Abstract

In the era of Dutch colonialism in Indonesia, with the trilogy of Western imperialism Gold, Gospel, and Glory, they not only came to dominate Indonesia's wealth but also extracted and embodied the faith of Muslims. In Central Sulawesi, many Christian missionaries were sent by the Dutch to sow the teachings of the Gospel so that to this day there are Christian congregation centers there. Areas with a strong Christianity are Poso and its surrounding areas in the interior, but at the same time, many inland and coastal areas in eastern Sulawesi are also very Muslim. One of the emerging identities in the community and network of the Bugis people. This study aims to determine the socio-political dynamics of the Bugis people and the Islamization of society in the East Sulawesi region. The approach used is a qualitative approach, with the type of literature study research, and Miles and Huberman's data analysis models, namely: data reduction, data display, and a conclusion or drawing or verifying. Based on the research results, the Bugis people are one and even the only ethnic group that has influenced East Sulawesi the most in terms of Islamic belief, which is predominantly dominated by the Bone Bugis. And the interaction patterns they built in the process of Islamization of the people of East Sulawesi, there are 5, namely: 1) Syiar Da'wah, 2) Trade (economy), 3) Settlement (Marriage), 4) Politics, 5) Education.

Abstract

Character education is education that is related to the character, values, and norms that apply in society. This study aims to determine the development of character education values in history students in the new normal era. Character education in the New Normal is a problem that must be known as the material for this research. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative study. The sources in this study are the results of observations of researchers in the field which were developed with other sources such as interviews, sources of books and relevant research journals to be studied. The results and discussion of this research is that education in New Normal Era Universities is in the pandemic era and the New Normal era due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Universities are experiencing the impact of this. Universities must begin to adjust to the new conditions that occur in Indonesia. Even though it has entered the New Normal era, universities still have to be disciplined in maintaining the process that the government wants. This is very important to save the Indonesian people so that the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak can be resolved properly. While character education in the New Normal era is the condition of History students during learning activities during the New Normal era. The behavior caused by History students during online and face-to-face learning is limited to being studied to determine the level of character that is the subject of research. Basically, the problems that arise during learning in the New Normal era are related to the formation of the attitude of History students to remain conducive during the New Normal era.

Abstract

The city of Semarang has experienced a long historical journey. The current form of Semarang is the result of changes over time. Semarang is the capital of Central Java province, as the provincial capital of course Semarang has faster progress compared to other cities in Central Java. Since colonial times, Semarang has indeed developed into a developed and crowded city. The history of Semarang began more or less in the 8th century AD, namely a coastal area called Pragota (now Bergota) and was part of the ancient Mataram kingdom.

Abstract

Research on the growth of metal music in Indonesia in the late 1980s aims to identify the background for the emergence of metal music in Indonesia and to see the enthusiasm of young people for metal music and bring metal music to the Indonesian culture. On the other hand, the method used in this research is a historical research method with 4 stages, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The result of this research is the history of the emergence of metal music in Indonesia, the enthusiasm of young people towards metal music began to emerge in the 1980s. The bond between metal music and Indonesian culture is very opposite to the cultural background of Indonesians who have friendly and polite behavior, are wise, far from aggressive.

Abstract

Learning strategy is a plan that contains a series of activities that are tailored to achieve certain educational goals. In the world of education there are many types of learning strategies used. Every learning strategy has its advantages and disadvantages. For this reason, every teacher must be able to choose the right learning strategy in delivering different materials so that the learning goals are achieved and maximized. For this reason, researchers want to research a Billboard Ranking learning strategy where learning activities are more considerate of students, students are given the widest opportunity to develop themselves, according to pieget, students must actively interact with their learning environment. This can help gain understanding for students.

Abstract

The concept of Driyarkara education is an educational concept that cannot be separated from the process of hominization and humanization. The process is intended to become a human being who reaches the level of humanity through character education. Historical education contains various historical events whose moral messages can be taken as a form of inculcating character education in students. This study discusses the relevance between the concept of Driyarkara education and character education in historical education. This study uses qualitative methods and literature study to collect various sources related to this study. The purpose of writing this study is to determine the relevance between the concept of Driyarkara education and character education in historical education. The material content in history contains various moral values that can be taken and instilled in students, so that the process is a process of humanizing young people and the process of becoming human beings who reach the level of humanity through character education.

Abstract

This article was created to complete an Indonesian history coursework. In writing an article entitled “PNI Political Organizations After 1926”, this research was conducted using the historical or historical method, which is the method used to describe events that have occurred in the past. Which consists of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and then historiography. The first historical research procedure is heuristics. This stage is the initial stage in processing, finding and collecting sources of information or documents needed and related to the problems discussed. As a result of the failure of the PKI in carrying out a rebellion against the Dutch colonial government in 1926/1927, many minds at that time felt the need for a new forum or place or organization to become a place or channel for the aspirations of the people. In 1926, about two years after Cokroaminoto published his writings "Islam and Socialism", Bung Karno then created his creation which was at the same time the third of the writings of his teacher Cokroaminoto. Bung Karno's third ideology was "Nationalism, Islamism, and Marxism" which was later known as Nasakom, the three ideologies that would later animate the soul of Bung Karno's movement and the political organizations he founded. The nature of the PNI itself is anti-colonialism and non-cooperation.

Abstract

An area that is rich in historical heritage objects is certainly an advantage to be proud of. The richer the history, of course, an area will certainly have advanced and many museums. One of the areas awarded with extraordinary historical objects is Bojonegoro Regency. Bojonegoro is an area where there are many historical relics, including paleontological objects such as ancient animal fossils. Therefore, it is not surprising that in Bojonegoro there are several museums, one of which is Museum 13 which focuses on paleontology. The existence of Museum 13 which is located in the Elementary School area has provided benefits for students, especially when the archaeological extracurricular was established which of course is used as a source of learning history for students. This study aims to describe Museum 13, how the process of establishing and implementing archaeological extracurricular activities and its use as a source of learning history for elementary school students. The method used is historical research method which is carried out in four stages. The first stage is heuristics or data collection, verification, interpretation, and writing of history or historiography.

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia had an impact on the education sector, including the implementation of supervision in schools. Therefore, strategies and techniques for carrying out supervision are needed in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to describe the results of observations regarding the implementation of supervision at SMAN 1 Rupat in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method was carried out using a qualitative research type with a case study approach. Data collection is done by observation, documents, interviews, and literature study. The results showed that the implementation of educational supervision at SMAN 1 Rupat went well by utilizing platforms such as Google Meet and Whatsapp to support the implementation of educational supervision. This is inseparable from the strategies and techniques used in supervision. It is hoped that this can also be a best practice for other schools. However, there are still challenges, such as a poor internet network.

Abstract

Meja Bundar Conference held in Den Haag at 1949 was an achievement in the diplomatic process of the Indonesian nation to show its existence as an independent and politically sovereign country. However, on the economic aspect, the results of the conference did not favor the Indonesian government. The Dutch debt burden was imposed on the Indonesian government as a reciprocity for the Dutch recognition of Indonesia's political sovereignty. As a country that is young and unstablished economically yet, of course the requirements are very burdensome. Therefore, the government is looking for an effective way out to meet these requirements. One of the paths taken is to nationalize foreign companies that were still operating at the time. The decision also considered suitable to build the foundation of the national economy and dismantle the colonial economic system that had previously been formed. So to achieve this goal, political elites and society, especially laborer must be participated. This article, written using historical methods, aims to elaborate on the colaboration between political elites and laborer an effort to nationalize foreign companies in the 1950’s from a historical materialism perspective.
