Abstract

The human component (human resources) is the most important factor in management because of its importance in carrying out organizational policy and operational tasks. Human resources (HR) are people who serve as the backbone of organizations, including both institutions and businesses and who act as resources that need to be developed. Human resources are the key to determining the development of the organization. Hence they are included as a highly significant aspect. This study's objective was to determine and assess the effects of organisational culture and leadership style on employee performance, as shown by job satisfaction. This study's quantitative methodology employs a survey assessment method. The sampling technique used in this investigation was purposeful sampling. 34 individuals made up the study's sample. The tool for gathering data makes use of a questionnaire. The data analysis method used in this inquiry is partial least squares. Employee performance is highly influenced by leadership style, organisational culture, work satisfaction, and job satisfaction as intervening variables.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the effect of organizational climate on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), with work engagement as an intervening variable. The phenomenon is that many employees lack discipline in fingerprinting, so they are required to pay more attention to attendance lists to achieve good organizational goals. The research sample was 42 people who were all employees of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury of South Kalimantan Province. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire with the aim of providing an assessment of the organizational climate (X), to test how well the level of employee engagement is at work (Z), and to measure how big the OCB of employees is in the organization. (Y). The data analysis method used is partial least square (PLS) version 4.0. The results showed that organizational climate had no significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), while organizational climate had a significant positive effect on work engagement, then work engagement had a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Furthermore, the organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on employee organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), both indirectly through the intervening variable, namely work engagement.

Abstract

Organizations around the world face challenges in their efforts to maintain and improve work productivity and efficiency. In this context, it is important for organizations to understand the factors that affect employee commitment to the organization while improving the quality of their work life. This study is a quantitative descriptive research. The sample in this study were all civil servants who worked at the education office of Banjarmasin, totaling 86 people. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling or census. This study was measured using PLS-SEM analysis. Competence has no significant positive effect on job satisfaction in civil servants at the education office of Banjarmasin. The quality of work life has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction in civil servants at the education office of Banjarmasin. Competence has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment in civil servants at the education office of Banjarmasin. The quality of work life has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment in Civil Servants at the education office of Banjarmasin. Job satisfaction has no significant positive effect on organizational commitment to civil servants at the education office of Banjarmasin. Job satisfaction cannot mediate competency in organizational commitment in civil servants at the education office of Banjarmasin. Job satisfaction cannot mediate the quality of work life on organizational commitment in civil servants at the education office of Banjarmasin.

Abstract

The low quality of local tourist destinations is often seen from the need for more infrastructure, unprofessional management, limited management of human resources, and others. For this reason, attention is needed from not only the government but also the role of the private sector to improve the quality of local tourist destinations. This study aimed to describe the implementation of green accounting through corporate social responsibility (CSR) in improving the quality of the tourism industry in Indonesia with a study in Manado City, North Sulawesi Province. Our study examines the economic value of a tourist destination as one of the requirements for the valuation of CSR as part of green accounting records. Data analysis used the travel cost method (TCM). The total of participants in this study was 112 tourists. Data were collected with collection used a survey. The results of this study provide valuable information to the tourism industry in North Sulawesi, especially in Manado City, regarding the need for CSR funds to develop the tourism industry to improve the quality of the tourism industry and the environment. In conclusion, the business and industrial world in North Sulawesi, including companies that wish to implement corporate social responsibility (CSR) based on the limited liability company law number 40 of 2007, can obtain information for the implementation of this CSR in the tourism industry in North Sulawesi, especially in improving the quality of the tourism industry as well as the environment.

Abstract

The company's decision in determining the amount of dividends to be distributed to shareholders can be influenced by various factors, including profitability, leverage, and company size. This study aimed to analyze the effect of profitability, leverage, and company size on dividend policy in transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2022 period. In this study, Profitability is proxied by return on equity (ROE), Leverage is proxied by the debt to equity ratio (DER), and company size is proxied by the logarithm of total sales (Ln total sales). While the dividend policy is proxied using the dividend payout ratio (DPR) with the retention ratio formula by dividing retained earnings and net income balance, then 1 minus the RR value. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. There are 22 transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017 – 2022 which are used as samples in this study. The type of data used is quantitative data from secondary data sourced from financial reports. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that profitability, leverage, and company size simultaneously influence dividend policy. Partially profitability has a positive effect on dividend policy. Meanwhile, leverage has no negative effect on dividend policy, and company size has no positive effect on dividend policy.

Abstract

HR competence moderation becomes an important element in understanding how HR influences budget absorption in the Sragen Regency Government. Moderation, in this context, refers to HR's role in controlling and facilitating the relationship between budget planning, budget execution, and administrative records. HR competence includes the ability of individuals to plan, implement and document budgets properly. This study aimed to determine the role of HR competence in moderating the influence of budget planning and implementation, as well as administrative records of budget absorption in the Government of Sragen Regency, Indonesia. This study shows that HR competence moderates the effect of budget planning on budget absorption. HR competence moderates the effect of administrative records on budget absorption.

Abstract

TikTok is a very popular platform among generation Z, who is often the main target in the fitness industry. Generation Z is very active on TikTok and uses the platform for inspiration on health, fitness and an active lifestyle. TikTok is a short video-based platform that enables gyms to present engaging visual content. This study aimed to determine the role marketing with social media TikTok in generation Z: a study on the choice of fitness centers by generation Z in Ambon, Indonesia. This study is a quantitative approach and uses primary data obtained from a survey process using a questionnaire, where the survey process is carried out online. The independent variable in this study is the choice of the fitness center brand by the customer (Y). The dependent variables in this study are entertainment (X1), interaction (X2), trendy (X3), customization (X4), and electronic word-of-mouth (WOM) (X5). In conclusion, there is a relationship between the entertainment, interaction, customization, and electronic word-of-mouth social media dimensions of TikTok in influencing brand fitness center choice decisions for generation Z in Ambon, Indonesia.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is a key element in creating a productive and motivating work environment. Satisfied employees tend to be more productive, creative, and loyal to their company. However, employee engagement, which includes employees' feelings that they have an important role in the organization, is also an important factor in achieving job satisfaction. Therefore, exploring the relationship between employee engagement, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in manufacturing companies in Ambon is a very relevant research focus. This study is research with a quantitative approach. This study uses primary data obtained from a survey process using a questionnaire, where the survey process was carried out online. The independent variable in this study is organizational commitment (Y). The dependent variables in this study are job satisfaction (X1), work characteristics (X2), organizational commitment (X3), turnover intentions (X4). There is a significant relationship between job satisfaction and employee engagement. There is a significant relationship between work characteristics and employee engagement. There is no significant relationship between employee involvement and turnover intentions. There is a significant relationship between employee involvement and organizational commitment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of leadership and motivation on employee performance at PT. Multi Media Kabar. This type of research is quantitative. The data sources used in this research are direct observation and filling out questionnaires by employee respondents of PT. Multi Media Kabar. This research uses multiple regression analysis. The research results show that leadership and motivation partially have a significant positive effect on employee performance at PT. Multi Media Kabar. The analysis results through calculating the correlation coefficient (R) show a solid positive relationship between leadership and motivation factors and employee performance variables (Y). The results of the analysis through calculating the coefficient of determination (R2) show that leadership and motivation factors have a reasonably significant contribution or contribution to the variation (up and down) of employee performance (Y), in addition to the variation explained by other factors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of training and compensation on increasing employee work performance at PT. Sesawi Prima Mandiri. This type of research is quantitative. The data source used in this research is a questionnaire by employee respondents at PT Sesawi Prima Mandiri with a sample size of 50 respondents. This research uses multiple regression analysis. Based on the research results, it is known that training and compensation partially and simultaneously have a significant positive effect on employees at PT. Sesawi Prima Mandiri. The analysis results through calculating the correlation coefficient (R) show a solid positive relationship between training and compensation factors and employee work performance variables (Y). The results of the analysis through calculating the coefficient of determination (R2) show that training and compensation factors have a reasonably significant contribution or contribution to the variation (up and down) of employee work performance (Y), in addition to the variation explained by other factors.
