium. One of them is social media used as a promotional media for agricultural development, on the other hand it is not only social media that is used for media promotion. In fact, in the field many found that conventional media / traditional media are still used as promotional media. The research focused on the effectiveness of agro-tourism promotion media using social media and conventional media in Banyuwangi Regency. The research approach uses quantitative data with survey methods and uses questionnaires as a data collection tool. The sample of this study were three agro-tourism groups from three sub-districts in Banyuwangi Regency with the total number of social media users being 226 visitors and 146 visitors for conventional media users. Data were collected in May-July 2018. Data were analyzed by SPSS 22 and Mann Whitney Test descriptively. The results showed that Pvalue Svarna Agrotourism was 0.226, this value is greater than the significant value (α = 0.05) which indicates that conventional social media and media are different. Pvalue of Pb Agro Tourism is 0.003, this value is smaller than the significant value (α = 0.05) which indicates that sociald media and conventional media have no difference. While the value of Values of Steam Agro Tourism is 0.443, this value is greater than the significant value (α = 0.05) which indicates that conventional social media and media are different.

Current sustainable development of agriculture is one of which depends on the capacity of agricultural extension workers. The development of information technology contributes to the means for increasing this capacity. Cyber Extension, which is the embodiment of Law No. 16 of 2006 concerning agricultural extension systems, is expected to be fully utilized by extension agents throughout Indonesia. This is so that the instructors can provide information and develop innovations in agriculture. This study aims to explain the use of media and the stage of information seeking by instructors in Bogor district. The concept used in this research is Cyber Extension, media use and the smoothness of information retrieval. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through surveys. A total of 61 agricultural instructors in Bogor Regency were interviewed through a closed questionnaire. In the media use variable, the results of the study show that the extension agent's ability to access is good while the availability of facilities and operational costs are still in the less category. When the smoothness of the information search process is in the smooth category.

Digitalization must begin a strong law that is Acts. Based on the records, digital broadcasting regulations using Republic of Indonesia Minister of Communication and Informatics’s regulations could be canceled through lawsuits at Supreme Court and State Administration Court. Broadcast digitalization was begun in 2011 through a digitalization Road Map and till date, the process at House of Representatives has not been completed. 85% of countries in the world have migrated to digital broadcasts. The study aims to describe how changes and various roles in broadcasting digitalization if the revision of the Broadcasting Acts is implemented. The study also aims to find out the impact and benefits of broadcasting digitalization for the public and broadcasting stakeholders compared to present Broadcasting Acts. This study uses participant observation methods and text analysis to categorize the articles of digitalization in the revision draft of the Broadcasting Acts from the House of Representatives Commission I in 2017, accompanied by media coverage analysis. Discourse analysis is used to relate to the problems arised due to broadcast digitalization. The results show that digitalization can provide more channels in the same space than analog broadcasting. Political parties and state institutions will be allowed to have broadcasting institutions. The State through Television Radio of the Republic of Indonesia (RTRI) will become the important player in terrestrial digital broadcasting with a single multiplexer (mux) system, which is considered undemocratic for private television associations. All "television stations" will change and compete to become "content providers" similar to new digital televisions. The government will formulate the mechanisms, socialization, models, roles in digitalizing television broadcasting in a blue print. Digital dividend will be used for the development of internet and telecommunications. The dynamics that occur due to interests’ differences of the state, the private sector and society take part at each stage of broadcasting digitalization regulation. The conclusion of the study illustrates that the use of digital technology in broadcasting through the Acts’ revision could be a solution for both frequency limitation and the efficient use for more diverse broadcasters (diversity of ownership).

The development and widespread use of internet technology has changed the way people communicate in everyday life. The most important indicator of this transformation is the emergence of new communication devices with internet technology called "digital communication devices" (Werbin 2012). Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and similar social networks that are used online and virtual platforms such as web sites, microblogs, are new communication tools that are used as transformations of existing communication tools such as printed communication devices (journals, newspapers, etc. ), visual (television, cinema, etc.) and audio (radio) communication devices. The transformation is also followed by the way we donate, namely the transition from the offline system (directly giving to the mosque or orphanage) to the online donation system. One of the crowdfunding platforms (online donations) in Indonesia is Kitabisa.com. Lots of excess donations online, but the proliferation of online fraud makes the public (prospective donors) reluctant to participate in this program. So there needs to be a communication strategy between fund raisers and prospective donors to encourage public participation. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Techniques for collecting data with in-depth observation interviews and document checking. The interview was conducted by interviewing the Kitabisa.com party as the party that built the donation and fundraising site for initiatives, campaigns and social programs that had the motto "Let's work together to build Indonesia!". Data analysis was performed using data analysis of Miles and Huberman. Message element theory in social media and participation theory is used in this study which discusses how message elements in a social media / donation site. To increase audience participation in fundraising through online sites, Kitabisa.com by uploading content that contains storytelling and video formats in each campaign that will be done on social media. Update campaigns, progress reports from each campaign, photos in the form of proof of activity are also regularly displayed on the website. This is done consistently to maintain the quality of the campaign and maintain public trust and participation.

Political participation is an important problem because it is one form of support that comes from various parties or groups. Political participation is inseparable from the media as a means of information for the community. Beginner voters are one part of the community whose voice is needed in the political process. Beginner voters with media are two things that cannot be separated, especially the use of social media. The research objective consists of several things, namely: 1). Knowing the characteristics of beginner voters in Bogor Regency; 2). Knowing the use of social media in accessing political news on beginner voters; 3). Analyzing the political typology of beginner voters; 4). Analyzing the segmentation of beginner voter typology based on access to political news on social media. This study used a survey approach and data collection using a questionnaire on 105 respondents. The sampling method uses quota sampling while the data analysis uses descriptive analysis, mean scores and CHAID. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of beginner voters in Bogor Regency are dominated by women, high school education, not participating in the organization. Instagram is the most widely used social media as access to political news. The typology of beginner voters from the largest percentage is apathetic voters followed by naive, alienated and loyal voters, the media, the more access to news through social media encourages voters to be loyal, without accessing politics through social media makes voters apathetic.

In the era of new media, every individual and social, cultural, economic and political groups must require themselves to interact actively with new media. This is done not only to express the identity of individuals or groups, but more importantly how then each group uses new media as a means of communication to empower or liberate themselves. Feminism as a liberation movement for women has included new media and their application as important issues in their movements; cyberfeminism is an important outcome of this application. New media in the view of cyberfeminism has provided a large area, a region with an arena of objectives of cyber space, namely a process of technology that is rendered, by empowering women through techno-culture. Cyberfemists argue that women are naturally suitable for using new media. Cyberfemists also make efforts to work towards empowering women through new media by fighting various male-dominated discourses that surround technology use. This paper generally wants to discuss the concept of "cyberfeminism" and how feminists (cyberfeminists) use new media as a vehicle to empower and free themselves from male-dominated discourses. This paper also wants to provide alternatives about how women should be optimally use new media for empowerment. The approach of this research is qualitative-descriptive by conducting library research, this study specifically wants to describe how the concept of cyberfeminism is used by women's groups in the context of liberation and empowerment.

This scientific work is the result of the analysis and study of literature that reviews the communication and information media, namely social media in the form of social networks as a very effective medium used as a medium of communication and information to convey problems or aspirations of the community, especially for regions that have not been touched by the media optimally. widely known by the general public, especially officials who are currently serving. This study has a purpose for: first, to describe the characteristics of digital age society that uses communication media. Second, describing the linkages of the media of communication with national development and Third, describing the opportunities and challenges that arise in the digital era society. And fourth, describe the efforts that must be done in the digital era.This research method is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Researchers conduct data collection in accordance with existing events. Then the data is analyzed by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation then drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study show that national development will be well realized if there is a communication medium in the form of social networks that are used by the community correctly, ethically and can be accounted for. This can be reached in the wider community with the existence of cooperation between the community and the local government, namely by conducting counseling in all places evenly.

The presence of development communication is basically aimed at contributing to the development process, especially in order to accelerate the diffusion process of innovation. The diffusion of innovation in development is an effort to meet the demands of modernization. Therefore, development is often equated with the term modernization. One indicator of modernization is the presence of communication technology that is very fast developing. Communication technology that was created to facilitate human work in the end was not able to place humans as subjects, but instead became the object of technology. The helplessness of individual humans when dealing with communication technology is a picture of the failure of the development process and human-centered social change. Communities are often powerless to stem the hegemony of communication technology. Therefore empowerment communication is a new perspective in the education of development communication in the spirit of voicing the voiceless. This study aims to reveal the social changes that occur in the "thugs" community in the development process as an illustration of community empowerment in communication seen from the perspective of the theory of communicative action. This research is a case study using a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study include: 1) Changes in people's mindsets are able to bring them to a pattern of behavior that is different from before. In the process of this change it can be seen that in the community there is a process of self-help to get out of stigma as a "village of thugs"; 2) Communicative actions of the community based on four claims according to the communicative action theory of Habermas in the empowerment process show the empowerment of the community in communicating that moves them in a living condition based on the existence of mutually agreed upon values and norms; 3) The functioning of social groups into public spaces for the community to communicate and express, thus fostering emancipation and solidarity among the community. Social groups are the most effective forum for empowerment at the community level that enables individuals to organize themselves in these groups (collective self-empowerment) so that a dialogical encounter occurs that fosters and strengthens awareness of communication and group solidarity.
