Drug trafficking is one of the problems that still occurs in Indonesia and is now a serious problem, especially for adolescents or the younger generation. Adolescents are of productive age who really need special attention, where the level of self-search tends to be unstable and the mindset is instant. Therefore there is anxiety among the community including parents about the behavior of adolescents who are still unable to control themselves in things that are dangerous and destructive to themselves and tend to lead to acts of violating norms or legal rules. So there is a need for efforts to prevent abuse. drugs. One of the triggers for the increasing level of drug abuse is the lack of socialization to the public which results in minimal information about the dangers of narcotics abuse. The purpose of this study was to determine the function of posters on social media in making it easier for the public to obtain information regarding the dangers of narcotics abuse. The instrument used was a poster design uploaded on social media. The method used in data collection is primary data which is obtained directly through comments and suggestions from followers. The results obtained are the easier it is for the public to obtain information about the dangers of drugs as a solution in preventing drug abuse. It is hoped that the use of posters on Instagram social media can become a media of information about the dangers of drug abuse

This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry training learning model using macromedia flash on student learning outcomes on momentum and impulse material in class X semester II Teladan Medan academic year 2017/2018. This type of research is a quasi experiment with two group research designs pre-test and post-test. The population in the study were all students of class X Senior High School Teladan Medan. Sampling was done by random sampling, namely class X-3 as an experimental class by applying the inquiry training learning model using macromedia flash and class X-2 as a control class that applies conventional learning, each class consists of 40 students. The instrument used was in the form of a multiple choice test of 15 questions that had been validated by the validator and student activity observation sheets in the experimental class and the control class. The results of pre-test data processing showed that the pre-test mean value of the experimental class was 31.83 and the control class was 30.49, the post-test average value of the experimental class was 75.33 and the control class was 64.83. The average score of the experimental class student activity reached 66.72% in the active category and the control class reached 54.50% in the less active category. The results obtained show that there was an effect of the inquiry training learning model using macromedia flash on student learning outcomes on momentum and impulse material in class X Senior High School Teladan Medan academic year 2017/2018.

This study aims to describe the effectiveness and method of lectures that took place during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic requires all aspects of life to adapt, including in the field of education. This research is a descriptive quantitative study with a simple survey method using an instrument in the form of a google form which was designed to find out what students and lecturers think about lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic. The opinion in question was an opinion about the method or media used as well as the difficulties faced in the implementation of online lectures during the pandemic. This study used a purposive sampling technique, namely 5 universities in Indonesia consisting of 200 lecturers and 200 students. All respondents were asked to fill out an online questionnaire in the form of a google form designed to find out the methods or media used in lectures as well as the difficulties faced in using the media. The survey results show that the combination of media that was mostly used by lecturers and students in lectures is Whatsapp Group, Zoom Meeting, campus E-Learning Website, and Google Classroom. The majority of difficulties experienced by lecturers and students in online implementation are the uneven quality of internet connections. Lecturers find it difficult to psychologically assess students who are attending lectures. Lecturers cannot ensure the seriousness of students in the lecture process. In addition, the lecturer also feels that it takes a lot of time in the matter of using the application or media technically, so it is quite disruptive to the course of lectures such as the slow pace of learning media and the length of time required for students to join in the meeting. Lecturers and students still consider online lectures to be ineffective

This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning model type of group investigation on student’s conceptual knowledge and activities in the subject work and energy. This research is a quasi-experiment using two-group pretest-posttest design. The study sample consisted of two classes, namely the XI MIA-1 class as the experimental class and the XI MIA-3 class as the control of which amounted to 32 students, the sampling be done with random sampling technique. The instrument used was a test of learning outcomes in the form of students conceptual knowledge in the form of 8 essay test. In the experimental class the average activity of students in the three meetings, are 60%, 72% and 87%. From the data obtained, there is evidence of the effect of group investigation models in improving learning activity on work and energy topic in XI Senior High School 10 Medan. The hypothesis with t-test shows the result there was a significant influence of cooperative learning model type group investigation to conceptual knowledge student subject of work and energy in class XI SMA Negeri 10 Medan T.P 2018/2019. Keywords: cooperative learning type group investigation, activities, conceptual knowledge

Based on Circular Number 4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Education Policies in the emergency period of the spread of the virus, the Minister of Education and Culture urges all educational institutions not to carry out the teaching and learning process directly or face-to-face, but must be done indirectly or remotely. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the distance learning model during the Covid-19 pandemic in the city of Medan. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique uses an online questionnaire. From the results of the survey regarding the use of applications in the learning process, the most are using WhatsApp and Google Class Room. The process of delivering the respondent's subject matter answered sufficiently. The learning method used is the assignment and demonstration method. Assignments are given by the teacher via google form via the whatsapp group or via google class room. Based on the research results, it is concluded that the application of distance learning models (distance learning) cannot be said to be effective as long Covid-pandemic19 in the city of Medan because there were still many obstacles experienced by teachers in the learning process

This study aims to determine the application of the inquiry training learning model with multiple representations of student learning outcomes and problem solving abilities in the subject of Elasticity and Hooke's Law. This study used a quasi experimental method with a two group pretest – posttest research design. The study population was all students of class XI which consisted of 5 classes. The sample was determined by cluster random sampling. Class XI MIA 1 as the experimental class and XI MIA 5 as the control class, each of which consists of 30 students. The instrument used consisted of 10 multiple choice questions for learning outcomes and 5 essay questions for problem solving abilities and had been validated by the validator. The research data shows that the pretest mean value of learning outcomes in the experimental class is 33.00 and the control class was 30.00. Data from the mean pretest of problem-solving ability of the experimental class was 26.22 and the control class was 25.26. The normality and homogeneity tests on the pretest data for the experimental and control classes showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The t test results showed that the two classes had the same initial ability significantly. After the treatment was carried out in each class, the post-test mean score of learning outcomes in the experimental class was 69.67 and the control class was 58.33. The post-test mean value of problem-solving abilities in the experimental class was 74.52 and the control class was 65.48. The results of hypothesis testing using the t test on student learning outcomes and problem solving abilities showed that learning outcomes and problem-solving abilities were significantly higher in the experimental class than in the control class. The results of data analysis showed that the inquiry training learning model with multiple representations contributed to the scores obtained by students in the experimental class. It can be stated that the inquiry training learning model with multiple representations has an effect on student learning outcomes and problem solving abilities.
