Abstract

This research is educational policy research in schools with the aim of fostering scientific writing to improve the career and professionalism of teachers in foster schools. This research was carried out in five (5) development schools consisting of SMP Negeri 2 Sangatta Utara, SMP Negeri 4 Muara Bengkal, SMP Negeri 4 Sandaran, and SMP Negeri 5 Sandaran for the academic year 2021/2022, with the research subjects of 30 teachers and objects research on the development of teaching scientific writing.The methodology used in this study is to use the Deming Cycle (plant, do, control, action). The findings of the research on the development of scientific writings for teachers in foster schools with the following components: (1) plans for writingscientific papers in the professional development of teachers in foster schools have gone very well, with 95% of activity plans running according to indicators (2) plans implementation of teacher scientific writing developmentwith in-house training 90% went very well, (3) the results of the implementation of teacher scientific writing development had compiled scientific papers as many as 23 teachers or about 76%, (4) followup results went well. good, 7 teachers, or 23% of teachers are continuously trained to improve teacher career development.The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in the development of scientific writing for teachers in foster schools, teachers innovate following self-development according to their competencies according their era.

Abstract

Memorizing is the way of the learning process to receive the material that has been learned. There is an important subject at elementary school, it is tajwid. The materials in Tajwid must be memorized by the learner. There are 15 alphabets of ikhfa’ that must be memorized quickly and easily and also have strong memorization if they will be needed soon. Thus, the researcher researched that has titled implementation of mnemonic as an alternative method to memorize ikhfa’ alphabets. The researcher used a qualitative approach. This research has 14 participants then who are called learners. In the mnemonic method, the teacher arranged the words that represent the alphabet of ikhfa’ and then combined them with the picture that has found or searched by the teacher. The learner follows the voice of the teacher three times about arranging the word ikhfa’. The word is Pak Dhodzo Tsadzin teko Shoqo Kutho pakai Jaz, Syafatu dan Dasi. Then, after memorizing and the learner has memorized the sentences, the teacher tested them to write or speak the 15 alphabets of ikhfa’. Based on the researcher’s survey, all learners can mention 15 alphabets of ikhfa’. This research explains that the implemented mnemonic can be used as an alternative method to memorize 15 alphabets of ihkfa’.

Abstract

Globalization makes the use of technology in all fields very much needed. Technology is not only in the form of physical tools but in the form of software, one of which is the application of information systems and administration of Islamic education teachers (SIAGA Pendis). In 2019 the Ministry of Religion through the Directorate of Islamic Religious Education published an application called SIAGA. With this application, the Ministry of Religion provides easy administrative services, especially for PAI teachers who are in public schools. Based on this, researchers are interested in knowing how the administrative services of PAI teachers at public education institutions through the SIAGA application in East Kutai Regency. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with data collection from observations, interviews, and documentation.Furthermore, the data was analyzed using interactive analysis, namely by condensing the data, presenting the data, and ending with drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that administrative services through the SIAGA application are registration and data collection of Islamic Religious Education teachers, recruiting teachers to conduct Teacher Professional Education (PPG), validating teacher data, and opening teacher professional allowances. All of them automatically use the Religious Teacher Information and Administration System (SIAGA) application which is held by the operator in the Islamic Religious Education (PAIS) section of the Ministry of Religion of East Kutai Regency. Although there are still many obstacles, the Ministry of Religion always socializes the SIAGA application.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of use of learning media and the saturation of students when studying and student learning outcomes that have not been maximized. This study aims to determine the use of audio-visual learning media for SKI subjects in class XI MAN 03 Bantul Yogyakarta. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. This method was chosen because the purpose of the study was to determine the effect that arises from a treatment, namely the implementation of Islamic Cultural History learning using audio-visual media which was applied to the experimental group compared to the control group who studied Islamic Cultural History without using audio-visual media. Data collection is done by giving interviews, observations, documentation, and tests. Sources of data obtained from SKI teachers and students in class XI.Management of the use of audio-visual media at MAN 03 Bantul Yogyakarta is done by means of teachers planning learning by preparing an implementation plan for the learning process according to the curriculum, including materials, supporting tools, and evaluation tools. In the learning process, the teacher observes student attitudes and evaluates them. The implementation of this audio-video learning media is very helpful for teachers in increasing student interest and enthusiasm. It can be proven that student learning outcomes in the experimental class using audiovisuals are superior to those in the control class who are not given special treatment, it can be seen from the average results. The posttest score of the experimental class students is 87.10 with a total score of 2700. Meanwhile, the control class average is 71.29 with a total score of 2210.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the school literacy program, the supporting factors, and the inhibiting factors in improving the quality of Islamic religious education learning at SD YPPSB Sangatta. Qualitative research methods, with a phenomenological sociology approach. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the literacy movement program in improving the quality of PAI learning at SD YPPSB Sangatta is through a reading program 10-15 minutes before learning begins and a Al-Qur'an reading program, mandatory visits to the library and gift giving programs, holding literacy competitions and the program to make a writing with their own essays. The improvement in the quality of Islamic religious education learning at SD YPPSB Sangatta can be seen from the increased activeness of students in participating in learning activities, increased activeness in reading, increased concentration in listening and being able to express opinions. The increase in students' abilities can also be seen from students' success in doing work and the school's success in creating hafidzul Qur'an through the Bina Cinta Allah activity. Factors supporting the implementation of the literacy movement program at SD YPPSB Sangatta, namely the existence of suitable facilities and services from the library, availability of learning media, support from foundations, and good school leadership in implementing literacy. While the inhibiting factors are the occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic, the availability of textbooks that still need to be improved, the lack of interest in reading from students' excessive use of gadgets, and the personal motivation of each student in implementing literacy.

Abstract

In a heterogeneous society where people can live hand in hand, looking after each other and loving each other to live in harmony, a constructive learning effort is needed to build a common understanding and harmony about the internalization of the Pancasila profile. This article's research aims to describe and examine more deeply the extent to which the internalization of Pancasila student profiles forms the character of students in educational institutions to realize national education goals. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. In this study, the data obtained were analyzed using data analysis through library research research methods. The results of this study indicate that the internalization of Pancasila student profiles is an effort to strengthen character education. (1) having faith, piety to God Almighty, and having a noble character are key elements, namely faith and Spirituality are applied as guides and sources of support for individuals when navigating life's challenges (2) Global diversity is the ability of students to love differences (3) Gotong royong is a practice working together as a team, working together voluntarily to make tasks or activities smoother, easier and lighter (4) Creativity is the capacity of students to produce something original, significant, practical and impactful. This capacity can be seen in the ability of students to come up with original ideas, works, and actions. (5) Critical reasoning is the ability to solve problems and process information (6) Independence refers to having self-awareness of responsibility for learning processes and outcomes. But besides that, the results of this study also show that there are still some obstacles and gaps in the journey process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the Jigsaw learning model has on students' learning interest in PAI subjects at North Ibnu Sina Sangatta Middle School. The population in this study were all 31 students in class VIII because the population was less than 100 people. The results of the regression equation constant value (a) is 16,888 and (b) the jigsaw learning model is 0.644, so it can be seen that the simple linear regression model is: Y = 16,888 + 0.644. Based on the results of the hypothesis test from the t-test, it results that the Jigsaw learning model has a t-count of 4,906 with a significance level of 0.000 and therefore the t-count is greater than the t-table, namely 4,906 > 1,695, and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so Ha is accepted, thus the learning model Jigsaw (X) effects on students' interest in learning. (Y) in PAI subjects at the North Ibn Sina Sangatta Middle School. This means that the influence of the Jigsaw learning model on students' interest in Islamic education in class VIII SMP Ibnu Sina Sangatta Utara is 45.4%, while 54.6% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find out the context in limited face-to-face learning, (2) find out the input in limited face-to-face learning, (3) find out the process in limited face-to-face learning, (4) find out the results in limited face-to-face learning at SMP Negeri 2 North Sangatta. The method used in this study is the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) model. The results of the study obtained data that (1) the context in face-to-face learning is limited by the unpreparedness of learning facilities and infrastructure, the low ability of teachers and students in the use of information technology, (2) input in face-to-face learning is carried out not by the objectives, strategies, and learning needs required by students. (3) The process of implementing limited face-to-face learning is carried out by conducting learning in an uncoordinated and non-contextual manner. (4) Online learning outcomes have decreased learning outcomes and face-to-face learning has increased scores above the KKM. The conclusion from this study is that the implementation of face-to-face learning is limited, and there is a decrease in academic value due to limited facilities and infrastructure in face-to-face learning.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country where the majority of people adhere to Islam. But in reality, in terms of education, Islamic education is not the majority in the position of national education. And Islamic education is seen as always being in a second-row position or a marginal position in the national education system. Whatever education it is, both national education and Islamic education, the essence is to develop human dignity, and humanize humans so that they are truly capable of becoming caliphs. In response to this, Islamic education needs serious attention, especially among scholars and thinkers of Islamic education in Indonesia. Various efforts are needed to restore Islamic education to its former glory. However, there needs to be seriousness in achieving these goals, including seriousness in the management and leadership of reliable Islamic educational institutions. In this article, the author will try to focus on the discussion on the problems of Islamic education in Indonesia in the 21st century, challenges and solutions in responding to these problems of Islamic education. The method used in the preparation of this article is qualitative. Then the approach in this research is by using literature and reference studies in the form of books, journals, articles and scientific papers.

Abstract

Education has a very influential role in shaping the character of students in every era, including in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The students’ character education is an important aspect of the implementation of learning in any field. However, this character education must be formed one of them with Islamic religious education, for example carrying out customs in schools, such as congregational Duha prayers, congregational midday prayers, tadarus, and others. The instilling character values ​​as part of the vision, mission, and goals of the institution and trying to make it happen through real activities is one of the strategies that can be applied in developing character education for students. Writing this article aims to determine the formation of students’ character through Islamic religious education in schools. The results showed that the formation of students' character through Islamic religious education was formed by learning aqidah as the basis of religion, learning the Koran and hadith as a way of life and as a legal guide in worship, and learning morals as a guide. guide. for good or bad behavior. Quality education is education that can shape the character of its students. This study concludes that individuals must familiarize themselves with the realization of teachings that are in harmony with Islamic teachings to have a wise personality.
