Abstract

The development of non-oil and gas exports, a very important role in the development of the national economy with strategic policies that need to be improved for West Kalimantan Province is the commodity of Aloe Vera, which is one of the agricultural products that has competitiveness in the international market. So that government and private investment continues to be encouraged to increase the production and quality of aloe vera commodities. The results show that the value of the quantity of aloe vera export to Malaysia shows that there is a positive relationship. Whereas to see whether the results of the research model estimation are theoretically meaningful and are statistically significant, a "priori" economic criteria test and statistical criteria test will be conducted. The economic "a priori" criteria test is done by comparing the suitability of the sign between the regression parameter coefficients and the theory in question. If the regression parameter coefficient is in accordance with the principles of economic theory, then the parameter has passed the test.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the college student’s attitude and behaviour control of halal label in product ; to discover how much this issue affect them. This analysis is done by using descriptive analysis in order to answer the research. This research is done to 200 college students ( from STIE Indonesia Pontianak, and STIE Pontianak). Result of the research concludes that majority of responden agree of label halal on product, behaviour control of respondens are agree too and the ranking of buying halal item start from food, medicine, cosmetic and cloth.

Abstract

One's buying behavior towards a product purchases a lotfactor. Everyone has different desires and tastes.Product quality is a crucial factor in the decisionpurchase, besides that there are still many other factors that influence behaviorthe purchase.This research is to analyze the effect of product quality,promotion of purchasing decisions for Yamaha motorcycle productsAlso analyze the variables that have the most dominant influenceon the decision to purchase Yamaha Mio motorcycle products to the publicin the Teluk Jambe region.The population in this study is motorcycle consumersYamaha Mio in the Surakarta region. The sample used was 100respondents with the Accidental Quota Sampling technique. Data collection techniqueswith a questionnaire, while the data analysis technique uses regression analysismultiple linear, classic assumptions (normality test, multicollinearity test, testheteroscedasticity), statistical tests (t test, F test and coefficient of determination).From the results of the analysis of classical assumptions, normality test with kolmogorovsmirnovObtained significantly greater than 0.05, which means the data distributionnormal. Multicollinearity test obtained by the value of VIF and Tolerance obtainedone regression model can be canceledmulticollinearity, while the heteroscedasticity test using the Glejser methoddeclare no problem.Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis of the t test obtainedProduct quality is significant todecision to purchase Yamaha Mio motorcycle products, while the promotion andsignificant significance at 5% tarap. From the test resultssimultaneous influence of product quality, promotiondecision to purchase a Yamaha Mio motorcycle product where the calculated F value> Ftable. The most dominant product qualitypurchase of Yamaha Mio motorcycle products. Obtained an R square value of0.255, which means that the dependent variable can be understood by the independent variableof 25.5% while the remaining 74.5% is approved by other variables

Abstract

Increasingly intense competition in the cosmetics industry in Indonesia, one of which is the number of artists opening a cosmetics business and besides the entry of many cosmetics brands from abroad which makes existing cosmetic companies must be careful in running their business. This study aims to predict the bankruptcy of cosmetics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the Altman Z-Score model and the Zmijewski model. The sample in this study was cosmetic companies listed on the Main Board of the Indonesia Stock Exchange as many as 4 companies. The data source used is secondary data taking data from the IDX, the type of data used is quantitative data. The result of this research is bankruptcy prediction using the Altman-Z Score method showing that PT. Martino Berto, Tbk for 2016 is included in the Gray Area category while in 2017-2018 it is predicted to go bankrupt while for PT. Mustika Ratu, in 2016 - 2018 entered the Gray Area category while the other two companies namely PT. Mandom Indonesia, Tbk and PT. Unilever, Tbk from 2016 to 2018 is predicted not to go bankrupt. Meanwhile, using the Zmijewski method in cosmetics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2016-2018 is predicted not to go bankrupt. From the comparison between the Altman Z-Score model and the Zmijewski model, the Zmijewski model has an effectiveness of 100% compared to the Altman Z-Score model which has an effectiveness level of 50%.

Abstract

This study discusses the characteristics, constraints and factors of production of Trusmi written batik SMEs in Trusmi Wetan and Trusmi Kulon Villages, Plered District, Cirebon Regency. The objectives of this study are: (1) analyzing the characteristics of Trusmi handmade batik seen from business owners, the output/products produced and marketing, (2) analyzing the difficulties/obstacles experienced by Trusmi handmade batik UKM, (3) analyzing the influence of factors -factors of production against the amount of batik production Trusmi. This study uses statistical analysis tools both descriptive and inferential. Descriptive analysis is used to determine the characteristics, difficulties and obstacles experienced by SMEs in batik writing. Multiple linear regression is used to determine the effect of variable raw materials, wages, labour, education and business experience on the amount of Trusmi written batik production in Trusmi Wetan and Kulon villages, Plered District, Cirebon Regency. The results showed that (1) the characteristics of owners/entrepreneurs of Batik Tulis Trusmi as many as 15 (50%) craftsmen started their business background from generation to generation/inheritance and as many as 15 (50%) the rest were independent business backgrounds. The level of craftsman education is dominated by high school and the average age of the craftsman is 51 years. Products produced by craftsmen in the form of hem/shirt, sarong, shawl and marimbist in their marketing crafters supply several showrooms in Trusmi and are sent to several regions, (2) batik artisans experience difficulties and obstacles in terms of capital, raw materials and human resources, (3 ) multiple linear regression using individual test (t-test) shows that raw materials and wages have a positive and significant effect on the amount of batik production, while the amount of labour, education and business experience does not affectt

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of company size, dividend policy, leverage policy, managerial ownership and profitability on firm value on the LQ 45 index listed on the Indonesia stock exchange. The technique of collecting time series data for five years is from 2013 to 2017, by analyzing the LQ 45 company’s annual report. This type of research is included in causal research with quantitative methods, and data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that simultaneous company size, dividend policy, leverage policy, managerial ownership and profitability have a significant effet on firm value, whereas only partially only company size have a significant effect.

Abstract

Kacamata merupakan perangkat optik yang terdiri dari lensa dan bingkai kacamata. Promosi adalah untuk memberi informasi, membujuk, mengingatkan akan suatu produk. Dalam hal ini hendaknya perusahaan merencanakan strategi promosi secara matang baik advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, public relation, direct marketing sehingga meramaikan took-toko optik menarik minat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisispengaruh advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, public relation, direct marketing terhadap penjualan Toko Optik Nasional Tanjung Hulu Pontianak Timur. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian survey dengan pendekatan deskriptif, jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 80 responden dari 460 konsumen sebagai populasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik Accidental Sampling.Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa secara parsial variabel Periklanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penjualan dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,449 dapat diartikan adanya pengaruh positif karena periklanan menggunakan model periklanan lewat media Media tampilan (billboard, papan iklan, poster).

Abstract

Work stress is a condition of tension that creates a physical and psychic imbalance that affects emotions, thinking processes, and the condition of an employee.Stress jobs can be interpreted as the perceived pressure of an employee because job assignments cannot be filled. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of working pressure on the performance of employees at the palm oil plant PT. WKN Bengkayang.The analytic tools used were to use multiple linear regression, classical ASUSMI tests and coefficesian significance tests. This means that stress arises when an employee is not able to meet the demands of the job. From the research results obtained the magnitude of the stress effect of the working variable (X) on the performance variable (Y) 15.9%. The significant value of the stress variable is 0.000 < 0.05 (smaller than the probability value), which means the variable stress affects the performance variable. Then the t-count for the 3.762 variable stress is greater than the t-table which is 1.992 and physical regression in the direction of positive values of 0.395. This suggests that the stress is positive and significant in performance

Abstract

Since 2015 the local government of Medan City has determined that poverty alleviation and community empowerment efforts become one of the regional priority programs. This program is contained in Medan City Regulation No. 5 of 2015. This study aims to determine the role of the City Government in poverty reduction through the Skills Improvement program in Medan and the factors that influence it. To achieve these objectives, qualitative research methods are used to decipher data descriptively. Data collection techniques are done by observation, interviews, and documents and archives using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed: First, the role of the government in empowering the poor through the Skills Improvement program can be broadly categorized into two roles, namely the growth of the business climate and the strengthening of business potential or power. The growth of the business climate includes funding, facilities & infrastructure, business information, business licensing and trade promotions. While Strengthening Potential or Power covers production and processing, marketing, and human resources. Second, the factors that influence the empowerment of the poor through the Skills Improvement program in Medan include inhibiting and supporting factors. The inhibiting factor is the lack of innovation in marketing and the limited budget which is only a few percent, while the supporting factors are human resources and abundant natural resources.

Abstract

Villages in Indonesia generally have natural resources that can be one of the potentials that can be developed and can improve the economy of the village community. Lack of human resource capacity in the village makes these various natural resources cannot be managed properly. Because of this the village ministry has made a regulation that requires BUMDes in every village and may get initial funding from the Village Fund which is the transfer of funds from the center directly to the village. And with the presence of BUMDes, it is hoped that it can explore the potential of the village and help encourage economic growth in the village, and as a tool to explore the potential of the village is designed a media called the "Business canvas plan". With this media, it is not only the village potential that can be mapped but also can be used as a media to make a business analysis and assess the business feasibility of a BUMDes business unit. This business canvas plan is described in a paper divided into 9 boxes in the sequence according to Osterwalder as follows: customer segments, value propositions, customer relationships, channels, key resources, key activities, key partners, cost structures, revenue streams. This research uses Literature Research Methods and Community Based Research through In Depth Interview (IDI), and offline / online surveys. And with this research literature study will also carry out the process of collecting data by examining books, documents, journals, and other relevant sources. And from the literature obtained, it can be concluded that the Business canvas plan can be used as a media in exploring the potential of the village as well as a medium to assess the feasibility of BUMDes businesses in managing the village's potential.
