Abstract

This study explores the implementation of curriculum in various schools in Surabaya, including SMP Wachid Hasyim 7, SMA Al-Falah, and SMK PGRI 7, with a focus on the use of Merdeka Curriculum and 2013 Curriculum. The study also examines the integration of technology, the application of inclusive concepts, and collaboration and evaluation in the learning process. In Surabaya, many schools adopt a combination of Merdeka Curriculum and 2013 Curriculum to meet the dynamic needs of education. The curriculum is developed with philosophical foundations such as Pancasila, humanism, and progressivism, which are adapted to the needs of students and the development of the times. Information and communication technology is integrated into learning to increase effectiveness and interactivity, although some schools still experience limitations in facilities. The application of inclusive concepts in some schools shows positive steps, although there are still challenges in preparing special educators for students with special needs. Collaboration between teachers, students, parents, and the community is strengthened to support the implementation of the curriculum. Evaluation is conducted periodically to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. The results of the study show that schools in Surabaya are trying to implement a curriculum that is adaptive and relevant to the needs of students. However, challenges related to resources and facilities still need to be addressed to achieve optimal implementation. Efforts of collaboration and evaluation conducted periodically are positive steps towards improving the quality of education. Improvements in facilities and resources are needed to support the integration of technology and inclusion, as well as to strengthen collaboration with parents and the community to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

This study examines the evolution and future trends of digital leadership through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of research publications from 2015 to 2024. The investigation employs bibliometric analysis and topic modeling techniques on metadata from 265 Scopus-indexed articles across 199 distinct sources, focusing specifically on publications with "digital leadership" in their titles. The results reveal a remarkable annual growth rate of 67.18% in publications, with citation patterns demonstrating increasing scholarly impact and recognition. The analysis identifies three distinct thematic clusters characterizing the field's development: digital transformation and innovation, organizational capabilities and adaptiveness, and human-social factors. Additionally, the study uncovers a significant shift in research focus from purely technical considerations to more integrated approaches that encompass human, social, and ethical dimensions, particularly post-2020. The findings indicate six emerging domains that will likely dominate future digital leadership research: AI-augmented leadership, sustainable digital leadership, metaverse leadership, quantum-ready leadership, cross-cultural digital leadership, and digital ethics and well-being. This evolution suggests a transformation in how digital leadership is conceptualized, moving from a technology-centric approach to a more nuanced understanding that balances technological advancement with human factors, sustainability, and ethical considerations in organizational leadership.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze and explain the impact of urban development on public health with a focus on Bandung City, as well as the importance of health performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of urban health service delivery systems. Health performance indicators, such as mortality rates, morbidity rates, birth rates, and life expectancy, are critical in evaluating the success of health policies as well as identifying areas that need more attention. In Bandung City, despite an increase in population, the number of health service centers remains stagnant, leading to an imbalance between population growth and health service capacity. The research method used was mixed methods with descriptive statistical analysis from the Central Bureau of Statistics and in-depth interviews with informants from the Health Office and the community. The results showed that the imbalance between population growth and health service provision is a major challenge. Furthermore, performance evaluation with an appropriate measurement framework allows the identification of achievements, shortcomings, and challenges faced. Policy adaptation and strengthened cross-sector coordination have been shown to improve the health system's ability to respond to changing external conditions. Efforts to improve institutional capacity and appropriate resource allocation have led to improved efficiency and effectiveness of health management. In conclusion, the performance of health services in Bandung City has experienced complex dynamics but shows a trend of continuous improvement. Nevertheless, continuous monitoring and strategic interventions are still needed to maintain and improve the quality of health services in the future. Therefore, this study suggests the development of a longitudinal data-based performance evaluation model, strengthening the capacity of human resources in the health sector, and conducting interdisciplinary studies on socio-economic factors and public health behavior should be conducted to achieve more inclusive and sustainable development goals, in line with the SDGs, particularly SDG 3rd and SDG 11th.

Abstract

N’gumbo, a dialect of Bemba, is predominantly spoken in the Luapula and Copperbelt provinces of Zambia. This dialect is characterized by various types of nicknames that reflect its speakers' shared experiences, values, and beliefs. This study aims to analyze the morphological structures of selected nicknames within the N’gumbo dialect. Using a sample of 60 nicknames gathered through document analysis, interviews, and self-introspection, the study demonstrates that these nicknames exhibit distinct morphological structures primarily influenced by the morphology of Bantu languages. The analysis identifies several structures, including: stem only, prefix, stem with a final vowel, root with a final vowel, and combinations of prefixes and stems. Additionally, the study recognizes structures related to denominals, deverbals, and de-adjectival forms. Furthermore, some nicknames were found to be neologisms (newly created terms) or derived from loanwords. The study involved eight (8) participants to gather nicknames and their meanings, alongside insights from one of the researchers, who is a speaker of the dialect. The analysis was anchored in lexical morphology, allowing for the segmentation of nicknames as lexemes of the dialect, thus facilitating a clearer analysis and interpretation of the data.
