Abstract

Learning resources used by educators in schools in the process of physics learning is still not capable of making learners become more active and independent in the learning process. Learning resources used were still in the form of regular print books and not interactive so that learning will be monotonous, learners less motivated and lazy to do the task given. The solution to this problem was to use an interactive module that has been designed. This research aimed to produce integrated interactive module guided inquiry using course lab application for business material, energy, momentum and impulse at Class X high school physics learning which is valid and practical. This research was a research development using R & D model Sugiyono. This model consiststed of 10 stages, but the research is only up to seven stages: knowing potentials and problems, gathering information, designing products, validating designs, revising designs, testing products, and revising products. Research subjects in this research are 3 validators to know the value of product validity, 2 educators, and learners in a class X SMA 6 Kerinci to know the practical value of the product. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. Based on the research which had been done, the product was produced in the form of interactive module. The research product was at very valid criterion with mean value 88,44% covering content validation aspect, presentation, graphical, and linguistic. The research product was at very practical criteria by educators with an average score of 90.77% which includes aspects of ease of use, efficiency of learning time, and benefits. The research product was also in very practical criteria by learners with an average value of 90.33% which includes aspects of ease of use of the menu, ease of use guidance, the use of multimedia, and motivation learners

Abstract

One of the factors causing the low achievement of Physics competence of learners is the completeness of the teaching materials used such as LKPD is not adequate. One of the learning models that can be done to improve the competence of learners is Problem Based Learning. This study was conducted to determine the effect of using LKPD based on the mind map of problem based learning on the achievement of the competence of physics students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Padang.This type of research is quasi experimental (Quasi Experimental Research) with research design The Randomized Postest - only Control Group Design, using Matched Subjects. The study population is all students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Padang registered in the academic year 2016-2017, which is 7 classes of academic year 2016/2017. The sample of research was taken with Purposive Sampling technique. The research data consisted of attitude, knowledge and skill competency data, which instrument was used are observation sheets, a written test and performance assesment rubric. The three competencies was analyzed by using t- test at real level of 0,05. Knowledge and skill competence also analyzed by simple linear regression test, and correlation test at significant level 5 %. Research data is the value of learning outcomes of learners attitude competence, knowledge and skills and the value of LKPD based mind mapping. The research instrument is an observation sheet for measuring the attitude competence, the final test to measure knowledge competence and performance rating sheet to measure the competency of the skill. Research data were analyzed by two-equation equality test and regression test and correlation. The two-point equality test was performed for all competencies in both sample classes. Regression and correlation test is performed for knowledge competence and skill competence in experiment class and LKPD value based on mind map. Through correlation test obtained significance level of relationship that is, the first value with the value LKPD knowledge competency-based mind map is a powerful, with a percentage contribution LKPD mind map based on the achievement of physical competence of learners by 29.5% and the remaining 70.5% is influenced by other variables . LKPD based on mind map also has a significant influence on the competence of students' skills

Abstract

This research is motivated that the teaching materials used can not activate the students. The teaching materials used are printed materials containing materials, sample questions and evaluation. These teaching materials make learners memorize the formula instead of mastering the concept. This study aims to produce products such as CSP and LKPD oriented guided inquiry on a matter of momentum and impulse in Physics valid, practical, and effective. This research is a research development (research anddevelopment) using 4D development model. The model consists of four phases: define (definition), stage design (design), develop phase (development), and disseminate stage (dissemination). However, this study is only done until the stage of development (development). The data of the research are analyzed by qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the research that has been done, the product produced in the form of RPP and LKPD oriented guided inquiry. Product research is categorized as very valid aspects and LKPD completeness RPP, RPP eligibility and LKPD contents, use of language and LKPD RPP, and kegrafisan LKPD using guided inquiry learning model component with an average value of 93.4 to 93.7 for the RPP and LKPD. Products are categorized very practical research by teachers with an average value of 88.4 to 86.9 for the RPP and LKPD, as well as practical by learners with an average value of 82.9. Product research is also effective in improving learners' test results based on comparative testing correlates with the acquisition t_hitung = -14.74 and T_ (table) = 1.7, so t calculate <t table (table), which means that this LKPD effective for use in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the large influence of the use of printed non-printed teaching materials character using scientific approach to the achievement of student competence is limited to mechanical wave material in SMA N 3 Padang. The type of research used is pre-experimental designs with One-Group Pretest-posttest Design research. In this research, experiments conducted by without controlling for influencing variables are treatment alone without any control group. The result of data analysis shows that in the comptence attitude, the average value obtained by students has increased every meeting. On knowledge competence got value y = 0,49x + (- 50,37), value r = 0,83, and value of KD = 68,94%. In skill competence obtained value y = 0,52x + 44,98, value r = 0,50, and value of KD = 25,14%. The working hypothesis which reads "there is influence which means the use of printed non-print teaching materials using a saintifik approach to student competence on mechanical wave material of class XI SMAN 3 Padang" is quantitatively acceptable at the real level of 0,05. Thus, the use of printed non-printed teaching materials using characteristic scientific approaches to student competence

Abstract

Achievement of the competence of learners on the subjects of physics showed less than optimal results because the learning model and teaching materials have not demanded the active role of learners in finding the concept. Physics learning requires instructional materials based on learning models that can increase the interaction of learners in a concept invention. The teaching materials in question are Student Work Sheets based on the Discovery Learning model. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of Student Work Sheets based on Discovery Learning model on the material of rotation of rigid bodies and fluids objects to the achievement of physics competence of students of class XI SMAN 15 Padang. This type of research is Quasi Experiment Research with Randomized Control Group Design Only Design. The population of the study were students of class XI SMAN 15 Padang registered in the academic year 2016/2017 with the sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The experimental class is XI IPA 1 using Student Work Sheets based on Discovery Learning model and control class is XI IPA 5 using Student Work Sheets in the school. Assessment instruments used in attitudinal aspects through the assessment of observation, knowledge through written tests, and skills through performance appraisal. Research data were analyzed by two equality test equation using t test statistic and regression test and correlation to know the relation between independent variable and control variable. The mean value of the experimental class attitude aspect is 82,11 and the control class is 72,45. The average value of the experimental class knowledge aspect is 80,12 and the control class is 72,34. The average value of experimental class skill aspect is 79,21 and the control class is 66,33. The result of t test for attitude aspect is 3,1569, knowledge is 2,5605, and skill is 6,4236 show t count is outside acceptance area of Ho. It shows that the difference of mean value between the two sample classes has significance at the real level of 0,0500 with the value of t count > t table. Based on the regression and correlation test, the effect of Student Work Sheets based on the Discovery Learning model on the knowledge aspect is 21,19 %. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the use of Student Work Sheets based on the model of Discovery Learning toward the achievement of physics competence of students of class XI SMAN 15 Padang

Abstract

The low competence of students in the physics caused by difficult students in understanding the concepts of physics, materials used have not made use of the media as well as active students have not varied.One of the solutions given Student Work Sheets (LKS) assisted media power point which features animation. The purpose research is to investigate the differences and relationship of the use of assisted LKS media power point which features animated models direct insruction with achievement of competence of students of class X SMAN 5 Bukittinggi. The type of research used in this study was quasi experimental research studies randomized control group only design. The population of the entire research grade X IPA are registered on an even semester academic year 2016/2017 sampling and cluster random sampling technique. Research data includes two competencies, knowledge and competency competency skills as well as values is LKS. Instrument data in the form of a final test for competence of knowledge and competence for performance pieces of skill. Data obtained from the instrument are analyzed in the form of a test of similarity of two average, regression test and correlation value is LKS in class experiments. The results of the analysis show the average value on competence of the knowledge experimental class higher than the class of the control knowledge competencies. Calculation of test equality of two average in competence of the knowledge obtained t'h = 3.10 is greater than t`t = 2.03, so the working hypothesis accepted. Through regression analysis and correlation obtained the relationship between the value of knowledge and competence is LKS as a strong student, with percentage contributions to 74.62% is LKS on the real extent of 0.05 so that research can be concluded there is a difference in meaning is LKS as media-assisted use of power point animation that comes in models for direct instruction against the competence of physics students of class X SMAN 5 Bukittinggi
