Abstract

It’s crucial for children’s growth to socialize and play among their peers. To accommodate children’s need to play, some housing developers, including Perumahan Graha Padma, provide playground. However, in Taman Oleander cluster, children barely use the playground as they prefer to play on the street in front of their house instead. It is important to understand the cause of the phenomenon in order to solve the root of the problem. To conduct the research, the data is collected through observation and interview with children who are playing on the street. Then the collected data will be analyzed to interpret the quality of the street and the playground as a place for children’s activities. The playground in Taman Oleander cluster is too far from the houses and too narrow for children to play. On top of that, parents don’t feel safe letting their children to play at their blind spot area. This research can be used as a reference, so in the future when developers creating more playgrounds, children will use them.

Abstract

Population growth is increasing every year, which can lead to an increase in demand for housing needs. Therefore, efficiency in the utilization and use of land in urban areas can be done vertical housing development, as an option to solve the problem of housing needs on limited land, easily accessible to people in Sidoarjo Regency who have lower middle income (MBR). In collecting data in this research on the object of Rusunawa Bulusidokare, namely the observation method (observation) and the review method (survey), namely by interview. To obtain data related to residential units, using the observation method. As for the review method (object survey) carried out by means of face-to-face interviews, in order to obtain data related to the characteristics of rusunawa residents when using residential units based on occupant behavior. The characteristics of the residential unit in the Bulusidokare Simple Rental Flat (Rusunawa) Sidoarjo Regency are residential units by utilizing space based on an understanding of the needs of each occupant of one residential unit of the flat.

Abstract

UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah) have an important role in regional and national economic growth. Every year the number of UMKM always increases in each region, one of which is Surabaya City. With the large number of UMKM, facilities are needed that can develop this, one of the Surabaya City Government's strategies to develop UMKM products in Surabaya City is by providing facilities to UMKM players in the form of a forum to market their products and also coaching to develop the products of UMKM players.

Abstract

Oseanarium merupakan destinasi wisata populer di Indonesia.  Artikel ini membahas transformasi digital dalam merancang oseanarium terkini. Metode penelitian melibatkan survei dan observasi ke 2 lokasi oseanarium utama di Jakarta, satu oseanarium di Singapura dan satu lagi di siam paragon Bangkok, guna mendapatkan gambaran tentang operasional, dan implementasi teknologi digital. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengintegrasikan pengalaman penulis sebagai desainer publik Akuarium dan selama 20 tahun sebagai pengelola di salah satu publik akuarium di kawasan Jakarta. Strategi saat ini harus menggunakan teknologi IoT untuk sistem manajemen energi pintar dan pemantauan lingkungan akuatik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi interaktif di banyak lokasi dapat memberikan pengalaman edukasi yang menarik dan tak terlupakan bagi para pengunjung. Salah satu teknologi yang menarik dan disukai bagi pengunjung adalah penggunaan teknologi hologram, pengunjung dapat merasakan sensasi berada di dalam laut dan berinteraksi dengan hewan-hewan laut dalam lingkungan virtual yang realistis. Hal ini meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang kehidupan akuatik dan nilai melindungi lingkungan laut. Transformasi digital ini tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi operasional oseanarium, tetapi juga memperkaya pengalaman pengunjung melalui penerapan teknologi interaktif. Dengan mengimplementasikan rencana ini, diharapkan oseanarium di Indonesia akan memperluas dan menghasilkan manfaat bagi kelestarian ekosistem laut, meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang biologi biota laut, dan memberikan pengalaman berkualitas tinggi bagi pengunjung.

Abstract

Waste is the remaining solid waste formed from natural processes and daily human activities. Waste has the potential to disrupt the environment and public health if not managed or handled properly. In solving this waste problem, it needs to be done comprehensively and integrated from upstream to downstream by the entire community through waste banks. The role of waste banks as one of the waste reduction solutions in Sidoarjo Regency is still not maximized, due to the lack of understanding and ability of the community. Based on this, it is necessary to reduce the volume of waste generation in a sustainable manner through a facility to educate the community as well as a forum for waste management. The purpose of this study is to determine the need for facilities needed to solve waste problems based on demographics in Sidoarjo Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, the types of data used are qualitative and quantitative data. In collecting data, the author uses primary data through interviews with related government, while secondary data is obtained through media publications such as articles and journals. Based on the results of the analysis, the conclusion is that based on the demographic conditions of Sidoarjo Regency, the facilities needed include: Main Waste Bank, TPS 3R, waste information gallery, recycled art gallery, hall, waste practicum room, auditorium.

Abstract

Various traditional arts are truly national cultural assets, one of which is Lamongan Regency, one of which is Boranan culture in Lamongan Regency. In 2023, the Boran dance won a MURI record. The dance performance was attended by 1,569 students and 4,540 portions of Boran rice were based on the philosophy of the anniversary year. Lamongan, namely in 1,569 AD, which is currently 454 years old. Apart from that, the Boran dance was also able to win awards at the provincial and national levels. The art of boran dance cannot be separated from the culinary boran rice, culinary rice boran is a typical food of Lamongan Regency which has been around for a long time in Lamongan Regency. Then what is the solution so that Boranan culture becomes more widely known and can become a tourist destination in Lamongan district by creating or designing facilities that are able to facilitate and present Boranan culture. This research uses descriptive methodology which is carried out by collecting data. Design of Boranan cultural facilities, using the concept of local wisdom with a direct analogy approach to elevate local culture, especially Boranan culture, in an architectural form that is able to represent Boranan culture and is able to make Boranan culture a tourist destination in Lamongan district.

Abstract

Indonesia has many islands in every region, both provinces/cities and districts. It is not surprising that each region in Indonesia has its own historical value in the formation of that region. Especially in Lamongan district, specifically in Sedayulawas, which has historical value during the emporium era which was one of the trade centers on the Indonesian spice route. so that there are relics in the form of objects, artifacts or stories that must be looked after in order to be preserved. This is used as a form of commemorating the existence of a very important historical heritage. The design of the Sedayulawa Emporium Museum is expected to be a place to care for, protect and collect historical objects and stories. The design of this museum will use a memorabilia architecture approach which in this case is able to create a museum environment by combining historical aspects so that it will form a sense of plan which is the embodiment of the impression of space and its function from a relationship of ontology and representation. This research uses a qualitative description method with data analysis using primary and secondary data. The results of this research will apply the form of buildings in the form of memorabilia taken from star anise flowers as one of the bases for designing a museum that is related to the historical values ​​that existed during the emporium period in Sedayulawas, Lamongan Regency. This star anise flower will later undergo a change in shape or transformation to be used as a museum building for the Sedayulawas emporium in Lamongan district.
