Abstract

This activity was empowerment community programme assisted by CSR PT. Bukit Asam Tbk Pelabuhan Tarahan Lampung. This research is a series of activities in an effort to preserve Mangrove plantation forests in Pesawaran Regency, Lampung province in collaboration with CSR PT. Bukit Asam, Tarahan Pelabuhan Panjang. The specific aim is to explore and screen Mangrove plants that have the potential to be used as food. There were 2 (two) types of Mangrove plants studied, namely the Mangrove species Rhizopora apiculata and Rhizophora mucronata. The first step of the research was to carry out phytochemical screening to identify chemical content and bioactive compounds using qualitative methods, and the bioactive compounds identified were flavonoids, saponins, tannins, tripertenoids and steroids as well as phenolic compounds. The third step is to test the main components of chemical compounds using proximate analysis which include tests for water content, ash content, total fat, protein and carbohydrates as well as crude fiber components. Chemical content test results of proximate analysis of mangrove fruit Rhizopora apiculata and Rhizophora mucronata for water content; ash content; total fat content; protein content; and carbohydrates each one were 64,99; 3,61;8,11; 0,31; 12,49; 22,95 (%) and 64,25; 3,25; 10,67; 0,74; 1,74, 21,10 (%).The aim of the phytochemical test is to determine the presence of secondary metabolite compounds distributed in plant parts. The research continued with trials of making Rhizopora fruit into food products such as sticks and crackers. The overall sensory test results showed a good level of panelist acceptance of snack food substituted with mangrove flour

Abstract

The aim of the research is to create and develop a pentahelix model for the sustainability performance of oil palm plantation companies in south Sumatra province and formulate a pentahelix model strategy for the sustainability performance of oil palm plantation companies. The research object involves elements of the pentahelix, namely the government, in this case the south Sumatra province plantation service, academics at the agricultural faculty of Sriwijaya University, the community ,namely Gapki (a combination of oil palm business associations).Businesses are in seven palm oil plantation companies in south Sumatra Province and also online media and offline Sumatra Express.Qualitative methods and analyzing data through soft system methodology. The findings of this research show that there are 3 pillars of oil palm plantation companies that must be considered in developing sustainable performance and to obtain measurable and targeted results they should be included in the vision of long-term development plans. The first is to meet food needs from domestic production, the second is to regulate food policy independently and the third is to the protect and prosfer farmers as the main business actors in palm oil companies.Thereare many strategic matters and issues for the benefit of regional development together with palm oil companies which have a vital role in developing sustainable performance of oil plantation companies that are able to absorb palm oil production. So that companies get a guarantee that the palm oil produced will be absorbed at agood price, conducting training for increasing company productivity throught government supervisory institutions and providing adquateinfrastructure so that distribution run smoothly.Tows analysis illustrates how the external opportunities and threats faced by the company can be adjusted to the company’s strengths and weaknesses.Novelty research is a sustainable performance model and a pentahelix conception model by adding elements of oil palm plantation companies as one of the factors that can be implemented in the sustainable performance of oil palm plantation companies in south Sumatra Province

Abstract

Empowerment of pond farmers is an important effort that must be done in terms of improving the economy of rural communities. Partnership is a mutually beneficial business partnership between pond farmers and partner companies accompanied by guidance and development by partner companies. However, the problem is that the management of shrimp ponds, especially panamy shrimp, is not always successful. Many pond farmers experience crop failure. In recent times more crops have failed than succeeded. For this, a local government response is needed to encourage pond farmers to build partners with various business entities in order to realize the resilience of their businesses. This study aims to analyze the application of the Partner Model in Empowering Paname Shrimp Farmers in Muar Batu District. It is hoped that this research can produce solutions in increasing the resilience of Vaname Shrimp Farms (Aspects of Capital, Human Resources, Infrastructure, Production and Marketing Aspects Study).
