Abstract

One of the government's development priorities in Nawa Cita to succeed the SDGs is to build economic independence by driving strategic sectors of the domestic economy, one of which is the marine fisheries sector. The region that has the potential to be developed, by utilizing the local potential of marine fisheries, is the Province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). NTT has a great marine fisheries potential because it has a sea area of approximately 200,000 km2 with a coastline of about 5,700 km2. The purpose of this study was to find out which districts/cities are classified as high potential in the marine capture fisheries sub-sector and what marine capture fisheries commodities have the highest potential in each of those districts/cities in NTT Province in 2016. The data used in this study were sourced from the Fisheries Service, NTT and the analytical method used is descriptive analysis, cluster analysis using the Fuzzy C-Medoids method, and Location Quotient. The results of the analysis show that there are 8 districts/cities classified as high potential in the marine capture fisheries sub-sector in NTT Province in 2016, which are East Sumba, Kupang, Alor, East Flores, Sikka, Ende, Manggarai, and Kupang City. The commodities that have the highest potential in the marine capture fisheries sub-sector in each of these potential areas are paperek fish, flying fish, kite, jackfruit seeds, selar, tembang, mackerel, and skipjack.

Abstract

Research on the factors affecting consumers in deciding to purchase fresh fish Patin (Pangasius sp) was held in March 2020 at the market Arengka Kota Pekanbaru Riau province. This research aims to know about the overview of the market Arengka Panam Pekanbaru, knowing the characteristics of the consumers of fresh fish in the market Arengka Panam Pekanbaru and analyze the factors that affect consumers in deciding the purchase of fresh fish patin in the market Arengka Panam Pekanbaru. The method used is a survey method with the number of respondents as many as 25 consumers of fresh starch fish. From the results of the research is known that Arengka morning market is one of the traditional market that is managed by the private sector, which is the morning market Arengka was established in the year 1990 on the land of Mr. Pudja, with a land area of 6,000 m2. Arengka Morning Market located on the street of Arengka and Soekarno Hatta Village District Sidomulyo Marpoyan Damai, has 95 kiosks, 210 Los, consisting of 400 traders 305 male merchants and 95 women merchants one of his freshman fish vendors consisting of 25 trader. Factors affecting consumers in buying fresh patin fish market in the morning is the quality of fish, prices and decisions consumers fresh patin, of the three factors that became the main factor of consumers in deciding.

Abstract

The study aims to find out the amount of revenue, analyze the yield-share system of purse seine fishermen and compare between local revenue share and government regulations. The research method used in this study is the survey method, while the determination of the respondents of the purse seine fishermen is done by the census method, which is by making all the owner fishermen into respondents who number 11 people. Based on the results of research and analysis that has been conducted obtained that the total net income of purse seine fishermen in a month in the peak season ranges from IDR. 149,780,555.46, in the current season ranges from IDR. 107,775,782.74. The profit-share system implemented in Teluk Nibung sub-district is 50% of the net proceeds minus the fixed cost for the owner's fishermen and 50% for labor fishermen from the net proceeds, with the agreement of operational costs being jointly dependent. This joint dependent has been agreed between the owner's fisherman and the labor fisherman which is a hereditary rule from a long time ago. The result-sharing system implemented already complies with law No.16 of 1964 on Fishery Sharing, which if used motorboats at least 40% of the net yield for labor fishermen, while in Teluk Nibung sub-district more than 40% is distributed to labor fishermen which is 50%.

Abstract

This research was conducted on March 9 until 25 2020 in Sibaganding Village, Girsang Sipangan Bolon Sub-District, Simalungun Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the marketing mix of fish feed for various brands and to determine consumer assessment of the marketing mix of fish feed for various brands in Sibaganding Village. The method used in this research is a survey method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The technique of determining respondents used purposive sampling and stratified random sampling. The results showed that the marketing mix strategy of the feed companies Comfeed, Pokhpand, Cargill and Sinta had implemented the 4P marketing mix, namely product, promotion, price and distribution. By marketing fish feed in Sibaganding Village, the company implements various 4Ps, namely, product (protein content and product variation); price level (weight of feed / packaging and type of feed); promotions (word of mouth, social media and discounts); location and distribution (company location, distributor and direct distribution). Based on consumer assessments of the 4P marketing mix applied by feed companies, namely 37% of consumers to buy fish feed products with the main choice being promotions given by the company, then 30% for products, 20% for prices and 13% for location and distribution

Abstract

This research was conducted on june 2, 2020 – july 8, 2020 which is located in the Merangin village Kuok sub district Kampar districts Riau province. This study aims to calculate the amount of investment in the cultivation of fish tilapia (oreochromis niloticus) floating net cages in the Merangin village river, to calculate how much revenue and profits in the cultivation business in floating net cages in the merangin village river, and to analyze the feasibility of aquaculture businesses in floating net cages in merangin village. The method used in this research is the case study method with the number of respondents as much as 1 person. Tilapia fish farming business is located in Merangin Village, Kuok Subdistrict, Kampar district, established in 2004 with 11 floating net cages located on the river bank under the first bridge of the Koto Panjang Hydroelectric Power Plant and developing each year, this development can be seen from the total investment spent on the fish farming business. Fish Tilapia in Merangin Village, Kuok Subdistrict, Kampar districts, amounting to Rp. 258.904.000, the components that affect investment are fixed capital and working capital components, namely making floating net cages, water installations, purchasing scales, buckets, buckets, nets, purchasing seeds, purchasing pellet feed, generator set, and drum purchase. Receipt from the fish tilapia farming business is Rp.356.400.000 every year, while the profit earned is Rp. 97.496.000 annually, and the fish tilapia farming business in Merangin Village, Kuok District, Kampar districts is feasible based on a Return Cost Ratio (RCR) of 1.37, Financial Rate of Return (FRR) value of 25.32% and Payback Period of Capital (PPC) 3.9 periods.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Januari 2019 in UPR Mina Sepakat Jaya Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. This research aimed to determine the amount of investment needed and to analysis the financial feasibility of UPR Mina Sepakat Jaya in Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The method used is a case studyand determining the respondents using the census method. The result showed that the initial investment needed in catfish hatchery business in UPR Mina Sepakat Jaya about IDR 101.920.000,- – IDR 112.216.000,-. This catfish hatchery business is feasible to proceed based on range of RCR value from 2,91 to 3,33, on FRR value >bank interest rate, and PPC ranged from 0,9 to 1,1.

Abstract

The research was conducted in January 2020, in Haranggaol Village, Haranggaol Horison Sub-District, Simalungun Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the production of Goldfish, Tilapia, and Catfish cultivated in KJA and to analyze the factors that affect business productivity in KJA. Research method is Survey, with quantitative analysis and Cobb Douglas were used to analyze the data of this study. The results showed that Tilapia production of 7.066 bags of cages was 18.856,3 tons/year, Goldfish production of 84 bags of cages which were polyculture was 145,6 tons/year and Catfish production of 9 bags of cages was 14,17 tons/year. Every farmer in this village was harverst for Goldfish and Tilapia twice for a year and Catfish three times for year. Each harvest, the Tilapia weight was 250-500 gr/fish, Goldfish 500-600 gr/fish, and Catfish 250 gr/fish. The selling price of Tilapia was IDR.22.000,-/kg, Goldfish IDR.28.000,-/kg, and Catfish IDR.12.000,-/kg. The results showed that the factors that affect productivity were seeds, feed, and the number of cages. The result shows that simultaneously there was a significant affect of these three factors to the productivity of the fish. Partially the factors of seeds and feed production were significant, while the number of cages had no significant affect. The regression result showed the value of Adjusted R Square is 0,0898 or 89%, and it can be concluded that 89% of the total fish production in KJA was based on the factors of seed production (X1), feed (X2), and the number of cages (X3), and the rest 11% are variables outside of this research.

Abstract

This research was conducted on March 2020 at IV Koto Setingkai Village, Kampar Kiri Sub- District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. This study aims to Describes the history of Lubuk Larangan, describes how to manage Lubuk Larangan. The method used in this research with descriptive qualitative. From the results of the study, be discovered Lubuk Larangan was formed in 2013 by mutual agreement between ninik mamak, government officials and community leaders in IV Koto Setingkai village. The Lubuk Larangan is influenced by neighboring villages and the local wisdom of Lubuk Ban that already exists in West Sumatra. The catching procession at the opening of the Lubuk Larangan is carried out by reading the prayer by the Ustadz and catching fish with nets by ninik mamak, harvesting is carried out from 8 a.m to 6 p.m, for closing the lubuk larangan with throwing the Kain kafan in the middle of the river and reading the yasin also prayers. This rule is very strong against the mystical beliefs of the local community, they believe that with the shroud the mystical nature is thicker and the people are more afraid and believe that the curse is really real. The throwing of the kain kafan its means that the curse that will be put on for violators of the lubuk larangan rules can only be healed by the shroud (death) alone.

Abstract

This research was conducted in March 2020 at Buana Bakti Village, Kerinci kanan Sub-district Siak district. The location of this study was determined deliberately (purposive sampling) with the consideration that Buana Bakti Village has a good enough potential to carry out catfish (Clarias sp) farming activities. The respondents in this study were taken by census. The catfish rearing cultivation business in Buana Bakti Village, Kerinci kanan Sub-district Siak regency has been established since 2017. The total investment is IDR 71.113,000, which consists of a fixed capital of IDR 41.006,000, and working capital of IDR 30.107,000.The total revenue received by the cultivator group in conducting the catfish enlargement business is IDR 42.500,000, and revenue per year of IDR 170.000,000, meanwhileThe income earned by the group per period is IDR 10.379.000, and the income per year is IDR 41.519.000. Based on the calculation of the investment criteria, it was found that the RCR value of the Catfish Cultivator group in Buana Bakti Village was 1,32. Meanwhile, the ROI value for the cultivator group was 14,16%. PPC value for catfish rearing business is 1,64 period.

Abstract

The use of input in supporting the success of fish cultivation is the availability of seeds and feed that qualify both quality, quantity and continuity. The input supply chain system in floating net keramba business is known through chain and flow chain actors. The goal that wants to be achieved in this study is to find out the amount of use of seed input and feed and input supply chain system in Haranggaol Village.Research was carried out in Haranggaol Village of Simalungun Regency of North Sumatra Province on February 9 – March 9, 2020. This research is a descriptive study with survey methods. The results showed that KJA Business in Haranggaol Village with a total of 7,075 bags per year requires tilapia fish seed (Monoculture) of 95,139,000 tails, Goldfish and Tilapia (Polyculture) seeds are tilapia seeds 1,520,000 tails and goldfish 289,000 tails and catfish seeds are 138,000 tails. The amount of feed for tilapia is 36,266,180 kg, goldfish and tilapia feed is 17,431,160 kg and catfish feed is 12,582 kg. The mechanism of seed input supply chain involves Seeding Cultivation and Enlargement Cultivation while feed supply chain involves Feed Factory, Large Trader and Enlargement Cultivation. There are product flows, financial flows and information flows in Haranggaol Village.
