Integral (Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Matematika) is a periodical journal conducted by a team of mathematic education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Pancasakti Tegal. Integral consisting of several writings about the results of research and book review. Integral seeks to accommodate researchers, lecturers and students in the field of Mathematic Education to publish scientific work regularly every two times a year. Please read these guidelines carefully. Authors who want to submit their manuscript to the editorial office of Integral (Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika) should obey the writing guidelines. If the manuscript submitted is not appropriate with the guidelines or written in a different format, it will be rejected by editors before further reviewed. Abstract

Abstract The development of technology in the 21st century has brought significant changes across various sectors, including education. Education must continuously adapt to remain relevant by leveraging technology, such as developing technology-based learning applications. The "Chancify" PWA (Progressive Web App) was developed to enhance student learning motivation and support students' critical thinking skills. This application provides comprehensive materials, practice questions, quick calculation features, interactive quizzes, and a chat feature to support learning. This research used a development research method, which included stages of preliminary study, planning, validation, final product review, and dissemination. Validation results showed that the application is valid with a score of 84.72% from media experts and 92.5% from subject matter experts. The practicality of the application was rated at 82.75% by users, indicating that the application is practical and valid. Motivation survey results showed a significant increase in students' learning motivation. The findings of this study are expected to improve the quality of education and student achievement.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine whether vocabulary abilities in mathematics learning after applying the QuizWhizzer media are better than vocabulary abilities in mathematics learning before applying the QuizWhizzer media. This research is experimental research. The population in this study were class XIII students at Al Mi'raj Talang Middle School. Meanwhile, the sample in this research was class VIII A. The data collection techniques in this research were tests and documentation. The test is used to determine vocabulary abilities in learning mathematics. Documentation is used to find out student data and photos of activities. Data analysis techniques are prerequisite tests: normality and homogeneity tests, data analysis tests: paired sample t test. Vocabulary abilities in mathematics learning after the application of the QuizWhizzer media are better than vocabulary abilities in mathematics learning before the application of the QuizWhizzer media .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the completeness of students' mathematical communication skills by using differentiated instruction strategies. This research is a type of pre-experimental research with a one-shot case study research design. This research was conducted on students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Adiwerna in the academic year 2023/2024. With a population of 320 students in class VIII, class 8-E was chosen as the experimental class with a sample size of 32 students. The results of hypothesis testing with the T-test and Proportion Test show that learning with differentiated instruction strategies has achieved mastery.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning independence of Grade X Phase E students. The purpose of this study is to describe how students' learning independence is in the problem-based learning model. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a learning independence questionnaire as the instrument. The subjects of this study are Grade X Phase E9 students for the 2023/2024 academic year. Based on the data analysis conducted, the results showed that the average percentage of students' learning independence in each aspect is 77%, which falls into the good category. Therefore, it can be concluded that students' learning independence in the problem-based learning model falls into the good category

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of self-efficacy of students in the material of the Three-Variable Linear Equation System (SPLTV). The method used in this study is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study are students of class X of Al-Irsyad High School, Tegal City, which totals 31 students. The data collection technique in this study is in the form of providing a questionnaire using the Likert Scale. The results of this study show that students have high self-efficacy in the material of the Three-Variable Linear Equation System (SPLTV) as seen from the answers to the statements in the questionnaire
