Abstract

Siswa kelas satu SD Negeri 01 Way Pisang memiliki kemampuan calistung (membaca, menulis, dan matematika dasar) yang sangat lemah, oleh karena itu penelitian ini diperlukan. Hal ini disebabkan karena kita masih menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang sangat konvensional dan kaku. Kemampuan membaca, menulis, dan berhitung dapat ditingkatkan melalui penggunaan pendekatan pembelajaran tematik, yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan pendekatan penelitian dua siklus yang digunakan. Untuk penelitian ini, dua puluh delapan siswa kelas satu menjadi partisipan. Metode yang dipergunakan dalam mengumpulkan data ialah dokumentasi, pengujian hasil belajar, serta observasi. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan paradigma pembelajaran tematik dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kinerja siswa dalam membaca, menulis, dan matematika secara signifikan. Penguasaan kalistung klasik meningkat menjadi 70% pada siklus pertama dan 85% pada siklus kedua. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa strategi tematik membantu siswa bertransisi dari PAUD ke sekolah dasar dengan lebih lancar.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the free nutritious meal program in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SDN 2 Gedompol. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The participants consisted of fourth and fifth grade students, Islamic education teachers, and school personnel. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that the implementation of the free nutritious meal program contributes to enhancing students’ learning readiness and concentration during PAI lessons. In addition, the program supports the internalization of Islamic values such as gratitude, discipline, cooperation, and proper eating manners. The learning environment also becomes more conducive, which positively influences the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the program not only addresses students’ nutritional needs but also plays a significant role in supporting the quality of PAI learning in elementary school settings.

Abstract

Pendidikan di tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) merupakan masa transisi krusual di mana minat belajar siswa harus di pupuk secara optimal. Namun, kenyataan di lapagan menunjukkan adanya keberagaman kemampuan kognitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru sebagai motivator dalam mengeksplorasi minat belajar siswa berkemampuan kognitif rendah serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi guru di MI Wahana Ilmi Gondosari. Pendidikan merupakan salah satu aspek yag sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Guru merupakan komponen penting di bidang Pendidikan juga dalam proses pembelajaran. Adapula banyak cara pengajar dalam meningkatkan minat belajar seperti dijelaskan oleh Slameto, yaitu: Menggunakan minat-minat yang ada, membentuk minat belajar yang baru, menghubungkan dengan peristiwa sensasional, memakai insentif dalam usaha mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Siswa dengan kemampuan kognitif rendah sering kali mengalami krisis kepercayaan diri dan kehilangan minat belajar karena merasa tertinggal dari teman sebayanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Data ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yang melibatkan guru kelas, siswa berkemampuan kognitif rendah, kepala madrasah, dan rekan sejawat. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran mendalam mengenai strategi motivasi yang efektif dalam mengakselerasi minat belajar siswa yang lambat belajar (slow learner). Kata Kunci: Peran Guru, Motivator, Minat Belajar, Kemampuan Kognitif Rendah

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur'an (tahfidz) is a fundamental component of Islamic education that contributes significantly to a Muslim's spiritual and intellectual growth. However, in practice, many students (santri) encounter challenges in the memorization process, including difficulties with concentration, the use of less effective methods, and limited time available for focused memorization. This study aims to examine the implementation of the talaqqi method in improving the quality of Qur'an memorization among students at Adab Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Baleharjo, Pacitan. The talaqqi method is a learning approach in which students engage directly with the teacher through listening, imitating, and receiving immediate correction of their recitation. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the application of the talaqqi method enhances the quality of students' memorization, particularly in term of accurate tajwid and makhraj (pronunciation), fluency, and proper etiquette in reciting the Qur'an. Supporting factors identified include a conducive learning environment, strong student motivation and discipline, support from parent and the surrounding community, and a structured learning system. On the other hand, inhibiting factors include low motivation and inconsistency among students, limited instructional time, variations in students' abilities, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and insufficient repetition (muraja'ah).

Abstract

Character education must be instilled from an early age in children. the formation of character in children begins while they are still in the womb, until they are born and grow up in their surrounding environment. The roles of those closest to them greatly influence a child’s character, including the parenting roles of parents, teachers, and the people in the child’s developmental environment. The scope of the study is about the implementation of character program that applied to students, the character values produced, and the character evaluations which was conducted at SD Plus Rahmat Kota Kediri. This research used qualitative method by using data collection techniques of interview, observation, and documents, with the model analysis interactive techniques. The Novelty of this research is the character habituation program implemented during intra-curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities. The values of character that are implemented include religiousness, curiosity, social care, discipline, and creativity. The evaluation is conducted by holding tiered class meetings and teacher training workshop programs. This research is expected to serve as a source of reference and study for the application of practices related to character habituation among students, also becomes an alternative policy applied in schools related to the character building program of students.
