Abstract

From the exposure to the results of the interview, it can be concluded about the implementation of Teacher Performance Assessment (PKG) at SMK Negeri 1 Sangatta Utara as follows: First, the implementation of PKG by the principal and assistant has been going well, this is illustrated from the results of observations and interviews in the field of all interviewees who were asked answered that they had been in PKG by the principal and assessors from the element of senior teachers. In principle, teachers are happy in PKG because PKG is a part of the teacher quality development program. From the implementation of the PKG, the teacher knows the location of the advantages and disadvantages in carrying out tasks within one academic year. Second, based on data in the field, there are still many teachers who do not know what components are assessed by the school principal in implementing PKG. The teacher assumes that PKG is the same as the implementation of supervision, which is what is assessed by the learning device and process. Supervision is part of the PKG because the implementation of the PKG also requires class visits by the principal to find out how teachers teach. To provide an understanding that informs teachers about the implementation of the PKG and what components are being assessed, the principal needs to socialize to the teacher about what components are assessed in the implementation of the PKG. This socialization needs to be done so that teachers have the same perception of the implementation of PKG by the school principal. Third, the principal needs to evaluate the PKG implementation that has been implemented. This evaluation aims to determine the extent of the success of the PKG implementation and the contribution of PKG to improving the quality of teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Sangatta Utara. Things that need to be evaluated include planning the PKG, organizing the PKG, implementing the PKG. The school principal needs to involve and invite discussion of the components involved in implementing the PKG.

Abstract

This study aims to know the preparation, implementation, and results of the application used in applying gadgets on how to write in grade 4. To overcome the difficulties learners face in writing, the teacher practised a learning model using scolds greet apps, which is a program application that connects voice to text and text to voice. Scolds application gadgets using colour note and greet applications gadget using voice aloud reader. The usage of scolds greet gadget apps can overcome students' difficulties in finding ideas and making easy-to-write concepts. To bring a positive change in the interest of learners in writing. The evidence can be seen from the recapitulation of marks in each meeting increased. The first meeting has an average of 7.83, the second meeting has 11.48, and at the third meeting, it has changed to 13.72. the results of questionnaires and interviews from 34 students only 12 people who like to write essays, after applied scold greet gadgets from 34 students, 28 learners to be like to write essays.

Abstract

What Rasulullah SAW did during the Medina period was a continuous effort from what he had previously taught while still in Mecca. However, all the policies and strategies carried out by the Prophet in Medina are a development and a step forward to form a civil society that is faithful, polite, clever, tolerant, upholds differences, and has extensive knowledge. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this article describes the strategy, materials and educational institutions of the Prophet in the Medina period through scientific articles and reference books. Building mosques, resolving conflicts and establishing the state of Medina were the strategies carried out by the Prophet Muhammad in Medina to build a new civilization and power under the banner of Islam. And by being taught some educational material in the form of monotheism, al-Qur'an, economics, social, politics, and brotherhood. And the emergence of several Islamic educational institutions in the form of mosques, suffah and kuttab, have become evidence that what the Prophet Muhammad did was an effort to make humans more civilized and knowledgeable compared to previous times, when Islam had not yet arrived in the Arabian peninsula.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the role of digital libraries as support for distance learning during a pandemic. This research uses the type of literature study conducted to prepare a research framework and make use of general literature sources to obtain research data. The stages of research carried out in this library research are determining the topics to be studied, searching for and selecting data by the focus of the study, conducting source analysis, and developing data by the focus of the research and concluding it. The result is that the library as a support and learning resource must adapt to distance learning patterns so that libraries that were originally only a pile of books and are still traditional have to change their service patterns to a digital library model so that it makes it easier for users to take advantage of the library during the Covid-19 pandemic. To maximize the role of digital libraries, students must also actively increase their learning independence and must have awareness of students and the role of parents in directing, helping, guiding, and motivating students so that good collaboration between students and parents can be created. and teachers in optimizing the role of digital libraries in distance learning. Thus it will create a reading habit for students from their awareness and will further increase the effectiveness of learning at distance during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The importance of the existence of mathematics should be accompanied by a positive impression from students. However, the fact is that the majority of students show a negative impression at the beginning of the fourth semester learning process in February 2020. The negative impression of students on mathematics will have an impact on their low interest in learning and mastery of mathematics. Economic Mathematics learning since the Covid-19 pandemic was continued by using the Whatsapp media. A person's perception can differ from others depending on the processes and conditions and what experiences have been through. The purpose of this study was to determine students' perceptions of learning Economic Mathematics through the Whatsapp Group media. This type of research is descriptive. The instrument for obtaining data was in the form of a questionnaire which was distributed to 70 students of the Syari'ah Economics Study Program at STAI Sangatta, East Kutai, who have completed the Mathematics Economics course. The results of descriptive data analysis show that the majority of students have a positive perception of learning Economics Mathematics through Whatsapp Group media with a percentage ranging from 50% to 61%. If the learning of Economic Mathematics courses in the future will continue to be carried out using the Whatsapp Group media, many improvements must be made by referring to the analysis of the indicators in this study. Or the use of other learning methods and media that have been proven to bring maximum results can be used as an alternative, of course, still considering the suitability of student characteristics.

Abstract

Awal bulan maret 2020 telah terdengar informasi terkait masuknya Covid-19 di beberapa wilayah Indonesia. Pemerintahan Kabupaten Kutai Timur menghimbau untuk menerapkan 3M yaitu memakai masker, mencuci tangan dan menjaga jarak. Kelompok KKL di desa Wanasari mengusahakan agar pelaksanaan sosialisasi terkait pembiasaan mencuci tangan dan menjaga kebersihan tetap dilaksanakan sesuai rencana kegiatan tanpa mengumpulkan masa untuk menghindari kerumunan. Mengingat pentingnya penyampaian informasi terkait pembiasaan mencuci tangan tersebut dan terdapatnya himbauan agar tidak mengumpulkan masa, maka digunakannya media visual poster sebagai media komunikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian tersebut digunakan untuk menjelaskan alur pembuatan dan pemanfaatan media poster untuk komunikasi visual di desa Wanasari Kecamatan Muara Wahau. Berdasarkan aktifitas masyarakat setelah ditempelkannya poster tersebut, kemudian dilakukan pengamatan dan penjabaran terkait aktifitas masyarakat dalam melakukan atau menerapakan membuang sampah pada tempatnya dan mencuci tangan sebelum dan sesudah beraktifitas sesuai himbauan yang telah ditampilkan pada media poster tempel. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk yaitu berupa lembaran poster dengan ukuran kertas tempel A4. Poster tersebut ditempel di tempat-tempat umum dan akan selalu dibaca oleh masyarakat. Hal itu merupakan manfaat poster untuk komunikasi visual. Program tersebut diharapkan dapat membentuk karakter masyarakat yang terbiasa menjaga kebersihan di desa Wanasari dan digunakan sebagai bahan referensi oleh pengurus desa Wanasari dalam menginformasikan cara membiasakan hidup bersih serta diharapkan dapat membantu pemahaman tentang pentingnya kebiasaan hidup sehat di desa Wanasari.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much the correlation between achievement motivation and learning discipline of class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Sangatta North. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a significant correlation between achievement motivation and the learning discipline of class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Sangatta North. This study uses data collection techniques that complement each other, namely the questionnaire technique to obtain research data by scoring from 135 respondents which are then processed using the Product of the Moment Correlation formula, an observation technique to directly observe the activities of class XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Sangatta North, and documentation techniques to get some supporting data. To answer the problem formulation, how big is the correlation between achievement motivation and learning discipline, knowing the r_xy value is 0,404 which is greater than the r_table value of 0,169 with an interpretation value of 0,40 – 0,599 which means there is a correlation between achievement motivation and student learning discipline, but by looking The correlation interpretation table is moderate. And to answer the hypothesis in the study, knowing the t_count value is 5,093 which is greater than the t_table value 1,978 with a significance level of 5% or 0,05 means that H_a is accepted so that the variable X (achievement motivation) has a significant correlation with the variable Y (discipline student learning).

Abstract

This article aims to analyze and describe the implementation and implications of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) for orphans and street children at the Berkas Bersinar Abadi Lamongan foundation. This article uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were the head of the foundation, members of the Islamic religious education supervisor, orphans and street children. The results showed that: (1) Islamic religious education for orphans and street children at the Berkas Bersinar Abadi Lamongan foundation was divided into three trainings; Akidah Education, Moral Education, and Moral Education, (2) the implementation of Islamic religious education for orphans and street children at the Berkas Bersinar Abadi Lamongan foundation which is applied to objects of development such as religious values ​​or religious values ​​with good morals or noble character, congregational prayers, recitations and several other forms of religious activities as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad and his companions. (3) Positive implications; can interpret the two sentences of the Shahadah. Forming children's mental and character, and always being grateful for every gift He has given in this life.

Abstract

The presence of the idea of the era of society 5.0 makes the world, including Indonesia, have to work hard to face this shift. His quick arrival offers hope and convenience for the future of mankind. However, behind the offer, the erosion of the character of students is also a concern in the world of education. The curriculum at educational institutions is currently not effective enough to strengthen character. This paper tries to explore and offer a curriculum design that is oriented to the customs and culture of the community which is formulated on the development of information technology in character building. This study is a literature study, the primary data sources in this study are books and journals related to the era of society 5.0 and its impact on character. Secondary data is news/information from various media and the internet that are relevant to the research topic. The data obtained is then interpreted using descriptive analysis to get conclusions using the inductive deductive method. The results of the study show that the era of society 5.0 has an impact on character erosion, for that it is necessary to strengthen character through curriculum design which includes the formulation of a mission-based on traditional and cultural values, assessment of learning needs before the education process, setting curriculum goals based on character strengthening, using digital-based educational strategies, and strengthening educators with an understanding of traditional and cultural values and the ability to innovate learning media.

Abstract

Teachers in the learning process in the classroom are seen as being able to play an important role, especially in helping students to build positive attitudes in learning, arouse curiosity, encourage independence and accuracy of intellectual logic, and create conditions for success in learning. This study aims to determine the integration of HOTS in PAI and Budi Pekerti subjects, in this case, the learning of SD Muhammadiyah 2 North Sangatta teachers. This study uses a type of qualitative research field research (fields work research). This means that in this research, the researcher immediately jumps into the field to start research on the target object that has been determined in order to obtain data and information in accordance with what is needed in the study. The data collected is not in the form of numbers, but the data comes from the results of observations, interviews and documentation. There are research findings conducted by SD Muhammadiyah 2 Sangatta Utara teachers in the learning process based on higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), namely students are able to process, conceptualize and conclude in which students can solve problems by thinking creatively, critically, and able to argue in making decisions. a decision from the assignment given to the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and character in schools.
