Abstract

Intellectual Property can be certain patents, copyright, trademarks, industrial designs, trade secrets, and other rights that are part of the origin of the intellectual property regime. These certain intellectual property rights may be the primary asset that the debtor possesses or at least something of value. In addition, the Law No. 37 of 2004 on Insolvency and the PKPU does not specify in detail whether the property of the property is property of a thing or the right of an entity, because the law only regulates the property that is excluded or the property which is not able to be paid. The curator who wants to administer and manage the property of the bankrupt does not exist like the right has always had difficulties in evaluating the property.

Abstract

One important aspect in the planning process of a project is the calculation of the volume of work or commonly known as the Bill of Quantity (BoQ). BoQ itself is a document detailing the type of work, volume and unit of measurement of all work items to be carried out to determine the final estimated value of a construction job. Calculation of the volume of work will be carried out based on the Work Plan and Conditions (RKS) and drawings that have been approved by the owner. In the construction industry, MEP or Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing is an important factor to realize a building or buildings whose installation system is safe and of good quality. MEP itself is the expertise to plan, design, and manage mechanical, electrical, and piping systems in a building. The actual BoQ results were 5.74% greater than the planned BoQ caused by changes in the work of installing the plumbing system. As well as the most influential factors were changes in design drawings that did not match the conditions in the field and incomplete design drawings.

A total of 20 tests in the form of multiple-choice questions were given to 33 respondents to find out their basic knowledge of mathematics. All respondents worked as journalists in various media in West Kalimantan. The test results showed that 39.39 percent of respondents had low mathematical knowledge, 36.36 percent on medium criteria, 18.18 on high criteria, and 6.07 percent on very low criteria. The results of this test can be a baseline for improving the mathematical knowledge of journalists through various trainings or workshops. Mathematical knowledge is needed for journalists to increase credibility in news writing.

Abstract

This research discusses buying and selling greetings in the context of online trading activities in Indonesia. Buying and selling greetings is a sale and purchase contract allowed in Islam, where the buyer orders goods with agreed criteria and pays in cash when the contract is executed. In buying and selling greetings, there is no element of deception or gharar (uncertainty) involved. This research uses a phenomenological approach with qualitative descriptive research methods of literature. The data used is obtained from books, journals, and texts related to buying and selling online in the marketplace. The article also discusses the contract of salam in a sharia perspective such as the rule of al-Masyaqqah Tajlibu At-Taisir, namely difficulties will encourage convenience, such as transactions using online applications, where salam is the sale and purchase of goods mentioned in nature in dependents with payments made right away. The greeting agreement may be deferred until a certain time and payment can be made in cash. In the greeting contract, there is a delivery of goods at a later date with the price, specifications, quantity, quality, date, and place of delivery that has been agreed before.

Abstract

An overview of the evolution of tax planning research is the goal of this study. Corporate tax planning, or the capacity of the corporation to plan its tax affairs, refers to the use of a variety of techniques to legally lower its tax bills or to take advantage of tax law gaps. The narrative method of reviewing the literature is used in this work, and it entails compiling and synthesising previously published studies on corporate tax planning. The information was gathered from publications by American Accounting Association, Emerald, Elsevier, Inderscience, Taylor and Francis Ltd. that were published in international journals that were indexed by Scopus. Samples from 2010 to 2022 included up to 33 articles about corporate tax planning. Many empirical studies use a quantitative approach by showing that by utilizing transfer pricing with agency theory, corporate tax planning performance can be measured.

This research uses qualitative methods with a literature review approach. Literature review is a systematic, explicit and reproducible method for identifying, evaluating and synthesizing research works and thoughts that have been produced by researchers and practitioners. The results of this study conclude that in this increasingly connected and complex context, international law plays an important role in regulating relations between states and resolving disputes at the global level. However, global power dynamics, the role of international organizations, and global environmental protection are the main challenges that must be faced in the development of international law.

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the implementation, obstacles and efforts to optimize the implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy in the Administrative City of North Jakarta. This study uses a post-positivism research paradigm with a qualitative descriptive method. In this study, there were 7 informants who were interviewed. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion and verification. The results of this study concluded: (1) The implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy in the Administrative City of North Jakarta, was carried out by forming the Covid-19 Task Force based on the Decree of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province Number 1023 of 2020 concerning the Task Force for Handling Covid-19 in DKI Jakarta Province. The North Jakarta Administrative City Covid-19 Task Force also appealed to all people to implement health protocols by implementing 3M, namely wearing masks, washing hands and maintaining distance and avoiding crowds. As for people who violate the rules will be subject to strict sanctions. (2) Obstacles in the implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy in the Administrative City of North Jakarta, include the low awareness and discipline of the community towards applicable regulations, as seen in the presence of places to eat that are open at night, places of worship that are still carrying out activities , the behavior of people who do not wear masks when outside the house, in crowds and so on. In addition, the minimal budget and the inadequate number of law enforcement and enforcement supervisors are factors hindering the optimal implementation of the PSBB policy. (3) Efforts that need to be made to optimize the implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) policy in the Administrative City of North Jakarta, one of which is by forming a Task Force Team for the Acceleration of Handling Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) consisting of various stakeholders to provide understanding and outreach to the public about the PSBB policy. Next is to fulfill the availability of infrastructure or supporting facilities for the implementation of the PSBB policy in handling Covid-19, such as the availability of masks, disinfectant fluids and also the availability of complete and adequate rapid test equipment. Another anticipatory step is preventive action from the government, especially the Ministry of Health, which cooperates with immigration in monitoring and preventing the entry of new viruses from outside to Indonesia through screening people who come to Indonesia.
