Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. to determine and evaluate the relative contributions of physical fitness and learning motivation to the learning outcomes of students in the 7–9 age range. Materials and methods. The purpose of correlation approaches is to quantitatively ascertain if and to what extent two or more variables are correlated. Data is analyzed using the statistical techniques of correlation and multiple regression utilizing the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution Version 25) software. Before the advent of statistical methods for hypothesis testing. Use the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (uji K-S) to check for data normality. Results. The coefficient of correlation for rx12y = 0.49 is indicated. Koefisisen korelasi signifikansi diperoleh F hitung 4,37>t tabel 3,35, dengan distribusi t dengan α = 0,05 dan k = 2 sebagai pembilang dan (n–k–1) sebagai dk penyebut. In other words, there is a positive correlation between the Jasmani Motivasi Belajar and the Penjasorkes Learning Outcomes, which are 0,492 x 100%, or 0,24 x 100%, or 24%. Conclusions. Students' willingness and excitement to participate in physical education learning activities will be influenced by their motivation for learning. A learner who understands effective learning motivation would attempt to inspire themself to learn well. Since achieving satisfactory learning outcomes is one of the goals of the processes and activities that take place in the classroom, teachers are crucial in helping students develop motivation for learning and improving their physical fitness.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. Mastery of fundamental techniques in hockey is essential for players. Mastery enables player cooperation to achieve the game's objective. Key techniques include dribbling and pushing the ball, applicable in both indoor and field hockey. These techniques are vital for effective gameplay. In indoor hockey, only dribbling techniques are permitted according to regulations. Practice enhances dribbling skills, requiring repetitive training. This study aims to compare indoor and field hockey training effectiveness on dribbling mastery. Materials and methods. An experimental method was employed, utilizing 24 athletes from Sambas Hockey Club, divided into two groups. Results. The results indicate a significant improvement in dribbling technique mastery in the indoor training group. Conclusions. The research concludes that indoor hockey training significantly enhances basic dribbling technique mastery compared to field hockey training.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The objective of this study is to assess the fundamental forehand and backhand tennis movement competencies for beginner PLTI tennis players in the Sekadau district. Materials and methods. The study utilized observation, interviews, and questionnaires as primary data sources. Secondary data included documentation and training session attendance records. Triangulation was employed in data collection through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis adhered to Miles and Huberman's interactive model, involving data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Observational data revealed athletes' deficiencies in foot and hand positioning during racket swings. Interviews indicated that training processes were hindered by issues such as non-standard balls, management difficulties, and athlete distractibility. Results. The questionnaire results revealed insufficient performance by athletes, especially in question 7 about foot positioning in forehand and backhand techniques. Thus, the data imply a lack of fundamental proficiency in forehand and backhand technical movements among PELTI tennis court athletes at Sekadau Regency Beginners. Conclusions. The examination of Forehand and Backhand competencies in Field Tennis for PELTI novice athletes in Sekadau district is inadequate. Observational and interview findings reveal subpar performance metrics. Numerous athletes attain scores that are deemed insufficient and unsatisfactory.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. This study aims to determine the feasibility of developing laseaban bags in boxing. Materials and methods. The research sample was 30 athletes. The feasibility of the bag is first validated by experts, namely equipment experts, material experts (boxing coaches), and sports experts. Furthermore, small group tests and large group tests are tested on athletes. Results. In a large group test with a total of 20 (twenty) athletes with 3 (aspects) with an indicator of the suitability of the bag with the comfort of using the bag, an indicator of implementation, and an indicator of user interest with 10 (ten) questions. With an average score of 4.35 with a percentage of 97.00% in the very good category. Conclusions. The following is a response to the interest of athletes when using or using a tool developed by the researcher, namely the laseaban bag.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The primary objective of this research is to analyze the link between running technique proficiency and long jump performance in 10 to 11-year-old elementary students. Materials and methods. A sample of 28 male students, aged 10 to 11 years, was selected for this study. A cross-sectional research design was utilized to investigate the relationship between basic running techniques and long jump performance in this demographic. Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to assess the association between running methodologies and long jump effectiveness. The results of this analysis determined the strength and direction of the relationship between the two variables. Results. The analysis yielded a significant correlation coefficient of r= 0.917, with a p-value of 0.000<0.005, indicating a strong positive correlation. This finding suggests that students' skills in body alignment, arm swing, and leg coordination in running are closely related to their ability to generate the power, speed, and control necessary for superior long jump performance. Conclusions. This study provides empirical support for the claim that proficiency in fundamental running techniques, including body alignment, arm swing, and leg coordination, correlates significantly with improved long jump performance in 10 to 11-year-old elementary school students.
