Abstract

This research aims to explore the value of Islamic leadership in the Qur'an and its implications for contemporary Islamic education management. This study focuses on three main values, namely trust, justice, and deliberation, based on the interpretation of QS An-Nisa verse 58, QS Ash-Shura verse 38, and QS Al-Mu'minun verse 8 with reference to Tafsir As-Sa'di and Tafsir Fathul Karim Mukhtashar. The method used is qualitative based on literature studies with a thematic interpretation approach. The results of the study show that these three values play an important role in decision-making, human resource management, and the formation of a participatory organizational climate. The practical implications of these findings suggest that internalizing the Qur'anic leadership values can improve the effectiveness and integrity of governance of Islamic educational institutions. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of two contemporary books of tafsir to build a conceptual framework of leadership based on Qur'an spirituality in the context of education management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of empowerment of madrasa teachers in conducting item analysis based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in the Semarang City area. Using the Participatory Action Research approach, 15 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers were actively involved. The results of the study showed that the training provided was effective in reducing the gap in teachers' understanding of item analysis, reflected in the increased ability to compile question grids. In addition, there was an increase in teacher commitment to mastering item analysis, which was demonstrated through the skill of assembling questions independently. Skills in compiling multiple-choice questions based on HOTS also increased, evidenced by the systematic ability to create distractor answer sheets. These findings recommend the importance of a national certification program in HOTS-based question analysis by the Ministry of Religion in order to improve the competence of madrasa teachers. Structured empowerment management is expected to support the improvement of the quality of madrasah education and prepare students to think critically and analytically.

Abstract

The study aims to identify variations of Arabic language program evaluation based on the multiple intelligences formative-summative model according to Michael Scriven at Markaz Arabiyah Pare, Kediri, East Java. Qualitative methods were used to collect primary and secondary data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the evaluation of the Arabic language program refers to the formative and summative models carried out in two stages: written and oral tests, which effectively develop the linguistic, emotional, and intellectual intelligence of the santri. Data analysis uses the descriptive method proposed by Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings confirmed the importance of multiple intelligences-based programs in improving learning quality and student motivation. The study recommends further exploration of the effect of evaluation methods on the development of other intelligences and the program's long-term impact on students language skills.

Abstract

Human resource management (HRM) plays a strategic role in enhancing the quality of Islamic education, particularly in addressing the challenges of the 21st century. This study aims to analyze the strategies of human resource management (HRM) in Islamic educational institutions, focusing on planning, recruitment, training, evaluation, rewards, organizational culture, and technological innovation. The method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques through a closed questionnaire distributed using Google Forms. The number of statements was 30 items, and a sample of 9 people was taken purposively from educators at Bintang 'Ibadurrahman Bukittinggi School, a primary school. The data analysis in the study was conducted using descriptive statistics, specifically by calculating the frequency percentage of each indicator to determine the tendencies of HR management practices applied at Bintang 'Ibadurrahman School. The responses from questionnaires, which consisted of 30 statement items across seven sub-variables, were converted into percentage scores to assess the level of implementation and understanding among teachers and managers. The results showed that overall, the implementation of HR management strategies was classified as very good, with an overall average score above 80% after being converted into percentages. The sub-variable that obtained the highest score was recruitment and selection (86%), followed by organizational culture and HR innovation (85%). The aspect with the lowest score was HR rewards and welfare (80%). The study recommends integrating Islamic values more deeply into human resources (HR) strategies and leveraging educational technology to enhance performance and motivation.
