Abstract

This research focuses on creating a learning media product that utilizes Augmented Reality (AR) for teaching IPAS, particularly aimed at fifth-grade students in Social Studies. The study was conducted to evaluate the validation from experts in media, subject matter, and student testing, as well as to assess the practicality and effectiveness of student learning outcomes after engaging with the AR-based learning media. Utilizing a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, this study follows the ADDIE model, which includes five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, documentation, and validation questionnaires for experts, as well as response questionnaires for teachers and students.The validation results from media experts showed a percentage of 97.14% with a "highly feasible" criterion, material experts obtained a percentage of 92.5% with a "highly feasible" criterion, and test experts achieved 100% with a "highly feasible" criterion. The practicality results from teacher and student response questionnaires indicated that teachers gave a response percentage of 100% with a "highly practical" criterion, while students' responses reached 93.34% with a "highly practical" criterion. Furthermore, student learning outcomes were measured using Normality Test (N-Gain), resulting in a score of 73.58% with an "effective" criterion. Based on the assessment results, it can be concluded that the AR-based learning media for IPAS learning in fifth grade is highly feasible for use in education. Future researchers are advised to conduct field trials, measure the effectiveness of teaching materials, and further develop AR-based learning media for various subjects in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengungkan fenomena di STAIN Madina dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Islam moderat. Perguruan tinggi merupakan wadah ilmiah yang mencakupi pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat atau disebut tridarma perguruan tinggi untuk membekali mahasiswa berkontribusi di masyarakat. Maka dalam hal ini, keberadaan STAIN Mandailing Natal berada dalam keragaman tersebut. Untuk memproleh data terhadap permasalahan penelitian tersebut maka digunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomonologi. Maka upaya yang dilakukan peneliti bahwa menyajikan data dan hasil wawancara yang diperoleh di lapangan, kemudian peneliti melakukan analisis data. Berdasarkan analisis data dari hasil temuan penelitian maka ditemukan bahwa pertama konsep Islam Moderat di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri (STAIN) Mandailing Natal meliputi: 1) kekeluargaan artinya untuk mencapai tujuan yang baik harus bersama-sama, bekerjasama meskipun berbeda budaya. 2) kerukunan dan kedisiplinan. 3) keterbukaan yaitu menerima perubahan berdasarkan batasan dalam nilai-nilai Islam. Kedua Islam moderat pada dasarnya membangun modernisasi dalam pemikiran islam. Berkembangnya Islam keseluruh lapisan sosial masyarakat dan segala aspek lini sturuktural masyarakat telah menorehkan tinta sejarah bahwa ajaran Islam adalah ajaran rahmat li al alamin. Keberhasilan tersebut tidak terlepas dari penekanan Islam dalam menjaga menjaga keragaman, dalam aspek pemerintahan dikenal dengan Islam wasathan. Pemikiran yang terbuka dengan membuka pintu modernisasi sebagai bentuk perubahan sosial merupakan konsekuensi logis dari kondisi dunia yang semakin mengglobal.

Abstract

The research aims to develop a product of teaching materials based on Liveworksheets for learning science, particularly social studies materials for grade V elementary school students. This study was conducted to evaluate the validity of the teaching materials through validation assessments from material experts, language experts, and teaching material experts, as well as to assess their practicality. The study uses the Research and Development (R&D) approach, employing the ADDIE model, which includes five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection methods include observation, interviews, documentation, and validation questionnaires for experts, along with response questionnaires for teachers and students. The validation results from material experts showed a percentage of 88% in the "very valid" category, while language experts achieved 90% in the "very valid" category, and teaching material experts scored 80% in the "valid" category. Based on feedback from practitioners through the teacher and student response questionnaires, teacher responses received 89% in the "very practical" category, while student responses reached 93.46% in the "very practical" category. Based on the assessment results of the Liveworksheets-based teaching materials, it can be concluded that these materials are highly suitable for use in grade V science education. For future researchers, it is advisable to conduct field trials to measure the effectiveness of the teaching materials and to develop Liveworksheets-based teaching materials for various subjects in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant effect of using the Project Based Learning learning model on students' understanding of science concepts in elementary schools. The research method used is an experiment (quasi-experiment) with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all fourth-grade students of SDN 5 Kampung Baru. The research sample used was 50 students, namely 25 students of class IV A and 25 of class IV B. The data collection technique used was a multiple-choice test. The results of this study were obtained through the Independent Sample T-test or hypothesis test with a significance value of <,001. Based on the results of these values, it can be concluded that the probability of significance <0.05 so that H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. From these results, it can be concluded that the project-based learning model has an effect on the understanding of science concepts of fourth-grade students at SDN 5 Kampung Baru.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Carousel Feedback learning model on the scientific literacy skills of grade 3 students of Rejodadi Elementary School in science subjects. The research method used is pre-experiment design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The research sample consisted of 23 students selected through probability sampling techniques. The research instrument was a science literacy test that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed a significant increase in students' average scores, from 57.17 (pretest) to 68.26 (posttest). The Paired Sample T-Test statistical test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), which indicated a significant effect of the Carousel Feedback learning model on students' scientific literacy. Thus, this learning model can be an effective alternative to improving scientific literacy in elementary schools.

Abstract

Pendidikan multikultural merupakan proses untuk mengembangkan kemampuan dan pemahaman individu agar dapat menghargai pluralitas dan heterogenitasnya di lingkungan tempat tinggal salah satunya di SDN Campur Asri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan secara ilmiah dan memahami serta menggali informasi sejauh mana sikap toleransi dan cinta damai yang ditunjukkan oleh warga sekolah SDN Campur Asri. Dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik triangulasi yakni wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Partisipan yang dituju dalam penelitian ini adalah guru yang menerapkan pembelajaran  pendidikan karakter dan multkultural dalam membangun sikap cinta damai dan toleransi pada siswa sekolah dasar kelas V. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan multikultural sangat mempengaruhi karakter siswa SDN Campur Asri untuk melaksanakan aktivitas belajar di tengah keberagaman yang ada. Pendidikan multikultural dapat diintegrasikan pada tema pembelajaran PPKn yang dilaksanakan serta melalui pembiasaan perilaku dengan cara saling menghormati perbedaan yang ada dalam sekolah. Selain itu guru menjadi pribadi yang dapat diteladani oleh siswa dengan cara mencerminkan sikap toleransi dan cinta damai.

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk menilai efektivitas media manipulatif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman operasi bilangan pecahan. pengkajian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis Quasi experimental design, dengan bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi terdiri dari semua peserta didik di kelas IV dari semester genap tahun akademik 2024/2025 di SDN 5 Kampung Baru dengan sampel 37 peserta didik menggunakan tes essay 10 butir. Dalam menyelidiki data studi ini digunakan uji hipotesis yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Uji normalitas dilancarkan dengan uji shpiro-wilk disertai dengan uji homogenitas dengan uji levene. Setelah memastikan homogenitas dilanjutkan ke pengujian hipotesis. Uji paired sample t test dan Uji t sample independent t test yang dihitung menggunakan software SPSS 30 for Windows. Berdasarkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) pada taraf signifikansi 5% adalah sebesar 0,015 > 0,05 dapat dipastikan ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil posttest peserta didik antara menggunakan media manipulatif dan tanpa menggunakan media, demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis nol (Ho) yang menyatakan ditolak, sementara itu alternatif (Ha) yang menyatakan bahwa penggunaan media manipulatif terhadap pemahaman operasi bilangan pecahan peserta didik kelas IV SDN 5 Kampung Baru dinyatakan diterima. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa penerapan media manipulatif efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman operasi bilangan pecahan peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology and information in the 21st century has caused major changes in many aspects of life, including the world of education. During this period of disability, transformative innovation requires agile and effective adaptation from all elements of the education system, especially teachers. As the foreground of education, teachers play a vital role in preparing young people to face the challenges and use the possibilities of the disability era. He not only learns teaching materials, he also has the ability to meet the requirements of the 21st century. These 21st century abilities include the ability to critically, creatively, collaboratively, communicatively and critically consider digital capabilities. These abilities are essential for students to adapt to rapid changes, innovate and contribute productively to the global society.  This study seeks to analyze teacher disability in the development of skills related to the requirements of the 21st century in the age of disability. The knowledge from this study is expected to contribute significantly to the development of teacher professionalism, improving the quality of education, and preparing young people who are competitive and competitive on the global stage. It is also expected that this study will include comprehensive and applicable recommendations for stakeholders in the field of education, including the government, educational institutions, and professional organizations, to develop effective and relevant guidelines and programs for professional development for teachers with 21st century needs. To achieve this goal, this study uses a qualitative approach in the literature research method. Literature research is an effort to find research data or information by reading scientific journals, reference works, and published materials available in the library. Data collected from various sources are analyzed using the distance model and Hooverman, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study focuses on the analysis of articles, papers, and journals that specifically discuss the challenges of shaping the 21st century in the era of disability, where the subject of teacher competence is experiencing disability. The findings of this study say that educators have a deeper understanding of the challenges of adapting to the dynamics of change in the world of education when adapting. It is also expected that this study will be able to achieve teacher professional development and improve the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Google Chrome applications on students' learning independence, focusing on applications such as Google Docs, Google Classroom, and Google Meet. The method used is a literature review, by collecting and analyzing various relevant journal articles, books, and research reports published between 2014 and 2024. The results show that these applications make a significant contribution to supporting independent learning by providing tools for task management, collaboration, and flexible access to learning materials. Google Docs allows students to work collaboratively, while Google Classroom provides a platform for more structured learning management. Google Meet supports remote learning, allowing for in-person interaction between students and teachers. In addition, Google Chrome extensions such as PointerViz and Datasets2Tools enrich students' learning experience, allowing them to explore complex concepts independently. However, challenges related to privacy, data security, and cross-browser compatibility need to be addressed to maximize the use of these apps in support of self-paced learning. This study concludes that Google Chrome applications have great potential to increase learning independence, but there needs to be attention to technical and security aspects to support a more effective and safe learning experience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang diimplementasikan oleh guru kelas yang merangkap sebagai guru bimbingan dan konseling di MIN 9 Kota Banda Aceh dalam memfasilitasi kebutuhan belajar pada kategori siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Dengan melihat strategi yang telah diterapkan oleh guru kelas sebagai guru bimbingan dan konseling ini akan menemukan penemuan baru dalam memberikan kebutuhan yang disesuaikan pada kategori siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan menggabungkan data yang didapatkan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara terperinci dengan guru kelas sebagai guru bimbingan dan konseling, wali kelas, Ketua Tim Layanan Pendidikan Inklusif serta analisis dokumen terkait seperti profil siswa inklusi. Hasil penelitian menerangkan bahwa strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru kelas sebagai guru bimbingan dan konseling mencakup pendekatan permainan, individual, dan komunikasi yang dibangun dengan orang tua siswa. Pendekatan permainan yang dilakukan oleh guru seperti; mengajak siswa untuk bermain sambil bernyanyi dan guru turut aktif mendampingi terkhusus kepada siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Pendekatan individual yang dijalankan oleh guru, siswa didampingi untuk mempelajari pelajaran kurang mengerti dan membantu siswa yang mengalami hambatan pada proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, peran orang tua sangat penting dalam mendidik dan mendorong anaknya untuk mencapai keberhasilan proses belajar. Walaupun demikian, hambatan yang dialami dalam menerapkan strategi ini, guru harus mampu menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan bagi setiap siswa berkebutuhan khusus.
