Abstract

This research was conducted at Pasar Muara Bungo District. The location was chosen on purpose or "purposive". The location was chosen because it was included in 3 (three) Districts that had a high level of golput (white group) compared to other Districts in Bungo Regency, namely 4.817 voters or 10,5%. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the high level of abstention from the community in the 2011 Pemilukada Bungo Regency in Pasar Muara Bungo District. The method in this research is quantitative with data taken from the Permanent Voters List (DPT) of the Bungo Regency Pemilukada in 2011. The results show that among the factors that cause low levels of community participation in post-conflict local elections are socio-economic factors, passive community participation and psychological and rational factors

Abstract

The phenomenal victory of the Sukandar-Hamdi pair in the re-election of Tebo district, in fact, cannot be separated from the expertise of a political strategy actor, both in reading opportunities in political momentum and reading trends in voter behavior in the Tebo area. This research was conducted in Tebo Regency, Jambi. The location which became the research location was chosen purposively (intentionally), namely in Tebo Regency, Jambi Province. Because the phenomenon of the Pemilukada in Tebo district which is the only regional head election in Jambi Province whose implementation is repeated, due to demands from the opposing parties participating in the other post-conflict local elections. This research method is a qualitative method. The results of this study found that the political strategy used by the Sukandar-Hamdi pair in winning the post-conflict local election in Tebo Regency was to form a success team or team consisting of community leaders, women, and witnesses at TPS, holding outreach to kecamtan and villages in Tebo Regency. , conducting campaigns by making a vision and mission and bringing in artists in open campaigns, using the mistakes of opponents that have been decided in the Constitutional Court to influence voters, inviting survey institutions to conduct political research

Abstract

This research was conducted in Giri Purno Village, Rimbo Ilir District, Tebo Regency. The location of the research will be carried out in Giri Purno Village, Rimbo Ilir District, Tebo Regency. This location was chosen "purposively" that is intentionally. Considering the condition of the area which shows the low level of women's participation in the development of Giri Purno Village in terms of village consultations, formulation, planning and implementation of development. Abstract

The values ​​of power possessed by traditional holders or ninik mamak in the Bungo Malay community can be seen from their position in the tuo house. Tuo's house is one of the cultural relics of ancient Malay, Jambi's house is synonymous with Old Malay customs. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method which is a case study. Research informants were selected by purposive sampling method. The results of the study found that the values ​​of power in the carving of the tuo house in Kampung Baruh Village, Tabir District, Merangin Regency, can be seen from the carvings on the tuo house ornaments, including: Carving of Keluk Paku (Pakis Wood) means that every development actor (leader) must be able to protect the The function and role it carries, Tampuk Manggis Carving means that the inner tribe shows politeness, sweet-faced hospitality to any guests who come. Carved Rope Philosophy of a strong bond and close kinship in the family, Carving Mensinding Gulung Paku (Pakis) showing the boundaries between mamak grandmothers, traditional elders, religious leaders with family and guest rooms, Carving Roots related to inner tribes if married their children from elements (matched) from their own family or from the same tribe. The efforts of the Merangin Regency Government in preserving the existence of tuo houses in Kampung Baruh Village, Tabir District, Merangin Regency, include making the area attractive, improving facilities and infrastructure and increasing accessibility.

Abstract

In the social life of indigenous Malay community has an important role, both as a basis for the action, as well as how to solve the problems. Lembaga Adat Melayu Dusun Muara Kuamang has been actively involved in land conflicts in Hamlet menyelsasikan Kuamang Estuary. This study examines the strategies of the Institute of Traditional Malay village in Muara Kuamang menyelelesaikan land conflicts in Dusun Muara Kuamang. This research was conducted in Muara Kuamang Hamlet with the research period January to April 2020. The results of the study found that customary law can be used as an alternative to conflict resolution that is more knowledgeable and prudent. Customary law is able to provide a major role in resolving land conflicts that occur in the hamlet of Muara Kuamang. Abstract

The replanting, which was carried out for the first time in the Kuamang Valley hamlet in 2018, which was funded by the BPDPKS grant, was carried out on an area of ​​110 hectares that participated in the registration of 51 oil palm farmers. However, in its implementation there are various obstacles that make the program not run well in Lembah Kuamang Hamlet. This research method uses a qualitative method with the selection of informants by purposive sampling. The results of the study found that the oil palm replanting policy at KUD Citra Merkadi Dusun Lembah Kuamang had not run according to the rules set out in the Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 6 of 2018 concerning Palm Oil Relanting Guidelines which occurred due to various obstacles that arise in the implementation of replanting coconut plantations. oil palm in the hamlet of Lembah Kuamang, Pelapat Ilir sub-district, Bungo regency. Constraints in replanting are the difficulty of communicating with operators who handle the implementation of rejuvenation of oil palm plantations in the village of Kuamang valley, the absence of socialization to the community of oil palm farmers and the workforce who have experienced complete cessation due to non-current wages from contractors. As for the efforts made by the Village Unit Cooperative (KUD) in solving the problems that are happening in the valley of Kuamang, the village unit cooperative gives a warning to the contractors and operators and finally decides on a contract with the operator and looks for another contractor who is more professional.

Abstract

The year-end report from the Market Management and Hygiene Service stated that user fees from the market are one of the local revenue sources that generate the most user fees. However, in achieving its realization, it is very difficult to achieve, this can be seen from the receipt of the Bungur Bungur market levy for the last 2 years. Bungur Market retribution collection is not optimal, it can be seen in the table above from 2013-2014 the realization of market retribution in Bungo Regency, especially Bungur Market, has never met the target. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The method used to find informants using "purposive sampling". The results of the study found that the efforts made by the Department of Market Management and Hygiene of Bungo Regency in overcoming the high arrears of levies were holding outreach to kiosk owners or occupants about the importance of paying retribution for regional development, collecting door to door retribution, empowering the Regional Enforcement Work Unit. Regional regulations to help collect levies, provide strict sanctions for non-paying retribution obligations. The obstacles faced by the Market Management and Hygiene Service in overcoming the high arrears of retribution at the Bungur Market, Bungo Regency, include the absence of strict sanctions for non-paying levies, the large number of owners who are given placement permits by the Bungo Regency Market Management and Hygiene Service to rent back. to other people or other traders so that the tenant feels no obligation to pay levies and the economic situation has not been stable, especially for the city of Muara Bungo in the last 2 (two) years

Abstract

This study investigates the impoliteness strategies in online comments in Liputan6.com. The objectives of this study are: 1) to investigate the types of impoliteness strategies used on online comments in website Liputan6.com, 2) to find out the dominant type of impoliteness strategies used on online comments in website Liputan6.com. This study was conducted by using qualitative content analysis method. The data were taken from comments of internet users in five topics of political news in Idntimes.com. The finding showed that four of five types of impoliteness strategies are used on online comments in website Liputan6.com. They are: Bald on Record, Positive impoliteness, Negative Impoliteness, and Sarcasm or Mock politeness. The dominant types is negative impoliteness by used scorn or ridicules comments and invade the other's space with that comments and explicitly associate the other with a negative aspect.
