Abstract

Learning resources used by educators in schools in the process of physics learning is still not capable of making learners become more active and independent in the learning process. Learning resources used were still in the form of regular print books and not interactive so that learning will be monotonous, learners less motivated and lazy to do the task given. The solution to this problem was to use an interactive module that has been designed. This research aimed to produce integrated interactive module guided inquiry using course lab application for business material, energy, momentum and impulse at Class X high school physics learning which is valid and practical. This research was a research development using R & D model Sugiyono. This model consiststed of 10 stages, but the research is only up to seven stages: knowing potentials and problems, gathering information, designing products, validating designs, revising designs, testing products, and revising products. Research subjects in this research are 3 validators to know the value of product validity, 2 educators, and learners in a class X SMA 6 Kerinci to know the practical value of the product. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. Based on the research which had been done, the product was produced in the form of interactive module. The research product was at very valid criterion with mean value 88,44% covering content validation aspect, presentation, graphical, and linguistic. The research product was at very practical criteria by educators with an average score of 90.77% which includes aspects of ease of use, efficiency of learning time, and benefits. The research product was also in very practical criteria by learners with an average value of 90.33% which includes aspects of ease of use of the menu, ease of use guidance, the use of multimedia, and motivation learners

Abstract

This research originated from the fact that learning in school is still not involve students learn actively, learning that takes place is still centered on the teacher, the use of teaching materials that do not attract resulting in low yields physics learning and critical thinking skills of learners. This research aims to investigate the influence of handout of physics interactive multimedia based discovery learning aided games to the critical thinking skills of students grade X SMAN 3 Padang. The hypothesis of this research is there are a meaningful impact handout of physics interactive multimedia based discovery learning aided games to the critical thinking skills of students grade X SMAN 3 Padang.To achieve the goal of the research conducted quasi-experimental research design with randomized control group only design. The research population was all students of class X SMAN 3 Padang enrolled in the academic year 2016/2017 and sampling using purposive sampling and class X chosen as an experimental class X MIA 1 and  class X MIA 2 as the control class. The research instrument in the aspect of knowledge is the achievement test.Based on the analysis of data obtained the product moment correlation analysis shows that the interactive multimedia teaching materials physics game aided contributing to critical thinking skills of students by 28%. The conclusion from this research is there a meaningful impact handout of physics interactive multimedia based discovery learning aided games to the critical thinking skills of students grade X SMAN 3 Padang

Abstract

Physics learning outcomes of Senior High School in Padang is not optimum. It caused by student worksheet which use student was not support to reach optimum learning outcomes. For this reason student worksheet that support optimally learning outcomes must be develop. A research was doing to investigate influence the student worksheet which be equipped by comprehensive intelligence in Problem Based Learning to physics learning outcomes for grade X in Senior High School 3 Padang must be done. Population of Quasi Experiment Research with randomized control group only design was student for grade X MIA in Senior High School 3 Padang registered on 2015/2016. Technique sampling this research was purposive sampling. Instrument research was objective test sheet for cognitive, observation sheet for spiritual and social attitude and performance rubric for psychomotor. That result of research showed that the mean score of the experiment class is high than control class. Analysis of data that worksheet which be equipped by comprehensive intelligence in problem based learning was influence significantly to physics learning outcomes for grade X in Senior High School 3 Padang

Abstract

Education in the 21st century is intended to create people who have the knowledge and skills to survive in the globalization era. Integrated science teaching in the 2013 curriculum should be implemented in an integrated form, including Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. Integration in science teaching is intended to make teaching more meaningful, practical, and realistic, so that it can improve the learning outcomes of students. However, the implementation of integrated science teaching was not in accordance with the expected condition. The solution to the problem was to use integrated science teaching material with scientific literacy. The objective of the research was to investigate the effect of the use of the integrated science teaching material with scientific literacy on the theme of the use of pressure in the scientific approach to the learning outcomes of class VIII SMPN 31 Padang. This type of research was a quasi-experimental research with a before and after design. The research population was all class VIII students of SMPN 31 Padang in academic Year 2018/2019. By using a purposive sampling technique, it was obtained class VIII 5 students as the research sample. The research instrument consisted of a multiple choice written test sheet to assess knowledge, a performance assessment sheet for assessing skills, and an observation sheet to assess attitudes of students. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, and paired comparison test. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be stated that the use of Integrated science teaching material with scientific literacy has a significant difference in learning outcomes of students between before and after they used it on the theme of the use of pressure in class VIII of SMPN 31 Padang. This difference in learning outcomes indicated that the use of integrated science teaching material with scientific literacy on the theme of the use of pressure has a significant effect on the three aspects of learning outcomes of students, including knowledge in scientific contexts and scientific concepts of literacy, scientific processes of literacy, and attitude of students.

Abstract

Curriculum 2013 has four core competencies to be achieved consisting of spiritual competence, social attitude competence, knowledge competence, and skill competence. But in reality it is not as expected. One factor is the lack of use of learning resources that can improve the competence of studens in accordance with the demands of the curriculum 2013. This study aims to design a product in the form of learning materials that contain content of emotional intelligence values on Physics materials about addition vectors and linear motion. The type of research is research and development (R & D). In this study there are 10 steps, namely potential and problems, data collection, design, product testing, design revision, trial usage, product revision, mass product. However, in this study only done until the third stage, the product design is doing research to make the product design but not followed by making and testing the product. The results of this study based on the analysis that has been done is a descriptive product of physics learning materials that are charged emotional intelligence values based on the meaning of materials and concepts of Physics on the topic of vector and linear motion for the imple- mentation of curriculum 2013 on the learning of class X / SMA / MA students.

Abstract

One of the factors that cause low learning outcomes of learners is the low ability of learners in solving physics problems. This problem solving ability can be improved through learning using LKPD of physics by orient problem-solving strategy toward the achievement of the competence of students of Class X SMAN 1 Lubuk Alung. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of LKPD physics-oriented problem-solving strategies to the achievement of competence learners.The type of research conducted is quasi experiment with randomized control group design postest only design. The study population included all MIA class X students enrolled in the even semester of the academic year 2016/2017. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. Research data is the value of competence knowledge, attitude and skills of learners. The research instrument is the final test to measure the knowledge competence, the observation sheet to measure the attitude competency, the performance appraisal sheet to measure the competency of the skill. The research data were analyzed by two-equation equality test. Two average equality tests were performed for the learning result value of each competency of the two sample classes.Based on the data analysis, the average score for the experimental class and control class are 83,47 and 78,16, the attitude competence is 87,04 and 79,8 and the skills competence is 88,7 and 83 , 3. Data for the knowledge, attitude and skill competencies of the two sample classes are normally distributed and have homogeneous variance, so that the two equality tests are tested with t test. From the calculation results obtained t count value for knowledge competence that is 2.773 and t table = 2,00; On attitude competence obtained t arithmetic that is 7,1911 and t table = 2,00; And on skill competence t obtained is 4.189 and t table = 2,00. In the three competencies are obtained t arithmetic> t table, means t count is outside the acceptance area Ho, so Hi accepted. Thus, the conclusion of this research is there is a significant influence from the application of LKPD of physics by orient problem-solving strategy toward the achievement of the competence of students of Class X SMAN 1 Lubuk Alung accepted

Abstract

The low physics learning outcomes of students in SMA N 13 Padang because students who have not mastered the concept. The cause is rarely student practicum and worksheets are used not lead students to think creatively and independently, so it need worksheets that can lead students to think creatively and independently. One type of worksheets that can be used to overcome these problems is worksheets based Project Based Learning. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the effect of worksheets based Project Based Learning on learning outcomes physics class X SMA N 13 Padang on the competence of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. This research is a Quasi-Experimental Researc with design Randomized Control Only Group Design. The population in this research were all students in the tenth grade at SMA N 13 Padang enrolled in the academic year 2014/2015.  Sampling was determined through purposive sampling technique. The instrument in this research is the ultimate test for competency knowledge, attitudes observation sheet for competence, and performance assessment sheets for competency skills. Data were analyzed by using test the equality of two average. The results shows that the competence of knowledge, the average value of the final test experimental class is 77.03 while the control class 66.09. On the attitude of competence, the average value of the experiment showed a very good grade while good control class. On competency skills, the average value of the experimental class is 85.56 while the control class 81.28. Therefore, the working hypothesis which states that "there is significant influence implementation of worksheets based Project Based Learning on learning outcomes physics class X SMA N 13 Padang on the competence of knowledge, attitudes, and skills" can be accepted at the 0.05 significance level. Thus worksheets based Project Based Learning can improve physics learning outcomes of students in competency knowledge, attitudes, and skills

Abstract

Learning science by 2013’s curriculum one of them is using inquiry learning model that comes with the use of teaching materials such as students worksheet in accordance with the syntax of the learning model. Students Worksheet that exist in schools does not yet support teacher learning model chosen optimally, because whatever the chosen learning model teacher the book remains is same. Therefore conducted a study to investigate the effect of guided inquiry-oriented students worksheet towards science competency of VII’s class SMPN 2 Bukittinggi on inquiry learning model with guided inquiry method. The research is a quasi-experimental design with posttest only control design on two groups of randomly selected classes. The population in this study is all of VII’s classes SMPN 2 Bukittinggi enrolled in the academic year 2014/2015. Sampling using cluster random sampling. Samples are VII.4’s class as an experimental class and control class is VII.5’s class. Data collection techniques for competency attitude using non-test techniques, using technical knowledge competency test, and competence skills in using non-test techniques. Analysis of the data is done by testing the equality of two average. IPA competence students experimental class average rating is better than the control class. The average value of competence attitudes, knowledge, and skills in sequence for the experimental class 82.20; 83.46; and 78.90 and 77.10 for the control class; 78.70; and 71.90. After testing the equality of two average there are significant differences between the experimental class with a third control class in the realm of competence. It can be concluded that the use of guided inquiry-oriented students worksheet have an influence on the science competency of class VII SMPN 2 Bukittinggi on the real level of 0.05

Abstract

Characteristics of learning in high school physics material contain the needs of learners to think critically. The reality in the field showed Padang 8 senior high school exercise of learning physics is already using the materials, but not yet apply critical thinking ability of studensts. One of the solutions can be taken by develope  learning materials which there learning model with increase critical thinking ability. This research has purrpose  to produce learning materials improved critical thinking ability in material measurement and a decent vector with validity and practicalities. This includes research was conducted type of Research and development (R&D). Type of this research was a research and development by Sugiyono’s model. Data analysis techniques used, namely the analysis of the validity of the product and the analysis of the responses of teachers and students towards products. The resulting research products are on a very valid criteria with an average value of 88.58% and the response of teachers and students towards products that generated very good.

Abstract

The science learning in curiculum, 2013, developed as integrative science. Wherever integrated by physic, biology, and chemistry subject. The real conditions in school that the integrated sciences subject is low. One solution can be done is to apply the integrated science text book sequenced model wich theme adaptation system of human body at temperature. The purpose of study is to investigate the influence of thect booj sequenced Model. Theme adaptation system of human body at temperature toward learning outcomes of students in SMPN 8 Padang.The type of this strudy is Quasi experiment with design Rendomize control-Group design. The population of this study are all of students grade VII in SMPN 8 Padang listed in the school on 2017/2018. Sampling of this study is purposive sampling, the sample in this study are grad VII A as experiment class and grade VIIB as control class all total 64 students. The instrument of study are asheet of learning out comes to assess the aspect of knowledge and asheet of performance to assess the aspect of skill. The data of this study were analysed by using analysist descriptive, hypotesis test, simple linear regression and correlation test.  On the level of real on 0,05 for both aspect. The result of study has be gotten the data knowledge and skills. Result of data analysist that the Text book integrated science subject sequenced model theme adaptation system of human body at temperature give a meaningful effect on learning outcomes onknowladge aspect and skill aspect grad VII on the level of trust 95% the effect of outcomes Skill  student is 17% and 72% affected by other factor.
