Abstract

This research was conducted to see the influence of Human Relations and the Use of New Media Technology in Organizational communication at PT. Lantera Sejahtera Indonesia. The research method used a census method with a population of 65 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and questionnaires consisting of 82 questions divided into 3 parts, namely human relations, the use of new media and organizational communication. Data analysis in this study used the SEM method. Hypothesis testing shows that human relations have a significant effect on organizational communication. This indicates that good human relations will contribute well to organizational communication. The use of new media in organizations has a significant effect on organizational communication. Furthermore, from the results of the hypothesis test, it can be seen that human relations and the use of new media together can affect organizational communication at PT Lantera Sejahtera Indonesia. From the results of this study, researchers provide several suggestions to improve organizational communication at PT Lantera Sejahtera Indonesia to be able to improve human relations for the better so that organizational communication becomes better. Furthermore, the use of new media can increase the effectiveness of communication built at PT. Lantera Sejahtera Indonesia

Abstract

The cultural transformation of AKHLAK in the organization places a strong emphasis on the role of human capital as cultural actors to enhance competitiveness in the global market and position state-owned enterprises (BUMN) as talent factories. As a state-owned enterprise, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk must undergo transformation with AKHLAK Culture as outlined in the Circular Letter of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises Number: SE-7/MBU/07/2020 on Core Values. This includes the establishment of core values as the identity and adhesive for a work culture that supports sustainable performance improvement. This research aims to understand and explain the process of internalization and implementation of organizational culture values at PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, both at the central office and branches, encompassing construction services, traffic, and transactions as the company's core business with minimum service standards set by the government as the authority. The study adopts an interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach and ethnographic methods characterized by extensive fieldwork involving data collection through interviews, observations, symbols, artifacts, and various other data sources. The analysis focuses on the central and branch organizations as customer service functions for toll road users. The findings indicate that the implementation of AKHLAK in various units, including the central office, operational work regions, and subsidiaries, has led to unique innovations and creativity, particularly noticeable in operational areas where there is a lack of specific AKHLAK guidance. However, the concentration of commitment reinforcement is limited to th e leadership level, creating a gap in implementation in the field units, the core business areas, where the services provided do not align with the core meanings and behaviors of the AKHLAK Cultural Values

Abstract

The case of covering the Virgin Mary statue using a tarpaulin is one of the viral cases related to religious issues. The case involved an Islamic mass organization in Kulon Progo Yogyakarta and the owner of the Sasana Adhi Rasa prayer house, ST Yacobus. Some of the posts about the case use the hashtag #patungbundamaria. Hashtags, which intended originally to promote sculpture products, suddenly used to increase the reach of spreading issues. This is as an effort to carry out propaganda that has the potential to bring up a discourse of intolerance. This study aims to determine the form of multimodal discourse from the case of the closing of the Bunda Maria statue in Kulon Progo, as well as the propaganda formed. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a constructivist paradigm. The analysis technique is through multimodal discourse analysis. Researchers look at the use of multimodal text to build propaganda messages with the addition of hashtag modes. The results of this study indicate that the emergence of the issue of the Virgin Mary statue by using hashtags begins in the form of gray propaganda. This is because the data to raise this issue is still not valid due to pursuing posting speed. However, from the process of developing issues on social media, the message shift to white propaganda. In addition, netizens on Instagram have a concern in rejecting intolerance. They seek to suppress the emergence of intolerant discourse by providing comments that encourage tolerance between religious communities.

Abstract

This research examines the Dialectic Perspective of Interpersonal Conflict of Pre-Divorce and Its Reconciliation. The development of the divorce rate in Indonesia has reached its peak in 2022 compared to the last six years. These phenomena interest the researcher in discovering how the married couple in dispute can resolve their marriage and repair their relationship. This research is based on the theory of relational dialectics as a ground theory, supported by narrative sense-making as the middle theory, and complemented by dialogic listening theory as the applied theory for supporting conflict resolution. The method used was a qualitative descriptive approach to study the case of four informants with criteria determined by the researcher. The results of this study indicate a framework dimension from the precursor of marriage conflict, namely individual character and family character, forward to the process of the conflict where the dimension of interpersonal conflict and addressing or problem-solving of the conflict is found, to the reconciliation dimension that contributes to the success of reconciliation such as time, agreement, use of future narrative, satisfaction, financial performance, habitual interdependence, and religion and cultural constraints.

Abstract

Komunikasi interpersonal penyuluh agama Islam di Kementerian Agama Kota Jakarta Selatan memainkan peran penting dalam menyampaikan ajaran agama dan nilai-nilai moral kepada masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptifkualitatif, untuk mendapatkan data-data di lapangan peneliti mengunakan metode observasi wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan dalam subyek dalam penelitian ini Komunikasi interpersonal penyuluh Agama Islam kepada masyarakat. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Keberhasilan komunikasi ini bergantung pada kemampuan penyuluh dalam mengelola elemenelemen komunikasi interpersonal, seperti sumber-penerima, encoding-decoding, pesan, media, gangguan, konteks, etika, dan kompetensi. sehingga masyarakat merasa nyaman dengan adanya program yang diberikan. Sedangkan faktor penghambat dalam komunikasi interpersonal antara penyuluh agama dengan masyarakat yakni sebagai berikut ; faktor gangguan dalam komunikasi bersifat fisik, psikologis, dan semantik.

Abstract

The relocation of the capital city of Indonesia from Jakarta to East Kalimantan is a strategic policy that presents various challenges, including complex political conflicts. This conflict involves the rejection by indigenous communities regarding land rights, concerns about environmental impacts, and the lack of public participation in the decision-making process. This research aims to examine the role of communication in managing the political conflicts arising from this policy. Through the application of Conflict Theory by Littlejohn, Constructive Controversy by Peter T. Coleman, and the Theory of Cooperation and Competition by Morton Deutsch, this research analyzes the role of communication in alleviating conflicts, building cooperation, and achieving consensus among stakeholders. This research applies the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to identify studies related to political communication and conflict resolution in the context of public policy during the period 2022–2024. The research findings indicate that public resistance can be attributed to the inadequacy of inclusive narratives and the lack of participatory dialogue. A communication approach that prioritizes collaboration through constructive dialogue and narratives reflecting shared interests has the potential to transform destructive conflicts into more productive negotiation processes. The conclusion drawn from this study is a recommendation for the implementation of clearer communication strategies, involving all parties, and focusing on collaboration to create agreements among stakeholders.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to formulate structural relationships related to the implementation of K3 in isolation and observation rooms for infectious diseases (covid 19) as well as to analyze operational strategies for building isolation and observation rooms after the Covid 19 pandemic at RSUD dr. Soegiri, Lamongan Regency, East Java. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, in more detail the ISM used is descriptive statistical analysis. The research population was 15% of the workers at Dr Soegiri in the infectious disease room. In the ISM method, the respondents were decision makers, so 3 people were taken, namely the hospital director, head of the infectious diseases room and head of HSE. Based on the results above, this research shows that A1, which consists of measures to prevent transmission, breaking the chain of transmission, and increasing body resistance, is a key element or elements that have an influence on implementing the K3 program in the isolation room for Covid-19 patients at RSUD dr. Soegiri, Lamongan Regency.

Abstract

This research analyzes the Toraja-Makassar ethnic conflict triggered by hate speech on social media and proposes a conflict prevention model based on the Early Warning System (EWS). Using Communication Accommodation Theory, research identifies forms of divergence in hate speech that widen social and cultural distances between ethnic groups. As a solution, the PRISMA EWS (Proactive Real-time Integrated Social Media Analysis Early Warning System) model is proposed which consists of four layers: monitoring-detection-analysis-response, analysis & assessment, warning system, and core system. This model is designed to detect early signs of conflict through social media analysis using machine learning, taking into account the local cultural context and involving various stakeholders. The research methodology used is qualitative with a comprehensive literature study approach to analyze the Toraja-Makassar ethnic conflict and develop a social media-based Early Warning System (EWS) model. The research results show that the PRISMA EWS model has the potential to be effective in preventing ethnic conflict on social media, although its implementation requires technological infrastructure support and intensive multi-stakeholder cooperation..

Abstract

The quality of education in Indonesia is still said to be low. Based on phenomena in the field, it was found that (1) learning planning (RPP) had not been created optimally because RPPs were made in a copy paste culture; (2) in implementing learning, some teachers still predominantly use conventional methods such as the lecture method, the learning process is boring and students become passive; (3) in implementing learning, some teachers have not used various media. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of work discipline, workload and compensation on the performance of high school English teachers in Banjarmasin City, both partially and simultaneously. The type of research used is a quantitative research method with a sample size of 60 respondents. Data collection methods are by means of questionnaires, interviews and document studies. The data analysis includes variable measurement, descriptive data analysis, data analysis with SEM PLS, model measurement, and hypothesis testing. The research results show that work discipline and workload have a significant effect on the performance of English teachers in Banjarmasin City, while compensation does not have a significant effect on the performance of English teachers in Banjarmasin City. Work Discipline, Workload and Compensation simultaneously influence and contribute to Teacher Performance (Y) by 54.3%.
