Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of price and brand image on interest in buying Iphone 12 in students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra. The approach used in this study is an associative approach. The population in this study were 4,175 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra, while the sample in this study used the slovin formula as many as 98 people. Data collection techniques in this study used interview techniques, documentation studies, observation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study uses Multiple Linear Regression Test, Hypothesis Testing (T Test and F Test), and Coefficient of Determination. Data processing in this study used the IBM SPSS Statistic 23 software program.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of the Current Ratio, Debt to Assets Ratio and Working Capital Turnoveron Return On Assets in plastic and packaging companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study is all plastic and packaging company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange while the sample that meets the criteria for sampling observations carried out for seven years and as many as six yearsplastic and packaging company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research approach uses associative research.Data collection techniques in this study using documentation techniques. cand the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. The results showed that the independent variables in this study had a simultaneous effect on Return On Assets. While the partial test proves the Cuirrent Ratio variable has a significant effect on Return On Assets, while partially proves the Debt to Assets Ratio variable andWorking Capital Turnover does not have a positive effect on Return On Assets in plastic and packaging companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze whether Work Discipline, Work Motivation, and Job Training together (simultaneously) or alone (partial) had an effect on Employee Performance at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Medan Branch.The approach used in this study is an associative approach. The population and sample in this study were all employees of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Medan Branch in the Data and Management section totaling 50 people using a saturated sample. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire technique (questionnaire). The data analysis technique in this study uses the Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Regression, Hypothesis Testing (t Test and F Test), and Coefficient of Determination. Data processing in this study used a computer software program Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26.00.The results showed that partially work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Medan Branch. Partially it is known that motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Medan Branch. Likewise with job training which has a positive and significant impact on employee performance at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Medan Branch. Meanwhile, simultaneously this research proves that work discipline, work motivation and job training have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership and communication on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable at the Dr Wahidin Sudirohusodo National Higher Education Foundation, Medan. The number of samples in this study were 76 respondents using simple random sampling method. This type of research is quantitative research using path analysis techniques and questionnaire data. Path analysis hypothesis test is done by using multiple linear analysis, classical assumption test and intervention test. Based on the results of research with hypothesis testing, the variables of transformational leadership and communication partially have a positive and significant effect on work motivation. The transformational leadership and communication variables partially show a significant effect on employee performance. Transformational leadership on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable has a positive and significant indirect effect and there is an influence of communication on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable. The variables of transformational leadership and communication have a simultaneous effect on work motivation. The variables of transformational leadership, communication, and work motivation simultaneously affect employee performance with a coefficient of determination of 87.8% which means that the variables of transformational leadership, communication and work motivation can explain employee performance as much as 87.8% and the remaining 12, 2% is explained by other variables such as discipline, commitment, compensation and others. Transformational leadership and communication variables have a simultaneous effect on work motivation. The variables of transformational leadership, communication, and work motivation simultaneously affect employee performance with a coefficient of determination of 87.8% which means that the variables of transformational leadership, communication and work motivation can explain employee performance as much as 87.8% and the remaining 12.2% is explained by other variables such as discipline, commitment, compensation and others. Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are one of the drivers of national economic growth, because of their ability to absorb workers equal to 95% with a total investment of 60.4%. This study aims to examine the effect of capital capability, empowerment, and product innovation on the competitiveness of micro, small and medium enterprises. And the role of product innovation as a mediating variable in the indirect influence between the coaching program and capital on the competitiveness of micro, small and medium enterprises in Aceh. Study designs a Quantitative Research. This research was conducted on micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Aceh Province, Indonesia. The population in this study were micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The research sample was determined by purposive sampling, with a sample size of 272 SMEs. While the data analysis tool usesStructural Equation Modeling (SEM) Amos to test the effect between exogenous variables and endogenous variables. Pdirect effect test found that capital has no effect on product innovation by -0.035, P-Value 0.754 (Not supported H1). Empowerment has a significant effect on product innovation by 0.249, p-value 0.030 (Supported H2). Capital has a significant effect on the competitiveness of SMEs by 0.220, p-vale 0.014 (Supported H3). Empowerment has a significant effect on MSME competitiveness by 0.542, and p-value 0.000 (Supported H4), and product innovation has a significant effect on MSME competitiveness by 0.274 and p-value 0.000 (supported H5). To test the indirect effect using the Sobel test calculator, it was found that product innovation variables were able to partially mediate the relationship between capital and empowerment on the competitiveness of SMEs. The results of the study indicate that the Empowerment and Product Innovation variables have a significant effect on the competitiveness of MSMEs both directly and indirectly, except for the Capital variable which is found to be insignificant to Product Innovation. Finally, the researcher concludes that the competitiveness of micro, small and medium enterprises in Aceh is determined by the factors of capital capability, empowerment program and product innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to measure job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior for permanent lecturers, a case study at a private Islamic university in Medan at a private Islamic university in Medan. While the specific objectives are 1). Identifying the level of Job Satisfaction of lecturers at the Private Islamic University in Medan City, 2). Studying the factors that affect the Job Satisfaction of lecturers at a private Islamic University in Medan City. The study population was all permanent lecturers at private Islamic universities in Medan, namely Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra, Islamic University of North Sumatra, Muslim Nusantara University Al-Washliyah, Al-Washliyah University and Al-Azhar University. However, in this study it is only limited to Islamic universities owned by the Islamic Foundation (Islamic Organization), namely UMSU and UMN, totaling 425 permanent lecturers who have functional positions as Expert Assistant, Lector and Head Lector. The sampling technique in this study was carried out using a proportional random sample or proportional random sampling and obtained as many as 219 people. The data analysis method used in this research is the Structural Equation Model method. The results of this study indicate that Spiritual Leadership, Self Efficacy, Locus of Control affect Organizational citizenship behavior. Spiritual Leadership, Self Efficacy, Locus of Control affect Job Satisfaction. Spiritual Leadership has an effect on Job Satisfaction through Organizational citizenship behavior. Self Efficacy has an effect on Job Satisfaction through Organizational citizenship behavior. Locus of Control has an effect on Job Satisfaction through Organizational citizenship behavior

Abstract

This research aims to find out the Effect of Company Size, Board of Commissioners Size, and Profitability on Corporate Social Responsibility Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the Period 2014-2018. This research approach uses an associative research approach. The method of data collection is done by means of data documentation sourced from the annual report of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Based on the collection of samples conducted using the check list according to criteria, obtained the number of research samples as many as 6 companies from 15 populations. Research samples during the period 2014-2018 and data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests that include normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and heteroskedity tests, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing which includes t test, f test and coefficient of determination. The results showed that the Size of the Company had a positive but insignificant effect on Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure, the Size of the Board of Commissioners had a positive but insignificant effect on the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility, and Profitability had a positive but insignificant effect on the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility on Automotive companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018.

Abstract

The results showed that Capital Expenditure had no partial effect on Financial Performance, Size of Local Government partially affected Financial Performance, and the Remaining Budget Financing partially affected Financial Performance. Partially, Capital Expenditure, Size of Local Government, and Remaining Budget Financing together have an effect on the Financial Performance of district/city governments in North Sumatra Province. The R-Square value is 0.815 or 81.5%. This shows that the variables of Capital Expenditure, Size of Local Government, and Remaining Budget Financing are able to explain the Financial Performance variable of 81.5%. While the remaining 18.5% is explained by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

Changes in consumer behavior require companies to rethink their marketing strategies, especially in the digital marketing era. The Covid-19 pandemic has suppressed the marketing performance of MSMEs in a negative direction, so MSMEs need to improve their marketing strategies towards the concept of digital marketing. This study aims to analyze the role of the digital marketing platform, marketing orientation and entrepreneur orientation on the marketing performance of MSMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic in North Aceh Regency. This research is survey research with a sampling approach, the number of samples used in this study is 131 MSME actors in North Aceh Regency which are determined by purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equational Modeling (SEM) software Amos. Based on a survey of marketing managers and MSME managers, this study shows that MSMEs face various internal and external pressures to adopt digital marketing platforms as a medium to improve their marketing. This can be seen from the low perception of respondents on the influence of the entrepreneurial orientation variable on marketing performance. However, in this case, MSME Marketing Performance is influenced by digital marketing and marketing orientation, each coefficient value for digital marketing is 0.215 and CR 3.387 (P-Value 0.000 < 0.05) and marketing orientation is 0.621 and CR 8.466 (P-Value 0.000 < 0.05). ). The involvement of digital marketing and marketing orientation in MSMEs is expected to increase the company's performance and income. To increase digital marketing engagement, MSME actors who focus on relationship-based interactions with their customers through various digital marketing platforms and on-line buying and selling sites are still expected. This research shows how some companies outside of MSMEs have achieved this. This study makes an important contribution in improving the marketing performance of MSMEs through the relationship of digital marketing platforms, customer orientation and entrepreneurial orientation.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is the most common cancer among women. Cervical cancer attacks the female reproductive organs and uterus. Every year thousands of women die from cervical cancer. Poor living habits can also cause outbreaks of cervical cancer, such as smoking, lack of nutrition, long-term use of oral contraceptives, sexual activity that is often among adolescents. The level of knowledge of young women about cervical cancer prevention in the MayjendSutoyo College Foundation Senior High School Medan. World Health Organization (WHO) states, currently cervical cancer is ranked among the various types of cancer that causes death in women in the world. Cervical cancer can be prevented by doing primary prevention and secondary prevention. This type of research is a descriptive study conducted. The population in this study were female students at the MayjendSutoyo College Foundation in Medan. A sample of 39 people were taken in total sampling. Data obtained using a questionnaire. The conclusion of the study is the level of knowledge of young women in the MayjendSutoyo Medan Foundation High School in the prevention of cervical cancer is still in the sufficient category.
