Abstract

While sustainability reporting has made significant strides in recent years, a noticeable gap persists between reporting practices and corresponding assurance measures. This paper emphasizes the alignment of sustainability assurance statements with the essential elements mandated by the ISAE 3000 assurance standard. A content analysis was conducted on the assurance statements of twenty (20) publicly listed companies across 20 different exchanges over a three-year span from 2020 to 2022. The analysis employed a quantitative approach, utilizing scoring to assess the alignment of the content with the requirements of the assurance standard. The research instrument was based on the minimal content elements of ISAE 3000 and developed by previous studies. The study reveals high quality levels among all assurance providers in the sample. Country-wise, the quality level is high for all countries except Japan, Thailand, Denmark, and Australia, which exhibit a medium quality level. Similarly, sectors in the sample generally exhibit a high quality level, except for consumer goods and industrial sectors, which demonstrate a medium quality level. The study also identifies variability in the content elements of assurance statements.

Abstract

The cultural transformation of AKHLAK in the organization places a strong emphasis on the role of human capital as cultural actors to enhance competitiveness in the global market and position state-owned enterprises (BUMN) as talent factories. As a state-owned enterprise, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk must undergo transformation with AKHLAK Culture as outlined in the Circular Letter of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises Number: SE-7/MBU/07/2020 on Core Values. This includes the establishment of core values as the identity and adhesive for a work culture that supports sustainable performance improvement. This research aims to understand and explain the process of internalization and implementation of organizational culture values at PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, both at the central office and branches, encompassing construction services, traffic, and transactions as the company's core business with minimum service standards set by the government as the authority. The study adopts an interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach and ethnographic methods characterized by extensive fieldwork involving data collection through interviews, observations, symbols, artifacts, and various other data sources. The analysis focuses on the central and branch organizations as customer service functions for toll road users. The findings indicate that the implementation of AKHLAK in various units, including the central office, operational work regions, and subsidiaries, has led to unique innovations and creativity, particularly noticeable in operational areas where there is a lack of specific AKHLAK guidance. However, the concentration of commitment reinforcement is limited to th e leadership level, creating a gap in implementation in the field units, the core business areas, where the services provided do not align with the core meanings and behaviors of the AKHLAK Cultural Values

Abstract

This research wants to know the process of political communication in factionalism that occurs in Islamic Parties, namely Prosperous Justice Party (PKS). The approach taken in this research is qualitative with case study research type and interview method as data collection technique. Interviews were conducted with 12 (twelve) resource persons. The theories used in this research are political communication theory, conflict theory, and faction theory. The results showed that there are stages in Prosperous Justice Party factionalism, namely cooperative factionalism, competitive factionalism, and degenerative factionalism. In these three stages, each stage was analyzed in accordance with the elements of political communication, namely sender, encoding, message, channel, decoding, receiver, feedback, and noise. In the cooperative factionalism stage, there are justice and welfare factions. At the competitive factionalism stage, there are conflicts between factions and at the degenerative factionalism stage marked by the birth of a new party, namely the Gelombang Rakyat Indonesia party. The generation system in Prosperous Justice Party as a recipient communication element, palys a role in political communication and strengthens the party’s ability to overcome persistent conflicts and has saved the party from prolonged conflict. In addition to regeneration, PKS leaders and the Majelis Syuro as sender elements or communicators, have a central role in the political communication process. Their role covers various aspects, from formulating party messages to communicating with the public, party members, and other stakeholders.

Abstract

In an ever-changing and evolving media environment, this dilemma becomes increasingly complex and challenging. On one hand, the adherence to journalistic ethical codes is crucial to ensure the accuracy, balance, and integrity of the information conveyed to the public. However, on the other hand, the pressure to compete in delivering news as quickly as possible, particularly in the digital era where information can spread rapidly, often hampers efforts to adhere to these ethical codes. Therefore, the updating of journalistic ethical codes in the age of technological advancement becomes crucial. Responsiveness to dynamic changes in the media environment is key to maintaining the relevance and sustainability of ethical principles in journalistic practice.

The quality of a baby's sleep is important to support the baby's growth and development. The type of research used is analytical observation and cross-sectional methods. The sample used was 40 babies aged 2-12 months. The sampling method uses the total sample. The results of the study showed that 20 babies who received baby massage and had good sleep quality were 20 (100%). There is a relationship between baby massage and the sleep quality of babies aged 2-12 months, with a p value of 0.000.
