Abstract

This reason for this research was based on observations and experiences during the educational field practice related to the teaching skills of students in the field practice program (PPL) of the Department of Educational Administration, Padang State University, State Vocational Schools of Padang City. This research is a quantitative descriptive type which aims to see how the teaching skills performed by PPL students of the Department of Educational Administration, Padang State University according to students’ perceptions. This study has a population of 2891 people who all have studied with PPL students, Department of Educational Administration, State University of Padang. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling technique which obtained 102 people. This research instrument uses a Likert scale questionnaire on teaching skills consisting of 60 items. Data collected online using google form. The data collected is processed to look for an average score. From the results of data processing, it was found that the average score of teaching skills of PPL students in the Department of Educational Administration, State University of Padang in the aspect of learning opening skills was 4,13 with good criteria, the skill of explaining the material was 4,15 with good criteria, the questioning skills were 4,24 with good criteria, the skills to provide reinforcement are 3,86 with good criteria, the skills to manage classes are 4,35 with good criteria, the skills to use various teaching variations are 4,15 with good criteria, the skills to use teaching media are 3,61 with good criteria, the skill of closing learning is 4,33 with good criteria. So according to students in Padang City State Vocational Schools who study with PPL students of the Education Admistration Department, Padang State University at Padang City State Vocational High School have been carried out well.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal guru dengan iklim organisasi di SMK Negeri 4 Padang yang dilihat dari sudut pandang keterbukaan, empati, dukungan, perasaan positif, kesetaraan (variabel X) dan kebebasan, kehangatan, kepercayaan, tanggung jawab (variabel Y). Seluruh guru di SMK Negeri 4 Padang menjadi populasi di penelitian sebanyak 96 orang guru dengan sampel sebanyak 50 orang guru yang ditentukan berdasarkan teknik propotionate statified random sampling. Instrument menggunakan kuesioneri skala Likert yang telah dites untuk mengamati validitas dan reliabelitas angket. Kesimpulannya adalah Kaitan yang signifikan antara komunikasi interpersonal guru dengan iklim organisasi di SMK Negeri 4 Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari hasil pengamatan yaitu masih adanya pegawai yang menunda-nunda pekerjaan yang harus dilakukannya, bahkan cenderung malas untuk memulai pekerjaannya dan masih ada beberapa pegawai yang kurang antusias dalam bekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana semangat kerja pegawai di di Kantor Dinas Koperasi dan PKM Provinsi Sumatera Barat di lihat dari1) kesungguhan dalam berkerja, 2) Antusias dalam bekerja, 3) Senangnya dalam bekerja, dan 4) Giatnya dalam bekerja.Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua pegawai yang bekerja di Kator Dinas Koperasi dan PKM Provinsi Sumatera Barat yang berjumlah 75 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonprobability sampling dengan memakai rumus slovin dan didapat jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 42 orang. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan berupa kuisioner dalam bentuk Skala Likert. Kuisioner tersebut sudah di uji coba untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Semangat kerja pegawai pada Dinas Koperasi dan PKM Provinsi Sumatera Barat dilihat dari 1) kesungguhan dengan capaian 77,20% dan rata-rata hasil yaitu 3,860 yang berada pada kriteria baik, 2) antusias dengan perolehan tingkat capaian 77,55% dan rata-rata hasil yaitu 3,878 berada pada kriteria baik, 3) senangnya dengan perolehan tingkat capaian 79,33% dan rata-rata hasil yaitu 3,966 berada dalam kriteria baik, 4) giatnya dalam bekerja dengan perolehan tingkat capaian 77,46% dan rata-rata hasil yaitu 3,878 dalam kategori baik

Abstract

Abstract The research is motivated by various problems that the authors encounter in the field which shows that the performance of employees is still not realized. The aspects studied were productivity, quality and timeliness. This research is quantitative in nature. The population in this study were al employess totaling 58 employess whose entire population was sampled. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire. The result is that the employess’s performance is in a good category.

Abstract

This search own to receive explanation on managerial competence and teacher work discipline as well as the relationship between principal managerial competence and teacher work discipline at SMK N 3 Pariaman as seen from developing schools and upgrading the level of school in aspect teaching personnel (variable X) and regarding timeliness teachers at work, adherence to school regulations, and teacher responsibilities at work (variable Y). The population of teachers at SMK N 3 Pariaman in 81 people with a sample of 46 people using the Slovin. The instrument in this study used a likert scale questionare through validity and reliability tests. This data uses product moment correlation with r count 0,297 > r table 0,291 and t count 2,06 > t table 2,00. The result of the research is that there is a relationship between principal managerial competence and work discipline teachers at SMK N 3 Pariaman.

Abstract

The school library as a source of information in schools, continues to experience changes and developments. The current era of public information openness, which is better known as the industrial revolution 4.0 also demands that school libraries make changes to follow this revolution. Most of the school libraries today still use conventional libraries. To change the condition of the library, various preparations are needed to do it. This research will discuss how to plan digital-based library development in a school environment. This article is written on the basis of research. The research was conducted in schools that previously led to digital-based libraries, researchers chose libraries at SMAN 1 Padang. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative methods. The data validity analysis method used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of data analysis show: 1) planning for the development of digital library facilities at SMAN 1 Padang still requires network development, computers and scanners, 2) planning for digital library development for digital collections also needs to be done, namely in the process of digitizing collections, 3) planning for developing management competencies Librarian information needs to be done, 4) planning to improve digital library services needs to be done, especially in improving library reference services, and 5) planning for library supervision needs to be maintained, because the library control planning has been done well.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to look for information about the teacher perception of the Implementation of Teacher Work Group (TWG) on primary schools in Kayu Aro district. This is a descriptive research. The population is 85 teachers and sample is 66 teachers that are taken by simple random sampling. The instrument of this research was a questionnaire with Likert scale models that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using the average (mean) formula. The results of this research show that the teacher perception about the Implementation of Teacher Work Group (TWG) in primary schools in Kayu Aro district stay in good category with an average score of 3.90

Abstract

Tujuanipenelitian ini ialahiuntuk memperolehiinformasi terkait pengelolaaniUsaha Kesehatan Sekolah di SekolahiMenengah AtasiNegeri Kecamatan Koto TangahiKota Padang. Jenis penelitianiyang digunakan yakniideskriptif. Populasiiberjumlah 137 orang dan sampel penelitian 54 orangidengan menggunakan metode Disproportionate RandomiSampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket denganimodel skala likerts yang sudah di ujiivaliditas danireliabilitasnya. iData yang dikumpulkan dianalisisimenggunakan rumus mean. Hasil penelitian menggambarkanibahwa pengelolaan usaha kesehatanisekolah di SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Koto Tangah KotaiPadang dikategorikan baik dengan perolehan skorirata-rata 3,81.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari berbagai permasalahan yang menunjukkan masih belum terlaksananya pelayanan perpustakaan di SMKN 4 Padang dengan baik. Sasaran penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Persepsi Siswa Terhadap Pelayanan Perpustakaan di SMKN 4 Padang yang dilihat dari aspek layanan sirkulasi, layanan referensi, dan layanan bimbingan kepada pengguna/pembaca. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa SMKN 4 Padang dengan jumlah 700 siswa dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 91 orang. Instrument pengumpulan data yaitu angket dengan model skala Likert yang sudah diuji validitas dan realibilitasnya. Hasilnya yaitu Persepsi Siswa Terhadap Pelayanan Perpustakaan di SMKN 4 Padang mendapatkan peringkat baik.

Abstract

Study is based on the results of the author's observations regarding the maintenance of educational infrastructure that has not been carried out properly in Junior High School Negeri in Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo Regency. This study aims to obtain information regarding the maintenance of educational infrastructure in State of Junior High Schools in Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo Regency in terms of: maintenance of educational infrastructure based on time measurement, maintenance of educational infrastructure based on age of goods, usefulness and condition of goods. This study is descriptive quantitative. The population of this study is 110 teachers in State Junior High Schools in Pelepat Ilir Subdistrict, Bungo Regency, who have the status of Civil Servants (PNS) and their working period is more than 5 years. The sampling technique was simple random sampling using Cohran's theory. The selected sample was 56 people. The data were collected using a Likert scale model questionnaire which has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the average formula. The results of this study indicate that the Maintenance of Educational Infrastructure at State of Junior High Schools in Pelepat Ilir Subdistrict, Bungo Regency, seen from the aspect of maintaining educational infrastructure based on time measurement is in the good category with an average score of 4.4, maintenance of educational infrastructure by age of goods is in the good category with a score on average 3.7, maintenance of educational infrastructure based on usability was in the very good category with an average score of 4.8, and maintenance of educational infrastructure based on the state of goods in the good category was in the good category with an average score of 4.5. This it can be concluded that the maintenance of educational infrastructure in SMP Negeri in Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo Regency in the good category with an average score of 4.3.
