Abstract

This research was conducted in June 2020 in Hangtuah village, Perhentian Raja Sub District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province.This study aims to calculate the income earned and to analyze the strategy in developing a business of processed catfish (Clarias sp) products in Hangtuah village. The method used is a survey method by conducting direct observations in the field by collecting data through interviews based on questionnaires, the population in this study are housewives who are members of the catfish processing business group in Hangtuah village, namely the Mina Sejahtera group, which amounts to 10 members. The results showed that the income per month of catfish processing business carried out by the Mina Sejahtera group was IDR 424,510. SWOT analysis resulted in 12 alternative strategies that can be used by catfish processing products. The results of the calculation of the score of each strategy can be ranked as seen from the number of interests generated. Rank 1 (one) to 3 (three) is a strategy that is prioritized for use in the development of marketing of processed catfish products. The three strategies are: (WO1) Promoting processed catfish products with brochures / printed media and online social media so as to attract potential consumers; (SO1) Can develop new product innovations by paying more attention to the quality of processed catfish products so that they can be sold in the market; (ST1) Maintaining the quality and characteristics of processed catfish products.

Abstract

The contribution of women in the agricultural sector has increased in the last two years. This is caused by the population growth and household economy. Women contribute in the agricultural sector involved in almost all farming activities from planting to marketing. Some activities in agricultural sector such as seeding, weeding, fertilizing, watering and harvesting are more suitable to be done by women. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze the women farmer contribution to household income. The study included one group of women farmers. Data used in this research were primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by interviewing respondents using a questionnaire while secondary data was conducted using a literature review and from various related institutional sources. The contribution of women farmers to household income measured by comparing the income received by women farmers with the income that their husbands and children received. The result showed that The contribution of women farmers to household income is 24%. This number classified as low but still relatively higher than the contribution of women farmers in other developing countries. This indicates that the role of women farmer group, is important to increase the women farmer income.

Abstract

This study aims to identify structural and non-structural mitigation in Sungai Kayu Ara Village. This research was conducted in March 2021 in Sungai Kayu Ara Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the mitigation policies of fishermen households in Sungai Kayu Ara Village due to social engineering of the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this study using the Survey Method. The population in this study were fishing households totaling 48 households. The technique of determining respondents is by means of a census, which is taking the entire population as respondents. Data collection is done by means of observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, literature study, and searching data and information online. Analysis of the data used are: qualitative descriptive analysis. Structural and non-structural Covid-19 mitigation in Sungai Kayu Ara Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency focuses more on implementing government policies stipulated through the Regent's Regulation on Handling Infectious Diseases and the Regent's Regulation on the Implementation of Administrative Sanctions for Enforcement. health protocols in handling infectious diseases. Structural and non-structural mitigation of Covid-19 carried out by fishing households in the research location is the 3M health protocol policy, namely wearing masks, maintaining distance and avoiding crowds, and washing hands with soap.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to assess the profile access and control on household farming livelihood of second generation of resettler. This study was conducted in Koto Mesjid Village of Subdistrict XIII Koto Kampar, Kampar district, Riau Province. Location in this study was selected by purposive sampling technique. Population used in this study were all second generation in Koto Mesjid Village. The number of samples in Koto Mesjid village were 62 households. The result of this study showed there is difference between access and control to resources aspect and stages of farming activites between men (husbands) and women (wives). The resettlement impacts caused the women's (wife) access to the land to be reduced, caused by the loss of farming activities in the paddy fields as a result of the Koto Panjang dam construction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of City Branding and City Image on the decision to visit tourists in the marine tourism object in the Mandeh area. The research method used in this study was a quantitative research method using primary data and secondary data. The population in this study are tourists who have visited and have visited, sampling using a non-probability technique, namely purposive random sampling on tourists from the Mandeh area of ​​Pesisir Selatan Regency with a sample of 100 people. The results showed that City Branding had a direct and significant effect on City Image with a percentage of 49.1%. City Branding on the decision to visit has a significant effect of 13.6% and City Image on the decision to visit is significant at 10.5%.

Abstract

Simeulue Regency has very diverse and abundant marine fishery resources, one of which is octopus (Octopus sp) which is a superior commodity that can improve the community's economy. This research was carried out in Tiga Bersaudara from August 30 to October 30, 2021. This study aims to determine the production and marketing value of octopus in the Tiga Bersaudara. In this study using qualitative data methods where this data can be more likely to explore problems more clearly because the research was carried out directly which was used in research. Based on the results of the research, the production of octopus in August and October increased while in September it decreased due to unfavorable weather factors. Advantages in the Tiga Bersaudara are good at implementing planning, organizing, directing and supervising. Where the quality of the octopus produced is maintained so that it can produce packaged products that can increase productivity.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country with huge potential for fishery resources. However, the level of fish consumption in Indonesia is relatively low compared to the potential of fishery resources owned. The causes of the low consumption of fish include the lack of public understanding about the benefits of consuming fish, the lack of smooth distribution of fish, and not optimal facilities and infrastructure. Researchers formulate a food innovation product derived from processed tuna, namely Tuna Crispy Tofu "TATUCHI". The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the business profile of TATUCHI, management aspects, marketing aspects, technical aspects, financial aspects of TATUCHI's business. The research method used is the method of active participation, observation and documentation by means of researchers going directly to the field. In this study using a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. Data collection methods used are interviews and documentation. This research was conducted on November 8, 2021 – December 8, 2021. The results obtained from this study were the name of the business, namely Tuna Crispy Tofu "TATUCHI" which was issued in November 2021. The marketing aspect of the Crispy Tuna Tofu business "TATUCHI" using a marketing strategy variable consisting of segmentation, targeting, positioning, and difirrentation besides that it will also analyze the marketing mix which includes the 4Ps (Product, Price, Place and Promotion). The financial aspect consists of capital, production costs, revenues, profits, R/C Ratio, BEP, and RTC.

Abstract

This research was conducted from March to April 2020 at Balai Benih Ikan Sipungguk Village, Kampar regency’ Riau Province. The method used was survey method by making direct observations in the field the collecting data through interviews with a questionnaire. In this study the respondents were 10 fish breeders who used the internet taken by purposive sampling. The result of the study indicate that the fish breeders at the Balai Benih Ikan Sipungguk village, Kampar regency, Riau province, had a productive age of 24-52 years. Fish hatchery education at the undergraduate level was classified as high. The income from a salary of IDR 1.500.000/month was in the medium category, moderate internet usage pathern was 4 hours apart from holidays, the average frequency was 5 hours/day of smartphone usage everyday. The variety of media access consisted of Youtube, Whatsapp, Instagram and Blog. The breedders used the internet to facilitate communication among other breeders, send electronic mail such as Email and Whatsapp, open discussion forums to convey and share information and to find out about developing problems by always updating the latest information on the internet. In general for those related to work in the work group.

Abstract

This research was conducted from 30 July to 10 September 2019 in Bunsur Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The research objective is to calculate the amount of investment, analyze the amount of production costs, revenues and profits and to analyze the business feasibility in Bunsur Village. The method used was a survey method with 16 fishermen as respondents. The result of the research is that the average total investment of anchovies processing fishermen business in Bunsur Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency is IDR. 28.632.062,50. The average total cost of anchovy in 1 period is IDR. 857.463,72 for the average total cost of anchovies business in 1 month, namely IDR. 1.714.927,43 while the average total cost of anchovies 1 year is IDR. 20.579.129,19. The average total revenue or gross income is IDR. 2.222.187,50/period, for the average monthly gross income of IDR. 4.444.375,00/month and for the average annual gross income of IDR. 53.332.500,00/year while the total profit or average net income obtained by anchovy processing fishermen is IDR. 1.364.723,78/period and for the average monthly gross income of IDR. 2.729.447,57/month while the average gross income for the period was IDR. 32.753.370,81/year. Analysis of the feasibility of anchovies processing business in Bunsur Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency, obtained RCR values, namely (2,59), FRR (115,42) and PPC values (0,89), which means that the effort to control anchovy in Bunsur Village is feasible for next.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of consumer behavior, namely culture (X1), social (X2), psychological (X3), and personal (X4) on purchasing decisions (Y) and the strategies used by catfish pecel traders.The research method used in this research is a survey method, Meanwhile, the determination of consumer respondents for pecel catfish is done by accidental sampling, namely by taking 5 consumers in one pecel catfish outlet with a total number of consumer respondents of 150 consumers and 30 traders of pecel catfish. Based on the results of research and analysis that has been conducted, it is found that the influence of consumer behavior on purchasing decisions is known from the value of Fcount greater than Ftable, namely 149.261> 1.98, and with an R Square value of 0.805, it means 80.5% Y can be explained X1, X2, X3, X4. While the remaining 19.5% can be explained by other factors not examined in this study.
