Abstract

With the advancement of technology on this digitalized era, almost every aspect and field has implemented information technology in the work system of companies, yet there are still security gaps that can lead to cybercrime. The purpose of this research is to both provide an analysis and design a system that can prevent and tackle cybercrime issues. The testing method used in this project is Penetration Test on network virtualization and is connected to local network. The end result of this project is a system that is fused with MikroTik software to monitor attacks to the local network. The security system used is Security Onion.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether network frequency that is being used by certain WiFi network affect the signal strength and data transfer speed that is received by internet users. This research used Delay, Packet loss, and Throughput as the parameter of QoS and by using Axence NetTools as the research tool. The research is conducted in two frequency, 2,4 GHz frequency and 5 GHz frequency at Discussion Area and at the Library. The result of the research is that 5 GHz has a better performance according to TIPHON standard of QoS. The result is as such, 17.25 ms Delay at Discussion Area and 15 ms Delay at Library. According to TIPHON QoS standard, the Delay result is categorized as Very Good. The result of the research using UNIFI AP AC PRO Access Point is as such, 90.25 ms Delay when using 2.4 frequency and 18.75 ms when using 5 GHz frequency. As the result of the research conducted, 5 GHz frequency have a better performance in term of the quality of the network, because of the channel availability, and low inteference from other device in the same frequency, lower congestion during high network usage or high traffic and also benefit from MU-MIMO technology from 802.11ac Wave 2 WiFi standard that enable Access Point to send and receive data simultaneously from multiple users.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah meningkat sangat cepat di berbagai aspek, salah satunya ialah teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dibidang pendidikan. Proses belajar mengajar yang sering diterapkan masih mengadopsi buku dan gambar 2D dianggap kurang menarik sehingga siswa menjadi cepat bosan. Dengan pemanfaatan teknologi augmented reality, pembuatan media pembelajaran menjadi semakin menarik dan menyenangkan bagi siswa karena mereka bisa membayangkan model 3D secara realtime dengan menggabungkan dunia nyata dengan dunia virtual yang ditampilkan melalui smartphone. Rancangan aplikasi augmented reality dibuat dengan memanfaatkan perangkat lunak Unity 3D dan perancangan model 3D menggunakan perangkat lunak Marvelous Designer kemudian pemberian design tampilan dan texture pada pakaian adat tradisional menggunakan perangkat lunak adobe photoshop. Tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini adalah merancang sebuah aplikasi media pembelajaran augmented reality berbasis android sebagai pengenalan pakaian adat tradisional di Indonesia dalam bentuk object 3D dengan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang diharapkan dapat membantu mempermudah siswa dalam mempelajari berbagai macam pakaian adat tradisional di Indonesia. Hasil dari pengujian aplikasi ini menunjukan bahwa aplikasi media pembelajaran ini layak digunakan sebagai alat peraga dalam proses belajar dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik tentang pakaian adat tradisional di Indonesia.

Abstract

Geographical information system or GIS is a geographic system that has been widely used, especially by tourists or tourists. In this study, GIS was used to map Sembulang village with the aim of reaching tourist attractions in Sembulang village to tourists, both from within the country and from abroad. It is hoped that with a geographic information system that can attract visitors to the tourist attractions of Sembulang village. This system is built using the programming language HTML, Javascript, and CSS and uses several assistance applications such as XAMPP and Sublime Text Editor.

Abstract

The writing of this scientific paper aims to solve the problem of DHCP Rogue network attack method using DHCP Snooping which is a network security feature that is rarely used by people, because the lack of knowing the importance of network security causes the network to be given less attention on the security matter. For this reason, this scientific paper will discusses how to counteract DHCP Rogues with DHCP Snooping and how to implement these security features on the network. Apart from that, to prove whether using the DHCP Snooping feature is able to counteract Rogue DHCP attacks. The research method used by the author by conducting a study that uses simulation networks. Because of the author is using Cisco-based DHCP Snooping, the authors will conduct research where network simulation will be made in Cisco Packet Tracer simulation applications specifically for simulating with Cisco hardware. From the results of the comparison and conclusions of the study, the authors stated that ordinary networks that do not use the DHCP security feature of Snooping have the potential to be exposed to DHCP Rogue attacks. DHCP Rogue attacks causes hackers to be able to control the entire network by only spreading IP from hackers DHCP server to the network. On the other hand, networks that use the DHCP Snooping network security feature are able to completely ward off IP that is spread from hackers and the client only gets IP from the company's official DHCP Server, so the network is safe and protected from the control of hackers.

Abstract

Learning media are generally defined as tools, methods, and techniques that are used sequentially to channel messages and learning information so that communication and interaction between lecturers and students can be more effective in the process of education and teaching. With the advancement of technology, learning media are no longer limited in form and number and can be easily used in the teaching process. Thus, learning media is an important part of the education process, and is one aspect that must be mastered by each teacher to be able to carry out its professional functions. The purpose of this research is to design a learning media for Bataknese Cuisine using Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. The result of this study is Bataknese Cuisine learning application developed and built using Unity software. This application design is expected to provide information and teach the user about Bataknese Cuisine.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis program keamanan sistem informasi pada sebuah perusahaan perakitan elektronika. Pengolahan data merupakan bagian dari operasional bisnis perusahaan. Kerahasiaan, integritas dan ketersediaan informasi menjadi salah satu fokus perusahaan. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif, dimana penulis menggambarkan dan mendeskripsikan fakta yang terjadi atau program apa saja yagn dilakukan berkaitan dengan keamanan sistem informasi. Penulis akan melakukan pengamatan dan pengecekan secara langsung. Hasil dari penelitian akan dapat mengungkapkan sejauh mana program atau aktifitas yang dilakukan dan mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan dari program atau aktifitas yang dijalankan. Dengan mengetahui keberhasilan dalam menjalankan program ini, maka perusahaan akan merasa tenang bahwa informasi perusahaan dapat terkontrol, dilindungi serta dapat diakses ketika diperlukan. Selain itu juga penelitian ini bisa dijadikan perusahaan lain sebagai referensi untuk menerapkan keamanan sistem informasi. Sehingga keberlangsungan bisnis perusahaan dapat terus berjalan.

Abstract

In the current development era, the use of print media is less effective as a promotional medium because it requires a large budget. With the presence of this video testimonial facility, customers can better understand the products they want to offer. With Video Testimonials, PT Telekomunikasi Seluler Branch Batam aims to increase the value of customer trust regarding a trademark so that customers do not turn to use other similar trademarks by presenting interviews about network quality in the area of the Special Hospital for Covid-19 Infection on Galang Island and the installation process Compact Mobile Base Station. Because there are internet network problems that cause difficulties for the community and workers in communicating in the area of the Special Hospital for Covid-19 Infection, PT Telekomunikasi Seluler Branch Batam took the initiative to install a Compact Mobile Base Station.

Abstract

Lack of knowledge of early children about endangered enimals and the limitation of the learning media currently used is making researcher be lifted to make research with help of giving information to children about endangered animals in the form of learning media such as videos and texts provided through unity. This research provides information to early children about endangered animals in the form of learning media such as video and texts that are designed through unity. This study uses the MDLC method to create a learning media application about endangered animals based on Android. Based on the results of this study shows the fact of assistance in the awareness of users of endangered animals.

Abstract

Decision support systems determine employees who have a high priority in receiving bonuses according to criteria set by the company. The decision system is only to help provide decision suggestions more quickly, accurately, and reduce the level of errors during the decision process. The bonus system that employees receive as a design strategy for each employee can work even more. The application of the TOPSIS method has the smallest distance from the positive ideal solution and has the largest distance from the negative ideal solution to produce the ideal solution in the form of a preference value. The results of this study indicate a decision support system that can determine the level of eligibility of an employee to receive bonuses. The criteria used are attendance, behavior, loyalty and work results. As a consideration for the decision makers such as the head of the division, manager. To improve the quality of employee appraisals, in order to be able to give bonuses properly by paying attention to the determination of criteria and provide assessment criteria that are appropriate to increase employee performance motivation.
