Abstract

The purpose of the research was to knowed the effectiveness of remediation by using Edupark Mifan Waterpark Padang Panjang book on work and energy in 1 2x11 Kayutanam grade X students at the Kayutanam I Government Secondary School. Using intact group method students from the class X IPA 3 academic year 2019/2020 was chosen to participate in the one group pretest-posttest experimental design. The instrument of the research was diagnostics test. The population of the research was all students of 1 2x11 Kayutanam Junior High School grade X while samples selected through intact group technique consisted of 27 students in grade X IPA 3. The results showed that the Edupark MiFan Waterpark Padang Panjang effective to remedial student misconception with the effectiveness categorized was medium as much as 0,34 of each student, as much as 0,31 of each concept. The average of student misconception reduction percentage was as much as 34,41% of each student and 30,81% of each concept. Application Edupark Mifan Waterpark Padang Panjang book effective to reduce student misconception. With the result that remediation using Edupark Mifan Waterpark Padang Panjang book can be use as an alternative to repaired student misconception on learning process.

Abstract

 Education is an effort to provide certain knowledge, insights, skills and expertise to individuals to develop their talents and abilities. Science (IPA) is a branch of science that has an important role in the education process, because it requires students to think and have a scientific attitude  that organized and systematic. But the achievement of learning outcomes in science subjects that are not optimal because students are less involved in getting the concept of learning science. Besides that the use of models used in learning is still not diverse and has not used the media fully. Therefore, researchers use the Inquiry learning model pictorial riddle type assisted by interactive learning media as an alternative in overcoming students' boredom in PBM. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Inquiry learning model Pictorial Riddle Type Assisted by Inactive Media on the Achievement of Competencies of Grade 8 Students of SMP N 31 Padang. The kind of this research is a quasi-experimental research design with a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The study population was all classes VIII 1 - VIII 5 taught by the same teacher with the same number of hours at SMP N 31 Padang registered in 2019/2020. The sampling technique that used in this research is purposive sampling. The research data used are student learning outcomes data for knowledge competence. The research instrument used was a written test to measure knowledge competence. The research data were analyzed by two average similarity tests. The results showed the average value of science learning outcomes for knowledge competence in the experimental class 72.41 and the control class 65.98. The conclusion of the research is the hypothesis which states that there is a significant influence of the use of the Inquiry learning model of pictorial riddle type assisted by interactive learning media on the achievement of science competencies of grade 8 students of SMP N 31 Padang..

Abstract

The 21st century requires a person to read and write more (literacy) in order to improve one’s skills in thinking and acting. Supporting facilities for integrating literacy in the physics learning process can be by making teaching materials. Teaching material made is teaching material with scientific literacy in heat material and kinetic theory of gas. The purpose of the research that has been done is to determine the validity of teaching materials with scientific literacy in heat material and kinetic theory of gas. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The object of his research is teaching material with scientific literacy. The data collection instrument used was a validation test sheet to determine product validity. Validation was carried out by three experts namely physics lecturers at Universitas Negeri Padang. The validation test sheet consists of four assessment components, namely the suitability content, the presentation component, the linguistic component and the graphic component. The results of research that have been done, obtained teaching materials with scientific literacy in the theory of heat and kinetic gas which is valid. This means that teaching material with scientific literacy in the heat and kinetic theory of gas is valid to use.

Abstract

Education in 21th century is the education with the learning system which used the environment as a medium of learning. The students are relating, experiencing, applying the phenomena that happen around the students. The students is cooperated in finding phenomenon and could transfer to another science. One of learning strategy that used is contextual learning and strengthening student environmental literacy. the purposed of the research is for validating and practicability of text book to be used. The type of this research is Research and Development. The object of research is integrated contextual learning-environmental literacy textbooks. The instrument of data collection is conducted by filling in the contextual learning questioner sheet, validating questioner sheet by physics lecturer, and practicality sheet by teacher and students. Based on data analysis, the results obtained that integrated contextual learning-environmental literacy textbooks which have validated by the experts has the average of 88 which is in the excellent category.  Then, the practicability test of the textbook according to the teachers has the average of 92.5 and according to the students are 84.

Abstract

This study aims to create a valid and practical CTL-charged module and environmental literacy used as a source of physics learning for high school class XI for kinetic theory and gas thermodynamics. The research objective is achieved by applying the development research model based on Sugiyono's design. Sugiyono's development design used consisted of seven stages of research. The validity test was conducted at the physics laboratory of UNP and the practicality test was conducted at SMAN 14 Padang. The instrument of validity was a questionnaire consisting of six aspects of assessment which were developed into 26 indicators and translated into 57 items of assessment. Practicality instruments for teachers and students contain four aspects of assessment consisting of 14 indicators and broken down into 37 points of assessment. The results of the validity test by three expert lecturers who gave an average value of 87.15 determined that the development module was valid with a very good level of validity. The results of practicality tests by teachers and students with an average value of 96.26 and 89.18. Based on the average value of practicality according to the teacher and student module development results can be said to be practical with a very good level of practicality. This shows that the module of practical development is used as a source of physics learning for class XI high school. Referring to the results of the validity and practicality tests that have been carried out it can be concluded that the resulting development module is suitable for use as a learning resource.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki tujuan untuk menghasilkan manusia dan karakter yang berkualitas. Namun, berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan di lapangan ternyata masih belum sesuai dengan harapan, ini diketahui dari hasil wawancara dan kuesioner. Siswa masih kesulitan dalam berbagai cara seperti minat, motivasi, belajar, keterampilan berpikir dan belajar awal. Pemikiran kritis menentukan posisi terendah di antara indikator-indikator ini, selain melakukan penilaian guru, ia juga tidak menggunakan penilaian yang sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013. Belajar siklus 5E dimana memperbaharui langkah-langkah membuat percakapan dengan O'Malley Penelitian ini termasuk jenis R&D yang terkandung dalam buku Sugiyono. Setelah validasi,nilai validasi adalah 87% dan itu dalam kategori sangat valid. Ini adalah contoh dalam pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

21st Century learning requires a variety of skills that must be mastered by students. This 21st Century requires students to have 4C skills, namely: critical thinking, creative, collaborative and communicative. In addition, the 21st Century requires students to have the ability to explain phenomena in everyday life. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and practicality of the physics module by integrating contextual learning and environmental literacy. The type of research was Research and Development (R&D). The object of this research was physics module integrate contextual learning and environmental literacy in a limited trial to one of the XI classes of SMAN 7 Padang. The data source of this research was experts who include Physics lecturers at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNP as validators, physics teachers at SMAN 7 Padang practitioners, with class XI MIA 3 students as physics module users. Data collection instruments used in the study were : validity sheets, practicality test sheets, data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis of product validity and product practicality. Based on data analysis from the research that has been done can be presented three research results. First, the validation of the physics module integrate contextual learning and environmental literacy with an average value of 85.12 which was excellent category. Second, the practical physics module integrates contextual learning and environmental literacy with an average value by teacher was 91.33 and practicality by students was 93.73 according to the category of practice very good.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the level of validity on the worksheet of students based on comic models guided discovery learning on business material, energy, momentum, and impulse for grade 10 high school or equivalent. The method used in this research is research and development using 4D developed by Thiagarajan. In this study will be determined until the development stage, so that only through 3 stages, namely define, design, and develop. The object used in this study is a worksheet of students based on comic models guided discovery learning on business material, energy, momentum, and impulse. Data obtained from this study were obtained from the validity test through the validity sheet. The validity sheet contains four components distributed by five validators. Data obtained from the validator were processed using the kappa moment equation (k), and the results obtained were 0.79, which was included in the high category. This shows that the worksheet of students based on comic models guided discovery learning on business material, energy, momentum, and impulse for grade 10 high school is valid.

Abstract

The learning process demanded by the 2013 curriculum is contextual learning and students are more active in finding non-teacher knowledge which is a source of knowledge. In reality, student learning outcomes are still low and do not involve contextual learning. The solution to this problem is to apply learning resources that emphasize students can learn independently and associate the environment in the learning process. This study aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes using CTL-based E-modules and CTL-based learning videos at SMAN 15 Padang. This type of research is quasi-experimental research with a Randomized Posttest Only Control Group Design research design. The population in this study were all students of class X SMAN 15 Padang registered in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. Sampling in this study was conducted by combining purposive sampling and cluster random sampling techniques. The sample in this study was class X MIA 4 as Experiment 1 class and class X MIA 5 as Experiment 2 class as many as 72 students. In the analysis of self and social attitude competency data and knowledge of normal and homogeneous distributed data, then through the two average similarity test, on the competence of self and social attitudes obtained tcount = 3.32 and on the knowledge competency tcount = 3.87, while the value T table (0.975; 70) = 1.9966 which proves that the value of Thitung is greater than T table, with acceptance criteria Ho if or -1.996 <th <1.996, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted, meaning that there are significant learning outcomes between application of CTL-based E-modules with CTL-based Learning Videos.

Abstract

The current physics learning process is still not in accordance with the expected conditions, because students are only able to understand the concepts, and have not been able to apply physics learning into daily. The solution of this problem is to use textbooks based on contextual learning and environmental literacy. This study aims to determine the level of practicality of textbooks on kinetic gas theory and thermodynamic materials based on contextual learning and environmental literacy for senior high school students in grade XI. The type of research used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) Sugiyono design. In evaluating the practicality according to the teacher and students consists of 4 components and 37 items assessed aspects. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis consisting of practicality analysis. The results of the practicality analysis of 1 teachers with an average value 95,43 and 35 students with an average value 88,88 categories are very well. The conclusion is that the textbook of kinetic gas theory and thermodinamycs based on contextual learning and environmental literacy for senior high school students in grade XI is practically used with a very well practicality level. So, the textbook is feasible to use when learning.
