Abstract

In the implementationeof physics learningi, students have difficulty in analyzing and connecting physics concepts in daily life, student worksheets or LKPD in Indonesia, which are made by teachers are taken from textbooks in schools, and the use of media in learning physics has not been implemented well. This studysaims to produce a product in the form of interactive multimedia based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) using a course lab application on work, energy, momentum, and impulse chapter valid. This research focuses on making a product in teaching materials in the form of interactive multimedia LKPD in accordance with the steps of LKPD according to the Ministry of National Education (2008). The instrument used in this study was the validity test. This validity was assessed by four validators: three physics lecturers from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and one physics teacher. Based on the research, a product of interactive multimedia LKPD based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) using a course lab application on work, energy, momentum, and impulse chapter that was made with steps for preparing worksheets based on the Ministry of National Education in 2008 had been produced. This product are tested to find its validity with the average value of validity are 87% and 92,78% sequentially in the very valid category.

Abstract

In learning the teacher still uses teaching materials that have not been able to train students to understand the concepts of physics, so understanding the concepts students have is still low. The use of Concept Attainment-oriented LKS is expected to be able to train students in understanding the concept of learning. So that the demands of the 2013 curriculum are reached, which requires students to play an active role in learning. This type of research is quasi-experimental research with the design of the Ramdomized Control Group Only Design without pretest. The population of this study was students of class X MIPA SMAN 2 Solok Selatan who were enrolled in the 2018/2019 Academic Year totaling 48 people. Sampling in this study using Cluster Random Sampling technique. The research instrument used was a written test essay instrument. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, two similarity tests on average, normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing to determine the influence of research variables on the level of conceptual understanding. Based on the research carried out, it can be stated that the results of the study are the use of LKS with Concept Attainment in the material of momentum, impulses, and harmonious vibrations that give a significant difference to the understanding of students' concepts at the 5% level of error in class X MIPA SMAN 2 Solok Selatan. The use of Concept oriented LKS Attainment of momentum material, harmonious impulses and vibrations can improve students' understanding of concepts in school.

Abstract

This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The population data in this study were all physics textbooks for class XII high school students used by 17 schools in West Sumatra. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was the most high school physics class XII semester 1 textbook used by schools published by four different publishers. The data in this study were taken using textbook presentation instrument analysis and data collection techniques through documentation studies.The results showed that the level of CTL feasibility in class XII semester 1 physics textbooks published by book A was 69.58% with the appropriate category, then the CTL grade performance in class XII semester 1 physics textbooks published by book B was 82 , 77% with a very appropriate category, then the level of CTL implementation in physics textbooks for class XII semester 1 published by book C was 58.13% which was categorized quite appropriate, and for the level of CTL implementation in physics textbooks in class XII semester 1 published by book D is 90.68% which is categorized very accordingly. The results of the study can be used as a needs analysis in developing research on the presentation of physics textbooks in implementing CTL

Abstract

The book acts as a source of independent learning, if learning is designed in full. Textbooks are said to be good, one of them is by fulfilling the components of the contextual approach as recommended in the 2013 curriculum. Contextual teaching books connect theories, phenomena and problems encountered so students can implement theories, concepts and principles that have been learned with everyday life. The purpose of this study was to find out whether the presentation of physics textbooks for Class XI High School 1 Semester 1 had facilitated the implementation of a contextual approach in high school. The type of research used is descriptive research and the approach used is a qualitative approach. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The research instrument used in this study was a statement sheet in the form of statements according. The data analysis technique used is the content analysis technique and processed with percentages. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the results of this study were presented in the fourth analysis of physics books in class XI in the first semester which facilitated the implementation of the contextual approach. The book that has been very facilitating and suitable for use by the school is Yrama Widya's book. The Yrama Widya book has the highest and stable value in each component of the CTL assessment with an average value of 82.3%. Whereas the book with the lowest score is Tiga Serangkai with an average value of 64.7% which is categorized as facilitating. Whereas from the CTL assessment component, the four books generally have the highest value on the modeling component and the lowest in reflection.

Abstract

Entering the 21st century one component of basic literacy is information literacy. At this time with various facilities and availability of facilities, and various demands that require everyone to be capable and sophisticated with information. The global era with many phenomena of information requires the ability to be able to access the information wisely. Literacy is more than just reading and writing, but includes thinking skills using knowledge sources in printed, visual, digital and auditory books. In this 21st century, this ability is called information of literacy. One of the supporting facilities that support the information in learning is teaching materials. However, teaching materials that are often used by students are printed books. In this digital era, it is very easy for us to access and use the process of non-printed teaching materials (e-books). It can also be used as textbooks that support students to increase information literacy. Therefore non-printed teaching materials (e-books) should contain information literacy to support learning. The purpose of this research is to obtain information about the scope of information literacy which are includes media literacy, technology literacy and visual literacy in e-books in circulation. This research uses descriptive research method. The research population was all material in the odd semester High School Physics e-books analyzed. The population in this research was taken all the material to be sampled. The instrument used as an observation sheet is an observation sheet containing information literacy indicators. From the five e-books analyzed based on aspect of information literacy, was obtained the results of the average suitability obtained for each e-book that is in e-book 1 has a value of 46% with a less good category.  In e-book 2 has a value of 71% with a good category. In e-book 3, it has a value of 54% with a less good category.  In e-book 4, it has a value of 48% with a less good category.  Finally in e-book 5 it has a value of 61 with a less good category.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum can be seen as a solution to answer the challenges of the 21st century. The Indonesian government has supported to improve student learning outcomes by encouraging 4C skills in schools and integrated science teaching in Junior High School. But the real conditions in the school indicated that the integration of science learning material was still relatively low with an average value of 63.07. In addition, the skills which used were still limited to the science process skills. The average value of student learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect was 40.91 and this average value can be classified into a low category. The solution to this problem was to apply the integrated science student worksheet by integrating the 4C learning skills of our respiratory and excretory theme integrated science teaching. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of integrated science student worksheet by integrating 4C learning skills on the our respiratory and excretory theme on the learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMP 7 Padang. This type of research was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group with only post test design. The population of this research was all VIII grade students of SMP 7 Padang. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The research instrument consisted of an observation sheet for attitude aspect, written test for knowledge aspect, and performance assessment sheet for skills aspect. The research data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and comparison of two means test. The result of the hypothesis test indicated that there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who use integrated science student worksheet and students who didn’t use it. This means that integrated science student worksheet has given a significant effect on learning outcomes consisting of knowledge, skills, and attitudes of grade VIII students of SMPN 7 Padang at a 95% confidence level. Thus, integrated science student worksheet by integrating the 4C learning skills can be used by science teachers and students in science teaching.

Abstract

21 st abad memerlukan setiap manusia untuk dapat memperbarui terbaru untuk kecanggihan teknologi dan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). PADA 21 st Abad, Sumber Daya Manusia Yang kompeten diperlukan. Pemerintah Indonesia menciptakan kurikulum 2013 untuk menjawab resolusi 21 st pendidikan abad. Selain itu, pemerintah juga mengintegrasikan literasi ke dalam pembelajaran. Kondisi nyata di sekolah menengah atas menunjukkan literasi siswa masih terbatas dan belum diterapkan dengan baik. Solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah mengembangkan lembar kerja siswa dengan literasi ilmiah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja siswa literasi dan menentukan nilai validitas lembar kerja siswa dengan literasi. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Litbang). Objek penelitian adalah lembar kerja siswa dengan literasi sains pada materi dan pengukuran dengan vektor. Instrumen untuk memvalidasi materi pembelajaran ini adalah lembar kuesioner. Instrumen untuk mengevaluasi validitas terdiri dari empat komponen, yaitu konten yang puas, presentasi, bahasa, dan grafik. The validator untuk review menilai validitas huruf literasi Beroperasi Fisik terdiri Dari Tiga dosen fisika. Teknik analisis data adalah statistik deskriptif.     Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai rata-rata lembar kerja siswa dengan validasi literasi ilmiah untuk komponen empat lembar kerja fisik adalah 85,03. Dengan demikian, nilai rata-rata validasi literasi ilmiah lembar kerja siswa dapat diverifikasi dalam kategori sangat baik

Abstract

Based on the results of observations at SMAN 1 Bukittinggi obtained low student learning outcomes. One of the causes of low student grades is indicated because students are less able to represent knowledge from one form to another, for example into a chart / table / diagram / picture form. Low learning outcomes also show that the lack of physics teaching materials that can connect learning with various contexts that exist around students. The purpose of this study is to produce integrated contextual teaching materials for multi-representation strategies that are worth seeing from the validation of experts and practicality.This type of research is the Research and Development (R&D) model of Sugiyono. The validation test was conducted by three lecturers of Physics FMIPA UNP. The practicality test was conducted by two practitioners / teachers who taught at SMAN 1 Bukittinggi and 34 students of class X. Based on data analysis conducted and obtained input on improving teaching materials, obtained teaching materials that were valid and practical were in accordance with the eligibility criteria of validity and practicality.

Abstract

The research objective is to produce an interactive module using a valid course application based on a scientific approach. This is based on the reality of the field in SMAN 1 Batusangkar, seen that in learning more students accept and copy what is delivered by the teacher due to the method used in learning that is the lecture method that focuses on teacher learning (teacher centered). During the learning process not yet seen all the components of the scientific approach implemented by students due to lack of teaching materials or modules. This research is a mixed-method research which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. This study aims to determine the validity of an interactive module product in accordance with the steps of making teaching materials in the form of modules according to the Ministry of National Education (2008) such as: 1) main display / cover, 2) display of learning instructions, 3) display of competencies to be achieved, 4 ) content of the material, 5) supporting information, 6) Exercises, 7) Student worksheets, and 8) Evaluation. Based on the research that has been done, two research results are obtained. First, this research produces a product in the form of an interactive module using the Course Lab application based on a scientific approach to business material, energy, and momentum. And the results of the second study were the results of the validity test conducted by three UNP Physics lecturers and one physics teacher at SMA 1 Batusangkar with 89.4 validity results with very valid validity criteria. So it can be concluded that the interactive module using the Course Lab application based on a scientific approach to the material business, energy, and momentum is very valid and can be used to test the practicality and effectiveness by subsequent researchers.

Abstract

      The 21st century education is expected to create quality human resources and be able to compete in the face of 21st century forecasts. In physics subjects, logical thinking and systematic skills can be developed to equip students to face challenges in an increasingly competitive society. Governments have made various efforts to improve the quality of education. One of them is to apply literacy in learning. However, real conditions at school show that physical learning has not run optimally where literacy is used in learning only functional literation. One solution that can be used to solve this problem is to develop teaching materials with scientific literation. The purpose of this study is to determine the validity of the materials of scientific literacy-charged physics. This type of research is research and development (R & D). The research object is a physics-teaching material charged with the cyanotic literacy of optical tools and global warming for grade XI senior high school. The instrument to validate the teaching material is a questionnaire sheet. It consists of 3 validators, a physics lecturer. Data analysis techniques are descriptive statistics. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the average validation value of a physics-led scientific literacy material on the optical tools and global warming is 90.91. Accordingly, physics teaching materials are filled with literacy in materials of optical devices and global warming depending on the very high level of validity.
