Abstract

In the era of globalization and modernization, the growth of internet users in Indonesia reflects significant changes in people's lifestyles, including their beauty and skin care needs. Skincare has become an essential part of the beauty routine, heavily influenced by societal perceptions of beauty. This research focuses on Scarlett Whitening, a local beauty brand, which experienced a decline in sales starting in July 2023. The method used in this research is a causal method with structural equation modeling (SEM). This study aims to investigate the impact of electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM) and brand ambassadors on purchase intentions. The results show that while brand ambassadors do not significantly influence purchase intention, e-WOM does. Furthermore, brand image acts as a mediator between e-WOM and purchase intention, but does not mediate the influence of brand ambassadors.

Abstract

Products that precisely meet consumer needs have a greater potential for acceptance. Likewise, products that align with consumer preferences stand a chance of being embraced by consumers. The appropriate pricing exerts an influence on consumer decisions when making purchases. This study aims to delve deeper into the impact of product and price combinations on purchasing decisions. Employing quantitative methods, this research involved 124 respondents, all located in Jakarta. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 29. The findings of this study underscore the positive and significant influence of both product and price variables on purchasing decisions. Additionally, it highlights the importance of combining product and price to enhance the likelihood of purchase decisions. Contrary to the assumed linear relationship, this study reveals a non-linear combination between product and price. The significance of this research lies in uncovering the non-linear relationship between product and price and its impact on purchasing decisions. It challenges the notion that good product quality always comes at a high price, suggesting otherwise.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the work environment in improving employee performance through a bibliometric analysis of scientific literature published between 1991 and 2024. The relationship between workplace conditions and employee productivity is explored using a systematic approach based on data extracted from the Scopus database. The research methodology applies a comprehensive bibliometric analysis utilizing VOSviewer software to map and analyze 105 scientific documents. The literature search focused on the keywords "Work Environment" and "Employee Performance," addressing the evolution of research in this field. The analysis results reveal a substantial increase in the number of publications discussing the link between the work environment and employee performance. Scientific articles dominate 70.4% of total publications, indicating a strong empirical research foundation. This finding suggests that workplace flexibility has become a crucial factor in modern organizations. The implementation of flexible work policies has proven effective in reducing employee turnover rates and increasing productivity. Furthermore, the study identifies three interconnected main clusters: human resource development, performance elements, and compensation systems, which collectively form the foundation for optimizing the work environment. The research highlights the importance of a holistic approach in creating a supportive work environment by considering both physical and psychological aspects to enhance overall organizational performance. These findings contribute to the development of more effective human resource management strategies in the contemporary era.

Abstract

The significant growth of mutual fund investors underscores the importance of meticulous fund selection based on performance. This study compares the performance of equity and balanced funds using various metrics including Sharpe, Treynor, Jensen's Alpha, Information, and Sortino ratios to determine their relative strengths. Conducted as a case study, the research delves into the performance analysis of these fund types. Findings reveal that equity funds outperform in Sharpe, Treynor, and Sortino ratios, while balanced funds exhibit superiority in Jensen's Alpha and Information ratios despite their overall negative performance. The study highlights the advantages of balanced funds according to their higher number of products generating positive returns and outperforming the IHSG. However, equity funds demonstrate superiority in certain measurement methods. The importance of careful fund selection for investors is emphasized, urging consideration of historical performance and measurement methods aligned with their investment objectives. This research contributes to informing investors' decisions in navigating the mutual fund market.

The sampling technique in this study used non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. This study uses an analysis method consisting of descriptive statistical analysis, data pooling test, classical assumption test, moderated regression analysis (MRA), coefficient of determination test, F statistical test, and t statistical test. The conclusion of this study is that there is sufficient evidence that profitability and investment decisions have a positive influence on firm value. While there is not enough evidence that dividend policy has a positive effect on firm value. Then there is not enough evidence that auditor reputation is able to moderate the positive influence of investment decisions, dividend policy and profitability on firm value.

Abstract

In an era where scrolling replaces strolling and purchases are made with a tap, this study dives into the digital vortex to examine how content marketing and electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) shape the purchase intention of consumers toward Erigo, a rising local fashion brand, on TikTok Shop in Jakarta. As short-form video platforms redefine brand-consumer interaction, especially among digital-native youth, understanding the psychological triggers behind their buying behavior becomes paramount. Anchored in the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), this research employs a quantitative approach with data from 103 purposively sampled respondents. The findings—generated via multiple linear regression using IBM SPSS 26—unveil a compelling narrative: both content marketing and E-WOM exert a significant and positive impact on consumer intent to purchase. Beyond the numbers, this study unpacks a deeper truth: in the fast-paced arena of social commerce, relatable content and authentic digital conversations are not just tactics—they are the strategy.
