Abstract

Pendidikan memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan dan memaksimalkan semua potensi yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, di mana salah satunya adalah perubahan kurikulum 2013 yang direvisi menjadi kurikulum 2017. Selain itu, revisi 2013 menjadi kurikulum 2017 berisi beberapa hal penting, salah satunya adalah peningkatan literasi siswa dalam belajar. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan, keadaan sekolah menunjukkan bahwa penerapan literasi sains dalam pembelajaran fisika belum pada keadaan optimal, literasi yang digunakan hanyalah literasi fungsional. Salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah mengembangkan modul fisika dengan literasi ilmiah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui validitas modul fisika yang mengandung literasi ilmiah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D). Selanjutnya, prosedur penelitian ini terdiri dari masalah potensial, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba aplikasi produk ,, dan produk massal. Penelitian ini terbatas pada tahap validasi desain dan revisi desain. Objek penelitian adalah modul fisika dengan literasi ilmiah dalam materi Gerak Lurus dan Parabola Kelas X SMA / MA. Oleh karena itu, instrumen untuk validasi modul fisika adalah lembar angket. Validator bahan ajar fisika yang mengandung literasi ilmiah adalah 3 dosen fisika FMIPA UNP. Berdasarkan analisis data dari penelitian, Modul fisika yang mengandung literasi ilmiah dalam materi gerak sangat valid dengan nilai validitas rata-rata 86,02. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul fisika sarat dengan literasi saintifik pada materi gerak lurus dan gerak parabola di kelas X SMA / MA yang telah dibuat ini cocok untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika karena memenuhi kelayakan dasar pada hasil validasi para ahli.

Abstract

The 21st century skills in the 4.0 revolution era demanded that students have new literacy and disaster literacy abilities. The solution to overcome these problems is to develop physics teaching materials that integrate new literacy and disasters. The purpose of this study is validity and practicality of the use of teaching materials integrating new literacy and disaster. Step of Research & Development (R&D) conducted until the product limited trial for the students in XI Senior High School. The data obtained in this study are the validation of the physics lecturer at the faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNP and the practicality of student in XI grade SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The instruments used are validation and practicality test sheets. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of validity and practicality analysis. The results of the study showed that validity of teaching materials integrating new literacy and disaster very well with a value of 86. 17. The second result shows that teaching material has an excellent practicality of 88. 96. So, it can be concluded that the physics teaching material is heat material and kinetic theory of gas integrating new literacy and diseaster is valid and practical use for students of class XI Senior High School.

Abstract

Learning outcomes in students Physics subjects are not as expected, due to students' mastery of Physics material is still lacking. Besides that the learning model used is still not varied and teaching materials are not yet fully used. Therefore, researchers used a Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model supported by a textbook. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of textbooks containing comprehensive intelligence Model Problem Based Learning on Parabolic and Circular Motion material in class X of SMAN 8 Padang.This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with pre-expertal design. The study population was all students of class X MIPA SMAN 8 Padang who were registered in 2019/2020. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was class X MIPA 3 as an experimental class and class X MIPA 5 as a control class. Research data are only knowledge competencies. The research instrument was in the form of pre-test and post-test questions to measure knowledge competence. The data obtained were analyzed using the two average similarity test (t test), simple linear regression test, and correlation test at the 0.05 level for knowledge competence.From the analysis of the data it can be concluded that the use of textbooks with comprehensive intelligence gives a significant difference to the knowledge competence of students at the real level of 0.05.

Abstract

Student’s compalincy in physic’s material on the senior hight school is not One factor that causes low student competency is the low understanding of students in understanding physics learning material. One solution that will support the achievement of all student physics competencies both from knowledge competencies, religious attitudes, social attitudes, and skills is the use of handouts. The handout designed in this study aims to investigate the effect of using handouts on Newton's legal material with a comprehensive intelligence on the generative learning model on the competency achievement of class X students at SMAN 5 Padang. Type of research is a quasi experimental research with Randomized Control Group Only Design. The research population was all students of grade X students of SMAN 5 Padang who were enrolled in the Academic Year 2017/2018. Sampling technigue was pourposive sampling with class X MIA 3 as the experimental class and class X MIA 4 as the control class. The research instruments were in the form of learning outcomes tests for knowledge competencies, attitude observation sheets and skills competency performance assessment sheets. The data analysis technique uses comparism mean test, a simple linear regression test, and a correlation test at the 0.05 significance level for knowledge competence, while for competency attitudes and skills using graphics.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 requires humans to possess 21st century skills. The 21st century education requires skills to develop superior knowledge, skills, attitude and values, which fully support it with literacy. Student literacy will be able to help the learning process, so students can apply learning material to the facts that are around it. One of literacy to answer the defiance of this era is the new literacy. New literacy consist data literacy, technology and human data. The reality at school was not as expected, the learning resources used by students weren’t entirely in accordance with the new literacy. Solution to solve problem was physics module integrated new literacy. The purpose of this reserch is to determine the validity and practicality use of physics modules. The type of research carried out includes the type of Research and Development (R&D). The object of this research was a physics module that integrates new literacy which is tried to be limited to one of the XI classes of SMA Pembangunan Lab UNP. The data analysis technique used was a descriptive analysis of the validity of the product and the practicality of the product. Based on data analysis from the research that has been done, it can be stated two results of this research, : First, validation of  a physics module can be classified in to very good categoy with a average value 86.2.  Second, practcality of the use physics module integrates new literacy by the teacher was  91.7 and practicality by student was 85.3 according to the category of practice very good.

Abstract

Learning based on curriculum 2013 is still not applied by teachers and teachers has not yet varied the learning model used so as to impact on low learning outcomes. The study aims to determine how the implementation of the Learning Inquiry Model is assisted by the Pictorial method of Riddle with the learning outcomes of students ' physics. This type of research is a pseudo-experimental study with the design of Posttest Only Control Group Design. A knowledge aspect assessment instrument in the form of posttest and skill aspect. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical techniques. Testing homogeneity obtained by the results that both classes have the value of GIS homogeneity to the results of learning teaching Inkuiri assisted by Pictorial method Riddle of 0.422 with significance value 0.05. So the distributed research data is normal. The hypothesis test results were obtained a probability value of 0.000 so that H0 was rejected and H1 received study of the students ' arch motion in an experimental class using the learning Inquisitors guided by the aid of a higher riddle pictorial method Compared to the control class that uses the inquiry learning model is guided. The average grade of an experiment class is 80.17 and the average value of the control class is 75.57. It can therefore be concluded that there is a significant influence on the application of learning model of the Inquisies guided by a method of pictorial riddle towards the improvement of physics competence of grade X students at SMAN 1 Sutera.

Abstract

In improving the quality of life in this 21st century era, one of the areas that is highly considered is education. There are three aspects that become the demands of the education sector today, namely character, competence, and literacy. in the competency section there is a skill called the 4C skill. 4C skills consist of communication skills, critical thinking skills, collaboration skills, and creativity skills. 4C skills must be possessed by students in the learning process. One means of applying 4C skills is through teaching materials, one of them is Student Worksheets. In this research, a worksheet based on problem solving with strategy formation of critical thinking on the dynamics of rotation and elasticity has been produced.       This is a R&D research, it is research and development that is based on Sugiyono theory in his book and there is a kind of test that is validity to the product. The result of validity tests from three validators based on six components are 85.56%, 77.08%, 81.82%, 83.3%, 85.0%, and 80.0% with the overall average are 82.13% it can be categorize as very valid.

Abstract

Human resources are required to have broad insights, think critically, and have literacy to deal with the development of 21st century education. The 2013 curriculum is designed to challenge 21st century education and is taught so that the mindset with mastery of student literacy increases. Literacy activities must be integrated in learning physics in the 2013 curriculum. However, the challenge in schools is that integration of student literacy was not good. One solution to solve this problem is to develop a new Literacy Physics worksheet. The purpose of this research was to determine the validity and practicality of the use of Physics Worksheet with new literacy. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D). The object of this research was the Physics Worksheet with new literacy. Data sources from this study were the results of preliminary studies, the results of the validation assessment, and the results of the practicality assessment. Data collection instruments in this result were observation sheets, validity test sheets, and practicality test sheets. The data analysis technique used is document analysis for preliminary studies and descriptive statistical analysis for product validation and clarity. Based on data analysis three research results can be presented. First, the preliminary study consisted of observations regarding the application of new literacy that were done in a low grade with an average value of 38.045, the results of the initial knowledge test of students at SMAN 5 Padang were low with an average value of 39.29 and the results of the work analysis in three mathematics textbooks Class XI high school students are classified as low with an average value of 32.78. Second, validity of Physics worksheet is very good with  average value 81.15. Third, practicality of Physics worksheets literacy of new according to teachers and students respectively is very good with average value of 85.5 and 86.79 respectively. Abstract

The results of the analysis of the documentation of physics learning outcomes of class X students in the city of Padang, showed that student learning outcomes on Newton's Law of Motion occupied the lowest value compared to other material. This shows that in the learning process students get various difficulties. This study aims to a) determine the tendency of students 'perceptions of physics learning on Newton's law material about motion, b) determine the quality of student learning outcomes on Newton's law material about motion, c) the contribution of students' perceptions of physics learning on Newton's law material about motion towards results student learning in the semester January-June 2019, and d) reveal various problems experienced by students in the physics learning process in terms of perception. This research belongs to the type of correlational descriptive research. The research sample was drawn using Stratified Random Sampling technique. The number of samples obtained was 60 students representing students with high, medium and less grades who came from 4 public high schools and 1 private high school. Research data on perceptions were obtained using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 60 items of statements and learning outcome data obtained through 24 items arranged based on 4 dimensions of knowledge and 6 levels of cognitive processes in the revised Bloom taxonomy. The research instrument used has fulfilled the feasibility through its validity and reliability test. Data processing is done through percentage techniques and Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis after fulfilling the test requirements for analysis, normality and linearity. The results showed that a) the students' average perception of learning physics in Newton's law material about motion was in the high category with a value of 2.74 from a maximum value of 4, b) student's physics learning outcomes in Newton's law material about motion in the low category with an average value of 48, c) there is a significant positive relationship between students' perceptions with their learning outcomes in Newton's law material about motion with a contribution of 61.3%, and d) revealed 10 factors that cause students difficulty in learning Newton's law material about motion according to students' perceptions.

Abstract

Student’s learning achievement in Physics lesson are not optimal because they are less involved in getting the concept of physics. Besides of that, models are used in learning is still not diverse and teaching materials are not yet fully used. Therefore, researchers use the Guided Inquiry learning model as an alternative to overcome boredom of students in PBM. This research is aimed to determine the effect of Guided Inquiry Learning Model Against the Achievement in 10th Grade Students of SMAN 8 Padang.This research is using a quasi-experimental design with a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The populations were students in MIPA 1 - MIPA 5 that were taught by the same teacher with the same teaching hours at SMAN 8 Padang and registered in 2019/2020. Researcher used purposive sampling technique. Knowledge and skills competencies were used as a data research. Instrument of this research a written test with multiple choice to measure knowledge competency and a performance assessment sheet to measure skills competency. The data were analyzed by two average similarity tests. The results showed the average value of Physics learning result for knowledge competence in the experimental class is 79.69 while the control class is 76.19. Meanwhile for the skills competence of experimental class is 83.05 and the control class is 77.83. The conclusion of the research is there is a significant influence from the use of the Guided Inquiry learning model towards the achievement of Physics competence in 10th grade students of SMAN 8 Padang.
