Abstract

The stock market is very important in the country's economy, namely as a source of corporate funding and especially in investments that have the aim of increasing the welfare of investors and companies. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the rate of return on carbon costs, Brent crude oil, palm oil, interest rates, and exchange rates on the rate of return on energy stock prices in Asia-Pacific countries from 1st January 2016 to end of December 2021. In this study, the phenomena were explored utilizing quantitative approaches to collect data and test previously determined hypotheses. The panel data model is used, as well as the VECM (Vector Error Correlation Model) test. The results show that the influence of CO2 return on energy sector returns is negative in the short term but positive in the long term. Return on energy industry and return on Brent oil have both short-term and long-term unfavorable effects. The return of the use of palm oil has an advantageous long-term and short-term impact on the energy industry's return. The exchange rate has only a short-term negative relationship with the return of energy. Lastly, there is no long-term or short-term correlation between interest rates and the return on energy. The implication of this result is that industries must switch to using environmentally friendly devices and governments must declare regulations to emitters producers.

Abstract

Investors in Indonesia pay attention to the financial market's investment tools, including mutual funds. Some mutual funds even provide a higher return on investment than alternative stock investments, with a lower level of risk be-cause investment managers properly manage them. This research aims to determine how stock mutual fund success is affected by factors such as stock selection, market timing, mutual fund size, and Covid-19, with Covid-19 serving as a moderator. Purposive sampling was utilized to conduct research on Indonesian equity funds. This study's sample consists of equity funds administered by fourteen investment management firms authorized and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Panel data regression analysis in Eviews is used to examine the information. It was discovered that neither mutual fund size nor Covid-19 played a statistically important role in determining the success of equity funds. However, equity fund returns are significantly influenced by company picking and market timing. As a supplementary benefit, Covid-19 can significantly reduce the beneficial effects of overly optimistic stock picking on the returns of equity funds. This research also demonstrates that the effects of mutual fund size and market timing on stock fund returns are not reduced by using Covid-19.

Abstract

Economic growth is measured by changes in a country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) which can be broken down into population and economic elements. This research was conducted to determine the conditions of economic growth in the country of Indonesia with a total of 34 provinces in the 2016-2021 observation period, a total of 204 samples. The data collection technique was carried out by downloading files on the official website of the Central Bureau of Statistics in Indonesia for 2016-2021, while data analysis was carried out using econometric models by comparing the FD-GMM Arellano-Bond and Sys-GMM Blundell-Bond models, then for the second stage determining which model is the best to use in modeling. Data processing in research using Stata software version 17.0. In panel data, economic variables are dynamic, meaning that the value of a variable can be influenced by the value of another variable and the value of the variable concerned, in the previous period, in addition to knowing the short-term and long-term impacts of economic growth. Based on panel data regression estimation, the best model is obtained. -GMM Blundell-Bond). The results of the study revealed that researchers found the results of data processing using the System Generalized Method of Moment (Sys-GMM Blundell-Bond) and FD-GMM ARELLANO-BOND economic growth in Indonesia is influenced by the human development index, poverty level, agglomeration, with the impact of elasticity on economic growth short term and long term.

Abstract

This study aims to build a development model for KSP Balo'ta based on the philosophy of “Balo'ta” as a guide in building core values into strengths that “animate” all aspects of good co-operative governance of KSP Balo'ta. This research offers the potential to understand the philosophy of “balo'ta” which is expected to play a role in value-based communication and management. Cooperatives are organizations that have the potential and great possibility to drive social change. In facing economic difficulties, cooperatives are an option to utilize existing productive resources in the face of economic instability and efforts to improve people's welfare. The Balo'ta Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) is one of the pillars of the economy, especially in Toraja (Tana Toraja and North Toraja). Membership-based characteristics of KSP Balo'ta indicate that strength must be built “from the inside”. Besides that, collegiate leadership demands the same values among all organizational components. One important aspect is building the basic values or virtues of cooperatives (co-operative core values) as the foundation. The results of this study indicate that the process of inheritance and internalization of values can be built based on history, the meaning attached to the word "balo" and culture (tongkonan and alang). For cooperatives that are aware of the importance of co-operative values, the values that exist and are believed to be the norms that apply in the organization will be stated explicitly and used as guidelines for all individual behavior in KSP Balo'ta.

Abstract

The quality of education is very dependent on the management of education management one of the important factors in the management of education is monitoring and evaluation. Therefore, continuous Education Supervision supported by the appointment of competent supervisors will have implications for the quality of education. Supervision of education management is carried out by the principal or teacher appointed to carry out managerial and academic supervision in certain educational units. The problem that often occurs is that grouping teacher data to be selected as supervisor candidates are still conventional. Therefore, a teacher data grouping model is needed to obtain useful information in planning strategic steps and policy regulations for determining prospective supervisors for academic units. By utilizing Information and Communication Technology, especially in the field of Data Mining, this Teacher Data Grouping research uses the Fuzzy C-Means and Self Organizing Maps method, and the grouping results are analyzed by measuring the spread of data on each grouping formed by using cluster variance. The output of the Teacher Data grouping process using the Fuzzy C-Means and Self Organizing Maps methods can bring up a group of Teacher Data nominations that are competent to be selected as candidates for supervisors for certain educational units. The research results were obtained by forming several groupings in Fuzzy C-Means by providing an error accuracy value of 0.1 and Self Organizing Maps, which is set by the learning rate and learning rate; the results obtained are grouping with 3 clusters by providing a learning rate of 0.8 and a learning rate of 0.7 in the Self Organizing Maps method has a Variant value that is ideal compared to grouping on Fuzzy C-Means and rather than the same method by forming different groups.
