Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the extent of the effect of operating cycles, market concentration, operating cash flow and institutional ownership on profit persistence in PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. The data collection technique used is secondary data in the form of an annual report 2013-2020 from the company PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. Samples in this study were taken from the financial statements of PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Medan on a quarterly basis of 2013-2020 so that the data obtained is as much as 4 periods x 8 years = 32 data. The data to be analyzed by quantitative methods. The results showed that the Operating Cycle, Market Concentration, Operating Cash Flow and Institutional Ownership together have an effect and significantly on Profit Persistence in PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk and only Operating Cash Flow have a positive effect on Profit Persistence in PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk while other variables negatively affect the Persistence of Profit in PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk.

Abstract

Nowadays, the growth of the business is getting faster, resulting in the increasing competition between business industries. Therefore, many business owners are trying to improve their income to be able to survive in the fierce competition in the industries. Using an auditor in the company shows the importance of an auditor in a company. This final project is to aim to see the impact of experience, training, professionalism, independence, and motivation in PT.Alam Jaya Wirasentosa. The research methods used in this final project are quantitative methods. The sample population containing 32 samples are gathered from all the employee working in the audit department from PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa, the technique used to gather this sample is using nonprobability sampling. And the analysis data method use to create a hypothesis is multiple regression. The result of this final project shows that experience, training, professionalism, independence and motivation have simultaneously and significantly impacted the auditor performance in PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa. Also, the result has shown that experience, training, professionalism, independence and motivation have partially improved the performance of auditors in PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, the business world has developed rapidly, it can be seen the number of new companies that cause the level of competition in the business world is getting higher, one of which is in the field of advertising. Promotion is considered important in the business world. This study aims to determine how the effect of raw material inventories, fixed assets, short-term debt on net profit at PT.Ervin Sukses Mujurindo. This study was conducted using financial statement data of PT. Ervin Sukses Mujurindo. The samples used in this study are raw material inventories, fixed assets, Short-Term Debt, production costs and net income and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that partially inventories of raw materials, fixed assets and production costs do not affect net income, while short-term debt affects net income. Simultaneously variable inventories of raw materials, fixed assets, short-term debt, and production costs significant effect to net income.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the financial ratios of companies that merge or acquire. The study period used is 2015-2019. Purposive sampling was used in the sampling technique, and 7 companies were obtained. The data used is secondary data obtained from KPPU and BEI. SPSS version 25 was used to analyze data on test normality, pairedˑsample t-tests, andˑWilcoxon's signedˑrank test. There was a significant difference in the liquidity ratio proxied by current ratio between 1 (one) year before and 1 (one), 2 (two), and 3 (three) years after a merger or acquisition, but no significant difference in the profitability ratios proxied by return on assets, return on equity, and net profit margin, solvency ratio proxied by debt to asset ratio, and activity ratio proxied by total asset turnover between 1 (one) year before and 1 (one) year after

Abstract

The study aims to design application concepts and prototypes of differentiation strategies in achieving competitive advantage in restaurants using a design thinking model (a case study on a restaurant at Medan City), related to the problem of restaurants that must be able to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic situation amid of a highly competitive environment. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach and used purposive random sampling for sampling. The type of data used is primary and secondary data with data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses value chain analysis, and design thinking models. The results showed that the conceptual design in building the application of a differentiation strategy to achieve competitive advantage in restaurants consisted of four data pillars, namely (i) identification, (ii) analysis of potential sources of differentiation, (iii) creating differentiation, and (iv) restaurant value chains. The prototype built on the application of a restaurant's differentiation strategy consists of five differentiations, namely: (i) product differentiation, (ii) service differentiation, (iii) place differentiation, (iv) personnel differentiation, and (v) channel differentiation. This research is expected to be able to build an application of competitive strategy through an effective differentiation strategy, making it easier for restaurant business people to develop and define differentiation strategies in achieving competitive advantage and provide opportunities for restaurant businesses to always innovate in strategies that are adaptive to any changes in the dynamic and complex environment.

Abstract

5000 to 15000 liters of used cooking oil contaminate soil and water. The cooking oil is wasted in the water flow and settles on the ground. Therefore, it is needed to overcome environmental problems. Citizen participation is required to support the circular economy program to overcome environmental issues. This study aims to investigate the used Cooking Oil and identify stakeholders who will play a role in supporting the recycling of used Cooking Oil. This qualitative research involves collecting and analyzing non-numerical data to understand concepts, opinions, or experiences. The results of this study are 1. Most of the citizens still throw the used cooking oil in inappropriate places 2. Seven stakeholders are needed to support Citizens in Participation in Cooking Oil Recycling: Palm Oil Industries, Biofuels Industries, Eco-Rewards, Collectors, Social Media campaigns, Head of RT, and national and local Government regulators. The collaboration among the stakeholders will determine the success of the recycling program. In addition, this research contributes to the knowledge base in nurturing citizen participation in a circular economy.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the spearheads of a country's economy. The development of MSMEs, especially in Indonesia, continues to grow from year to year, one of the MSMEs that continues to grow is the textile and textile product processing sector (TPT) or commonly known as the convection business. The great prospect makes competition in this sector even tighter, so that convection business actors must have a strategy that can be used to compete, one of which is using a marketing strategy. This study aims to identify and analyze the marketing strategies used by the convection business in Medan Denai District in carrying out business activities in making clothing products so that they can compete with similar businesses. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were obtained from both primary and secondary data. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained through related agency data and literature study. The data analysis technique used is the SWOT method.The results of the study show that MSMEs in Medan Denai Sub-district in their marketing strategy apply a marketing mix strategy in marketing their products, namely through product strategies, pricing strategies, distribution channel strategies and promotional strategies. To win the competition with similar businesses, MSMEs in Medan Denai District can use a combination of SO (strength opportunity) strategies, namely by expanding market share, improving the quality of human resources, improving product and service quality and maximizing promotions

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of Work Family Conflict on the performance of female teachers in SMK Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, the effect of work life balance on the performance of female teachers in SMK Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, and the effect of work family conflict and work life balance on the performance of female teachers in SMK Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. The type of study quantitative and associative method. The sources of data in this study was primary data in the form of questionnaires. The data collection method in this research was field research by distributing questionnaires. The population in this study was 105 teachers with the total sample of 35 female teachers. The sampling technique in this study used the non-probability sampling, namely the purposive sampling technique. The instrument requirements test in this study used validity test and reliability test. The data analysis requirements test in this study used the normality test, linearity test and multi-collinearity test. The data analysis method used the multiple linear regression and the hypothesis testing used t-test and F-test. The result of this study found that Work Family Conflict affected the performance of female teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, Work Life Balance affected the performance of female teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, Work Family Conflict and Work Life Balance affected the performance of female teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. Abstract

There are many companies in Banten Province, with several companies with the most significant capital investment as an industrial head in modern Cikande in Serang regency. Each company has several Trade Unions housed in Serang Regency such as the National Workers Union (SPN), which has been established for a long time in Serang district. Workers are assets of companies where they are the most essential part of carrying out production activities in each company, workers are members of the Trade Unions who have a high dedication in protecting workers and their members in all the rights owned by workers in each company in the field of education, so that the quality of self possessed by workers becomes one capital to develop knowledge and performance in the company where they work. The Branch Representative Council (SPN) of Serang Regency has a development in the field of work programs in the National Trade Union, to be used as a work reference in providing welfare and quality of work life for the development of potential in the field of education and training for its members.

Abstract

Banten Province is a significant business attraction. Some of the factors are the strategic position of Banten Province close to the capital city of Jakarta and the inter-island link in trade and logistics delivery, as for others, significant infrastructure growth, as well as the attractiveness of investment and the significant growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) until their products have been exported abroad. Thus, the Banten Provincial government seeks to maximize regional revenues and help state revenues for sustainable development, especially the community's welfare.The realization of MSME tax revenues has not been optimal, even slowing down in 2021. This study aims to find out the extent of tax knowledge for MSME actors and taxpayer awareness of MSME actors which has an impact on the compliance of MSME actors in paying taxes, as well as whether with the tax sanctions rules, MSME actors in Banten Province will comply with their obligations as taxpayers, so that MSME taxpayers in Banten Province can make a significant contribution to state income through the type of MSME income tax. It is hoped that this research can increase the knowledge and awareness of MSME taxpayers in paying taxes to avoid tax sanctions, and also impact state revenues.This study describes the level of tax knowledge and awareness of MSME taxpayers towards taxpayer compliance, as well as the extent to which MSME actors can avoid tax sanctions so that MSME actors can comply with paying taxes. This stage of research consists of preparing a research design, determining the location, and the subject to be studied, field studies through presurvey activities, collecting supporting data, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions on the data that has been analyzed.
