The published articles provide valuable insight into matters of broad intellectual and practical concern to academicians and business professionals. The Journalis published three times a year: in April, July and October. The journal is mainly an outlet of MBA ITB students to publish their final project works, although it also accepts articles written by students at masters level from other institutions. A published paper is an honor that will be unambiguously beneficial for professional and academic careers, especially for those who want to attend graduate/professional schools. This means that papers written in relations to Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Business Law, Corporate Ethics, and Public Policy all qualify for submission. Abstract

Abstract--- An Indonesian IPP located in Bekasi expanded their power capacity by building a coal fired power plant (CFPP) 2x140MW in 2013. The expansion sums up total installed capacity into 1144MW by 2016 which predominantly using gas fuel operated since 1993. Having coal fuel into their portfolio, this exposes Company to volatile nature of Indonesian coal price. Abstract

Abstract. The financial crisis in 1998 requires the state to stop its funding to PT DI. Lack of funds forced PT DI to cut its employees in large numbers in order to sustain the company survival with business turbulence encountered. This massive layoff was followed by experts skill left the company. This condition raises some problems for companies which are lack of expertise, employees age gap and based on previous research there is still a lack of trust in leaders. Improvement of Human Capital Management (HCM) is required considering problems faced is about human resource management, and must be conducted effectively and accurately targeted because of PT DI limited funds. HCM framework used in this study is framework developed by Laurie Bassi and Daniel McMurrer (2007) which states there are five drive (driver) HCM which are leadership, engagement, knowledge accessibility, workforce optimization dan learning capacity. Assessment of HCM implementation in PT DI using questionnaire tool shows that implementation of HCM in PT DI is still at low level and the driver with the lowest score is Engagement. Innovation used as the expected result because PT DI as aircraft manufacturing company is intense company with innovation. HCM correlation analysis with company innovation capability is conducted by Partial Least Square (PLS) using software smartPLS 2.0. PLS analysis generates that Engagement is the driver with the highest correlation to innovation. The series result of research steps indicate that the Engagement is the driver with the highest correlation to the level of innovation as well has the lowest value of implementation level, so that the increase in HCM should be concentrated on the driver Engagement. In this study, the researcher recommends enhancement Engagement with conduct performance management. Keywords: Human Capital Management (HCM), Innovation, PT Dirgantara Indonesia

Abstract

Abstract. Based on BP Statistical World Energy data in 2017, Indonesia is the country with the fifth largest coal production in the world with a total production is 271.6 million of ton of oil equivalent. In the last 8 years since 2009 China is the country with the largest production and consumption of coal in the world, but China's coal production cannot meet domestic consumption. Based on data in 2017 coal production in Indonesia is greater than its consumption, so that Indonesia becomes a coal exporting country. One of the destination countries for coal exports from Indonesia is China, but since 2013 coal consumption in China has continued to decrease. The impact of the reduction in coal consumption in China is the abundance of coal stock throughout the world, which causes coal prices to decline starting from 2013. In 2012 the price of coal was in the range of US $ 117 per metric ton, but in 2013 coal prices declined to be in the price range of US $ 85 per metric ton. In this study the author would like to know the impact of the decline in coal prices on financial performance and the effect of Fixed Asset Turnover and Return on Asset on the share prices of coal mining companies in Indonesia. The companies studied in this study were three coal mining companies that had the largest market capitalization in Indonesia, including: Adaro Energy (ADRO), Bayan Resources (BYAN), and Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITMG). The method used in this study is to analyze financial ratios such as liquidity, solvability, activity and profitability. Quarterly financial report data is taken from 2011 to 2017. After financial ratio analysis is carried out, validation with benchmark industries is carried out in the categories of Gross Profit Margin, Total Asset Turnover, Account Receivable Turnover, and Inventory Turnover. Data taken for the benchmark industry was taken from csimarket.com. To determine the effect of Fixed Asset Turnover and Return on Asset on stock prices, panel data regression analysis was conducted. To help processing panel data regression analysis the author uses Eviews software. The findings of this study show that ITMG is the best financial performance company during the period of 2011 to 2017 indicated by excellence in the three categories of financial ratios, namely solvability, activity, and profitability. Adaro is the second best financial company to excel in the liquidity category and the last is BYAN. The results of the standard industry benchmark validation for four financial ratios show that during the period 2011 to 2017 all categories are still below the industry standard. Fixed Asset Turnover and Return on Asset panel data regression on share prices show these two independent variables have a positive influence on share prices. Keywords: Coal Mining Companies, Financial Ratio, Panel Data Regression

Abstract

Abstract - IT industry has been changing dynamically. The necessity of the customer has been shift from buying assets to renting and outsourcing to 3rd party vendor. The needs to reduce capital expenses is one of the reason. Minimize the risk for IT project is the second reason. The rapid pace of technological change demand for IT division proactively identify potential substitute as well as identify newly emerging technologies in which firm could sustain competitive advantage. The business environment which are influencing the company performance are political and economic factor in Indonesia. Recent presidential election also play a major disadvantage for the growth of the company. IT industry regulator is mainly from MENKOMINFO in which put into effective several ITE regulations that also embrace every company to use licensed software and hardware. IT investment become expensive and demand for maintenance cost to be consider. 3rd party IT vendor should be able to capture the requirement and shift the business focus to service industry. Based on the analysis using fishbone diagram several root cause has been analyzed thoroughly. The unreliable delivery of Service Level Agreement, Lacks of excellence service to the customer, issue of human Resource inside the Managed Service Business Unit (MSBU) that causing high turnover, and field engineers lack of basic soft skills. Moreover no dedicated service and quality division is one of the reason why MII hardly improve the selling of managed service. Proposed solution is to create differentiation that will enhance MII sustainable value. According to strategy diamond model, firm should maintain its premium price with a distinct service quality. Implementation plan will be 6 month period. Established new Service and Quality division will be the starting point for the firm. Management review should be the controller for each implementation staging. Preventive action should be prepared in case there are resistance from couple of employees and also corrective action in order to redo the needed staging. Key Words: IT, root cause, corporate strategy, strategy diamond model, implementation plan
